Qua klantenservice bagger..
Qua klantenservice bagger.. Zeer slecht Nederlands sprekende medewerkster die het probleem niet kan oplossen. 2 jaar heeft onze Ring het uitstekend gedaan en sinds kort neemt hij slecht op, vooral als donker is. Volgens klantenservice staat er een stuk muur in de weg waardoor de Ring het niet goed zou doen..met mijn mededeling dat die muur ook de eerste 2 jaar er al zat en de ring prima werkte deden ze niks ! Het ligt aan de muur en niet aan de Ring ..echt koekoek ! Gevraagd of ze mee wilden kijken naar mijn instellingen of eventuele verkeerde updates maar daar deden ze niets mee.. het was de muur en niet anders !!!!! Valt niet fatsoenlijk mee te communiceren..

Terrible customer service, refused to honor warranty
I have had multiple ring devices since 2019 and have had the ring multi subscription for the entire time. For the most part they worked OK, not anything to brag about, but functional if a little over priced. I just called my first time for a doorbell that quit working and needed to get it covered under the extended warranty that comes with the subscription. Nope. Not only did the rep never listen to what I said, made me repeat myself over and over and over again, and then had me do what I just told them I did, again and again, but they never once did anything I hadn't done before I called even though I was on the phone with them for about an hour and a half. Then when I finally got a supervisor on the phone she flat told me that I missed a payment somewhere in the past six years and so all of my warranties were void. Talking to my wife it turns out that we had a credit card compromised and had to get a replacement, when we did, the one on file with ring was declined, and it took us a few days to get to putting in the new card. So six years of payments to get the extended warranty, and they refused to honor it. As a small town IT provider, I will absolutely make sure ALL of my clients hear this story and go with an alternative company for their needs. You are better off with someone like Wyze who may not provide the extended warranty but provide similar products for less money so when one breaks you just grab a new one and move on.

WORST Customer Service!
Purchased a RING doorbell on their website. It was disfunction and had to be replaced. Received their shipping label to return and receive refund. (Found out they will not send a replacement until their warehouse has confirmed receipt of the item sent back - and they have up to 30 days to start a return/refund). I called and spoke to MANY customer service reps over the month between the date it was sent back (Jan 23) and today (March 6) asking if it was received and where is my return, then later my refund because I was tired of waiting for replacement). Each rep would tell me it wasn't received by their warehouse even though the UPS tracking showed it was received by them on Feb 2). During this time, I have received NO correspondence by RING as to receipt, replacement, or return. Today (March 6th) I come to find out that after searching and searching, yes they did receive the broken doorbell on Feb 2nd and that now it is too late to receive a refund. Really?? Because their customer service reps didn't handle this 3 weeks ago when I spoke to them on Feb 3rd and asked for a refund. I'm letting everyone know -- if you purpose a RING device, don't purchase through them directly and don't expect to get good customer service for any need (including technical)!

Wird immer schlechter…
Einrichten super einfach. Nach kurzer Zeit ständig „schlechte“ wlan Verbindung obwohl sich nichts verändert hat. Bildqualität wird dadurch super schlecht. Jetzt habe ich seit längerer Zeit ständig das Problem das mir alle Kameras als Offline angezeigt werden und nur wieder kommen wenn ich sie neu starte oder sie sind nach einiger Zeit von alleine wieder online. Katastrophe so bietet mir das System keine Sicherheit….

A1 gave me wrong advise
I updated my credit card and when I checked the account, I found my renewal was for only one device. In addition, it was going to renew monthly instead of an annual review. I called Ring and communicated with a voice from A1 and he can me instructions on how to correct. The first thing was to cancel the one device and sign up as if it were a new account. I made a point of telling him I wanted to the annual to continue of the date of my anniversary on when I initially set it up. He assured it would. So, I did, but it only renewed one device again. I called and talked a technician that could barely speak English. She did the correction of putting both devices on an annual renewal. I made it clear I did not want to change the annual date. I was assured that wouldn't happen. Two hours later, I get an email saying because I cancelled my device, my new annual renewal will be today. I called back and was told there was nothing they could do. I lost one month of service due to the mistake of A1. I'm so disappointed in the direction the company is going and how dishonest their A1 feature is.

Lie greedy ring.com stay away
Horrible, give negative 5 spent all this money on cameras for certain features less then 5 months the switch the plan and now they want money per cameras plus the full fee. This is switch and bait. I would never bought these cameras with out 24-7 recording. Cameras are useless with out it. I want my money back on cameras. Is anyone suing for this. If not why not ? These companies robbing and keeping to customers

Diese Ring Müll,die machen was die wollen.Ich Kündige mein Abo,soll noch 0,03 Cent Erstattet bekommen. Der Mensch bestätigt mir das,und schickt mir Gleischzeitig eine neue Anmeldung.Das ist Betrug,sollte von denen eine Abbuchung kommen werde ich den Rechtsanwalt einschalten müssen.Ich kann nur jedem von Ring abraten.

