Awful experience.
Horrible customer service. Didn't ship products despite taking extra-charge for two day shipping. Refuse to cancel order even though product has not shipped, and have no information when it will ship. Bad, bad, bad experienc based upon poor business-customer service model.

Ring not sending Products(Ring alarm 10…
Warning_ My product (Ring alarm 10 piece was defective). Communicated with Ring Support on submitting prroduct back for a replacement 2 day USPS and Ring promised by email to have the replacement shipped 5 days after receipt. This product was shipped with confirmation to ring on. January 10, 2020. I called on the 1/16/20 to check the status since, no such confirmation of return tracking was sent to my email as promised. To my findings, Ring failed to ship the product then issued another promise of delivery in 5 days and tracking info before submitting. Nevertheless, i made a follow-up on the third day of the second promise to find Still no product was sent statinh the shi]ing department cancelled the order. I asked for my $249.00 as a refund and was told no refund will be given that i just have to wait for the product or loss my product . This is Theft, false and misleading and 10 promises later as today 2/14/20 no product alot customer id to sent product and apologizes but no product , no refund only empty promises. I am a Real Customer and anyone may reachout to me. I filed a complaint with the Texas Attorney General and Federal Trade Commission. Dont lose your money over a company that lies and steals. I hope their investor s and CEO go to jail behind their customers dissatisfied concerns as a part of a SEC violation. My next step is file with Congressional Senator's as this is a SEC violation

Ring cameras are great to watch who…
Ring cameras are great to watch who stole your property after they have gotten away. You get a notification of motion by the time it loads, they are gone with your stuff. Since the sheriff and local police dont investigate or pursue thieves the videos are of no value. I'm looking in to security cameras that dont load the video to the cloud as it takes to long to load and you have to wait for the videos to finish uploading to the cloud before you can see them. I pay for 1gb internet so my internet isn't the problem. The sound quality is horrible. No one can understand me and I cant understand them on any of the 5 cameras I have installed. I wasted over $1k on this system and I hope this review helps others avoid the same issues I have.

The Ring doorbell pro looks good and is…
The Ring doorbell pro looks good and is a great idea but the quality of the product is underwhelming to say the least. With-in a year the plastic doorbell button fails. It cracks due to use and I assume heat from the sun. I live in Northern California and my door faces West. I reached out to the manufacture and the help desk is pleasant but spare parts are not sold. They simply direct me to purchase a new unit. I would hate to have to buy a new unit every 12-15 months. Clearly the Ring team needs to better test the environmental impact on their products and improve the durability. There is ever increasing compaction out there now. I recommend shopping around before buying a Ring.

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. After faulty diagnostic testing through support and paying my own money for an electrician to validate all the connections and power, I was advised my product was no longer under warranty after a second electrician validated all information and informed us that the unit was faulty.

Fatal design flaw
We have 4 floodlight cameras. I had a wifi "burp" and they all went offline at once. It turns out that you can NOT reconnect them without physically pressing a button on each camera. They are all about 12 feet off the ground. Apparently their plan is that any time my wifi "burps" I need to get out a ladder, move it to 4 places around the house, and stand there while each camera reconnects. We also have some Nest and Alarm.com cameras as well as a bunch of tablets and computers. Everything came back online by itself except the Ring cameras. I spent 30 minutes on their support line; there is no way around this.

I wish it were possible to give them 0 stars but to do that I'm not able to leave a review. I'm giving them one star and they don't deserve that. I ordered a very expensive home security system they sent it out ups but didn't even bother to send it so that someone had to sign for it. My UPS driver claims to have left it on my front porch there was no package when I got home no proof it was delivered other than the tracking status that said driver released. UPS does they require their drivers to take a photo of proof that they just left a package on someone's front porch. I have no idea why ring cannot simply require a signature of a home security system. Now I have to go through the Hoops wait approximately 8 days for a status before hopefully ring will deliver or redeliver my home security system but require a signature this time.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Billing and Return Department!!!! Run From this Company!!!
I have had the exact same experience as many, many people... you try to return items that don't fit your need and they treat you like a criminal. It took over 53 minutes to get a return label created for the return. It's as though they want you to hang up. Items shipped and returned and guess what... now on hold going through the same idiotic process. They have not credited my credit card. They are treating me like a fool. I had to start yelling to get a manager... let's see if I get one. They have my product... and she is making it sound like she is looking through the warehouse to see if she can find the actual product. B as in B, S as in S!!! What a joke. I am actually on the call as I pen this horrible review... One minute has passed on hold for a manager.... two minutes have passed... three minutes have passed.... four minutes have passed.... five minutes have passed..... Freaking joke... still on hold... and now the same gal got back on the phone and said that they just (miraculously) processed the refund.... except, guess what... the refund is short $239.68.... THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE... I will never see a dime back. LIars, Liars, Liars....

