The company sold out to another. Then they doubled their price (without letting anyone know), hired the cheapest overseas customer service, and provide no benefit. That's not even to speak of the cheap hardware. Avoid at all costs.

Got a ring wired doorbell pro

Got a ring wired doorbell pro, the product never was able to work. With countless times trying to set it up with no luck and speaking with customer service for hours I was unable to get it set-up. I went ahead and puchased another ring doorbell and it was able to be set-up right away. Called ring to get the old one replaced and have been on the phone for hours again. Their customer service is very poor and I am very unhappy with how much time I have spent on the phone trying to get my device replacement. I called back after 5 days after I spoke with someone and they said they are processing a replacement and I still have yet to receive any communication. I will not be purchasing any additional ring products due to my experience with dealing with them

Customer service is awful at Ring Doorbell

Customer service is awful. I want to speak to a human being (call me old fashioned) The door bell has never been an issue until we upgraded. The subscription has not moved across and I couldnt verify my account to talk to someone and then got locked out. I was so frustrated I actually cried. Ive given up now. As long as I have the camera I will not pay for the services and they will lose out. Im so so angry. I will not be using any companies who are not based in the UK and dont have a customer services where you can speak to someone. Thanks Ring.com for making me lose my mind

Ring AI was Scary

Ring AI is highly flawed. It has scared me almost to death for a month now. I've had Bears, large deer, coyotes, bobcats, and other large wild life on my deck. When they were stray cats and the occasional raccoon. Then I had people walking into my house in the wee hours. It was my umbrella. It kept me constantly terrified & annoyed while I waited for Bigfoot. Until it's better, I'll stick to what I've had.

Terrible experience with Ring!

Terrible experience with Ring!! my doorbell died no explanation. I ordered a new one. You took more than 10 hours of talking to service representatives in Asia that were so difficult to communicate with and ended up with no resolution how to install the new doorbell they forced me to buy since the old one didn’t work, and there are no instructions that come with it. You have to use an app. The app makes no sense. I’m very technical and I still couldn’t figure out how to do it then you have to spend another $150 to have a professional Installer come out.. Absolutely useless customer service in another country that can barely communicate. It shouldn’t take 10 hours on a customer service phone call and only end up having to call a Installer because they’re limited instructions are so useless..

The worst customer service to deal with. Order it all from Ring only to find out things are out of stock, they don't tell you the truth, and they can't answer questions without lies. Cancelled my order and will never have a ring system.

Cela fait quelques jours que j'essaye d'ajouter des produits à mon panier et obtenir la réduction de 10%, elle ne s'applique toujours pas. Je contacte le service client Ring par téléphone, on me dit "Passez commande, si la réduction ne marche toujours pas, on vous fera un remboursement". Il y a vraiment un problème de communication.

Man hat mich nicht verstanden dann habe ich ihn mehrfach versucht, zu erklären, dass ich kein VPN anhabe dass sich aber auch vorher schon. The WORST customer service! (Actually NO customer service.) Website did not provide the info I needed, so I phoned. AI only. A disaster. Then tried chat.- Wasted 50 minutes of my time. - I asked how long does it take to charge the battery for a Stick Up Cam? SQUAT. No idea. (Also had other more pressing questions>) - Well, guess what? Googled it and got more info than I needed. What an arrogantly deplorable company. GOOGLE RESULT: Key Charging Information - Average Time: 5-10 hours, often averaging 6-8 hours. Indicators: Red light (charging), Green light (fully charged). - Best Practice: Charge fully before the first use. Using a 10W+ charger provides faster, more consistent charging. - Alternatives: Consider purchasing a Ring spare battery or a solar panel to avoid downtime.

Scam Changes - Doubled billing

Changed our plan from $100/year to $200/year without authorization. Contacted Ring and they refused to change our plan back.

Husband has a new phone I am the account holder, but in the time changed his phone I also upgraded the door bell. Since then he can access his account, but when ring send the activation code- no camera is loaded. Just phone out that my account has the new camera Mac No, but his has the old camera. Over an hour on the phone and I can not make sence that they will not take the Mac no from me for his account, despite him being beside me. Keeps saying he has to log in with old device. Subscription expires in October wont be renewing

Ring Doorbells are useless in sorting out why after my bank agreed with payment there system rejected both my cards, this makes my Doorbells USELESS, everything was alright until both cards expired, I’ve tried and tried to pay with the new ones but just keep going round in circles due to there POOR system. So my advice if you buy there DOORBELLS be careful you don’t wind up with Useless Doorbells like me. Not a very good Company indeed.

Worked ok until I downgraded my subscription. So I am throwing it out and going with Meliluca security system. I get lots more security features including monitoring which ring did not have. I get a doorbell, outside camera, carbon monoxide and a fire alarm that is all monitored. Very upset the ring is not worth its cost and specifically when no one will monitor it.

Customer service team are abysmal

Customer service team are abysmal. The interaction was like talking to a brick wall, the service agent was reluctant to assist at all and I could hear him just typing away without saying much at all. His overall attitude was terrible and when I told him I wasn't available to check what he asked, suddenly he couldn't assist further and ended the call, without even providing an alternative option.

Had my car broken into last night, the camera was fully charged, subscription paid for and didn’t catch anything bare in mind the camera is directly across from my car so it would of seen everything but no didn’t catch a thing, I’m going to cancel my subscription and bin the ring and use eufy.com

On my 2nd ring doorbell in a year in that time spent over £100 on the devices and £7.99 a month subscription only for the first device to stop charging eben though it was abou 8 months old and the new device could of potentially caused an house fire as the charging port melted into the doorbell and i had to leave it cool before pulling it out! Could of been catastrophic if i had charged it and left the house for a few hours as this happend less the an hour of charging! Iv taking pictures of the doorbell and charger to show where its melt! For such a big company its absolutely shambolic how these devices are made!!!