Ring is Social Media NOT about Security!!
Ring has become a Social Media app that your PAY yearly for and they don't monitor or control the narrative within the app. You have people constantly posting spam about rehoming animals (who aren't even in the area), trying to sell or give away furniture, asking constantly stupid questions like "what was that noise" or "helicopter flying overhead, what's happening", etc. The app is no long about Ring Doorbell security, it has become a public forum for people who don't have anything else to do. While you can limit the notifications, unfortunately doing so may miss 1 in 10 posts that actually might be about security. After 10 years with Ring, have decided to invest in a different camera system and not continue with Ring.com.

stop trying to push AI on me I'm not interested
so there are times when recordings are missing but my big thing is how they're trying to ram AI down our throats And you have to go through an AI person on VRU you to get through to a live rap although that's becoming increasingly more common in general my issue they put me into a so-called free trial of AI that I never requested and didn't want and would not stop it or end it I had to wait for it to naturally expire Was so happy even though I had already manually gone in and opted out of the AI functions as well Because of course they set them up as an opt out rather than an opt in lol However now they're back every fricking time I open the app it prompts me to click on a link to hear how awesome AI is and I have zero interest in that Their tech-support tried to have me turn off any and all alerts which the only ones I have relate to certain motion sensors at the door Then they wanted me to completely delete and reload the app which would mean a significant amount of time redoing all my settings and I said no It's a marketing issue not a technology issue But they refused to put me through to a supervisor a lot they did that first and my whole point of asking for a supervisor was to explain why I wasn't going to do that

Worst Customer Service and Faulty equipment
I had a ring doorbell. It stopped working every six weeks or so. I would call and be told to reconnect it with the network. It kept happening. It’s impossible to get to a service agent without jumping through hoops. When you do reach one, their command of the English language is insufficient. They will not allow you to escalate a call to a manager. I was told to call them back when my doorbell stopped working again. they offered no other resolution and hung up on me twice. I wanted to have a refund for my equipment. I opened a claim with the BBB. But had no resolution. Finally, I just canceled the service and contacted another vendor.

Bewegingsmelding komt telaat binnen.
Na 3 a 4 jaar komt de melding van de bewegingssensor telaat binnen. Als ik mijn huis binnen ga krijg ik na 40 a 50 seconden pas een melding, voorheen kreeg ik direct een melding. Wordt tijd voor een andere aanbieder.

I placed an order on Ring.com 10 days…
I placed an order on Ring.com 10 days ago, and my card was charged immediately. However, I have not received any updates regarding the status or shipment of my order. I’ve called customer service twice. During my first call, I was told the item would ship on Tuesday. It is now Wednesday night, and the order still has not shipped. I was then informed that it is expected to ship on 3/1 instead. The lack of clear communication and changing timelines is very disappointing. If the product is not in stock, that should be communicated upfront. Customers should not be charged before the item has even shipped, especially without proper notification of delays. I have previously purchased several Ring devices through Amazon without any issues. This was my first time ordering directly from Ring, and unfortunately, it has been a very frustrating experience.

They fudged my order.
January 30th: ordered two Kidde smoke detectors directly from Ring since it was backordered on Amazon. February 25th: nothing yet. Got on chat support to ask for a ballpark estimate when it would ship. Them: Sorry, but when an item is out of stock, the order gets cancelled as unfillable. (/Surprise cancels my order.) Me: I didn't authorize my order to be cancelled. I wanted it to be shipped out when it's back in stock. Them: Sorry, but let me just repeat what I said before. Order is still cancelled. I left the chat. As it appears, my order has been sitting in "No Can Do" limbo for about a month now with no updates. My question is: why did I have to get in touch with you guys to find out this information? Why didn't anyone contact me instead? It wasn't in stock when I placed the preorder. So, if the chat says orders get cancelled when the item is not in stock, then why were you taking preorders? By that logic my preorder should have been cancelled as soon as I placed it. Doesn't really make any sense. Meanwhile I see it's now in stock over at Amazon. It would be nice if you could let your customers know if your products are in stock elsewhere. We would like to have the ability to know if our homes are burning down while we're away at work, that's all.

