The battery does not last more than a couple days. Now I have to remove the whole device and take it back to have it replaced. I am very disappointed that a subscription is required to view all past events.

Originally, I would have given Ring 5 stars but I've had trouble with one of my units since installed. Today I contacted customer support about my issue (again) and once the issue was identified , the customer service rep LEFT the chat! No solution offered not even a cordial good bye. Rude.

Way to many false alerts

Way to many false alerts. Have set my area to medium and low and still get false alerts. Also had someone come to the door and knock and the alert never went off.

I'm not sure how I like the ring bell have been having trouble with it every since I received it have not received my replacement one yet.

Not what I thought it would be...

Have had ring a little over a month. Have it working via wifi. I have to take it down almost daily to reconnect it. The router sits right inside the front door which I find it too be weird that I have to keep reconnecting. It doesn't do me any good when I am miles away and can't look at the house, can't get notifications, etc. beginning to think it was a huge mistake buying it.

Unit is hard wired but does drain its battery even after altering the motion range and then takeaway hours to recharge and I miss those times which has cost me .., looking at other brand cameras now

Range doesn't work

Wish there wad a way to NOT get all the passing car. Constantly having to delete nonsense. Spoke to your customer service and was told even if i change the range it will still pick up the cars. That just doesn't make sense. Why is there a range if it doesn't work.

Great idea, sadly not useable

I bought the ring for its advertised functions, but ended up using it to see who I missed. If you don't have any other smart things in your house it will work resonably well, but if you have a lot of other smart things the interference can slow it down to almost unusable. The delay is so long that the person has left before you can answer. I would consider myself an expert in the smart world, but could do nothing to get it work in a real life environment. Furthermore, if you are one of the first adopters, the silver knob may fall off. Not worth the money.