1st ring camera worked better than pro…
1st ring camera worked better than pro 2nd Gen. Contacted ring for warranty since the night vision didn't work and was always a white bright light in camera inside camera. Customer service was a disaster, refused to let me talk to get supervisor. After 1hr agreed to send me a new ring camera. Took a few weeks to get the replacement. Then had to cancel my subscription, wait 30 days and pay for another year. This will be my last ring camera.

ALL AI Customer Service-Good Luck!
I have tried for an hour to simply check on an order I placed 10 days ago. I can't seem to get past the 3 different AI computers to speak with a real person if there are any at all. It appears now the rely on entirely AI for customer service which was never good in the first place and now is even worse if that was possible. Find a new company and product. What a waste of decent cameras with extremely poor of non-existent customer service

Kies niet voor Ring
Binnen een week gaat een Ring camera kapot. Eind januari gemeld. Vandaag voor de 5e keer contact gezocht met de Ring customer service want nog steeds geen vervangend product ontvangen (heb de kapotte camera al weken geleden naar Ring gezonden). “Sorry voor de vertraging en we vragen om uw geduld”. Maar wanneer je dat voor de derde keer hoort vraag je je wel af waarom heb ik in vredesnaam ooit voor Ring gekozen!?

REFUSED A REFUND
In Dec. 0f 2025 we purchased another Ring camera and added it to our account and I upgraded our plan. Since our old plan just renewed they had to issue me a credit to the same card originally charged, I told them that card is closed. They told me that I can contact the bank and get the money from the bank once they received it. I told them no thats not how it works. But I waited and tried it their way. When I did contact my old bank I was correct, they funds were rejected and sent back to Ring. Now they REFUSE to issue me a check or even credit my new plan. I am out $33.31!!! They dont seem to understand when you are no longer a customer of a bank they are not going to accept funds to cut you a check. I am awaiting to speak to another superviser.

This company is really horrible. The customer service reps are very unprofessional and not trained to deal with customer issues. They have never solved my problem and I'm always stressed out when I'm finished with them. Their the products are very inferior and never works properly especially when it either gets to hot or cold. I'm soooo ready to move this company should be shut down based on all the complaints I've seen on this forum. Don't even want to give them one star horrible horrible horrible a million times over....

Helaas kan ik geen halve ster geven. ik kreeg een kapotte Chime geleverd. Uit de doos kapot. Je moet hem terugsturen via UPS. Ring doet de 1e 30 dagen sowieso niets. Nadat ik klantenservice ben gaan bellen werd ik steeds afgescheept met excuses en nog even wachten. Het apparaat kost iets meer dan 30 euro. Waar doen ze nu zo moeilijk over? De medewerker was wel aardig maar wat heb je daaraan?

Ring has the worse customer service in the world and it doesn't do any good to contact Corp office because they don't respond. I sent a defective camera back and they never replaced it and like I said, customer service is a waste of time, they are clueless.

Canceled My Plan Without Notice, Then Refused to Honor My Price
I've been a Ring customer and trusted their products to protect my home. Recently, my plan was canceled due to a credit card payment issue — and I was never notified. Not a text, not a push notification through the app, not a phone call. Nothing. When I contacted Ring, they claimed they had emailed me 10 times. I never received a single one of those emails. No spam folder, no promotions tab — nothing. Whether it was a glitch on their end or emails that were never actually sent, the result is the same: I had no idea my plan was canceled, and my home was left unmonitored without my knowledge. To make matters worse, Ring is now refusing to honor the price on my original invoice. So not only did they fail to properly notify me, but they're punishing me for their own communication failure by charging me more to get back the service I already had. But the real kicker was the customer service experience. When I called to resolve this, the representative was shockingly condescending. At one point, they actually said to me, "You need to listen to me." I'm sorry — I'm the customer. I'm calling because YOUR system failed to notify me, and you're talking down to me? That is not how you treat someone who's been paying you to protect their home. Ring had every means to notify me — app notifications, text messages, phone calls — yet apparently relied solely on emails that never arrived. That's a system failure, not a customer failure. And instead of making it right, they doubled down and treated me like the problem. I'm now actively looking at competitors like SimpliSafe and Cove, both of which offer professional monitoring without contracts and without this kind of treatment. Ring has lost a customer — not because of a credit card hiccup, but because of how they handled it. Do better, Ring.

My neighbor Mrs Linda has a ring…
My neighbor Mrs Linda has a ring doorbell camera and it can capture video and audio and motion detect and I feel like she's spying on me when I move or talk and it's an invasion of privacy and who invent ring doorbell should be fired because it's horrible like what's the point of having a ring doorbell camera if it meant to spy on people and invade their privacy like my neighbor Mrs linda and move objects and spy on people who move talk and record audio.