This company does not even deserve one…
This company does not even deserve one star. It has been a complete disaster from day one. I purchased a significant amount of product and was short shipped a bunch of items. The motion detectors cannot be turned off when the alarm is unarmed meaning you are constantly getting notifications that YOU are moving in your OWN HOUSE. Also, the motion detectors are so sensitive they are flipped by my small dog who is under the weight limit they advertise. That made the entire system useless to me. I go to return the product and I can only return some pieces through their automated system (for who knows what stupid reason). I have to contact customer service to get a return label and they argue with me about eligibility despite what is stated on their website. When they agree to accept a return, the person is so incompetent they can't figure out how to create a label for all the pieces I need. They create one label that is not for everything and then have to create a second label. They tell me I have to package it in 4 separate boxes but only send me 2 return labels. I get everything packaged and returned and am supposed to receive a refund within 10 business days. After THREE weeks of nothing, I contact customer service and am told that my concern was escalated to the billing department and I will hear back about the processing of a refund in 24-48 hours. 3 days later, still nothing so I contact again and am told the same thing - their queue is busy and I'll hear back within another 24-48 hours. Completely unacceptable.

Slechtere service kan niet
Echt een hele hele hele slechte service. Heb begin okt 2019 zes camera’s rechtstreeks bij Ring besteld. Na 4!! x bellen (en steeds een half uur aan de lijn, zonder dit te overdrijven) en diverse smoesjes (ze moesten nog uit Amerika komen, ze stonden toch nog niet ingeboekt in het systeem, het is druk) heb ik de camera’s ontvangen, vlak voor de kerst. Eigenlijk wilde ik al direct mijn geld terug maar dat kon niet. Ik moest eerst de camera’s laten opsturen en moest ze dan maar weer terugsturen. Twee maanden heeft it geduurd voordat ik ze binnen had, en dat voor een bestelling van ruim 2.000 euro. Bij binnenkomst heb ik de camera’s weer teruggestuurd. Dan moet je de camera’s eerst aanmelden om terug te sturen. Dan moet je weer bellen. Dan van alle camera’s het Mac adres (lang uniek nummer op de verpakking) opzoeken en telefonisch doorgegeven. Dan wachten tot je teruggebeld wordt. Dan nog een keer van alle camera’s het Mac adres ter verificatie doorgeven. Dan krijg je binnen 5! dagen een retourlabel die je op de doos kan plakken en het product terug kan sturen. Op 24 dec is de doos met camera’s weer ontvangen bij Ring in Tilburg. Begin januari maar eens gebeld waar mijn geld blijft (weer ruim 30 min). Gevraagd of ik later terug kon bellen want de afdeling boekhouding was er niet. Nog een keer gebeld en gezegd dat ik graag mijn geld terug wil. En nu is het 5 feb 2020. En nog geen geld gezien op mijn rekening. Vandaag maar weer eens bellen, maar heb er een hard hoofd in. Ring is onderdeel van Amazon. Dat wordt wat als dit de service wordt van Amazon. Dan zijn er een stuk betere webwinkels!!! En qua camera. Ook daarvoor zijn hele goede/betere alternatieven te koop. Mijn advies, laat Ring links liggen.

I think one star is too many. I am not impressed. It works when it wants to. I have not been able to answer the door with this device. The app never works when the chime rings. I have to get up to see who's at the door. I can only see the footage hours later. It is hardwired and I have a Wi-Fi extender to make sure it would work. It worked for 3 weeks and I've had problems ever since. I called support and was instructed to uninstall then reinstall the app. It worked for 1 week, then the problems persisted. It doesn't make sense to continue to uninstall then reinstall the app. This deletes any footage you may want to keep. Just a waste of money, DO NOT BUY.

Don't ever buy from Ring!
Don't ever buy from Ring! It has almost gone two months and i still haven't received what i paid for. I have contacted them several times. Now they don't even reply to my emails.

A éviter absolument
Malgré les notes négatives j'ai quand même essayé la Ring Doorbell. Je ne pourrai même pas dire si elle fonctionne correctement car impossible de la configurer. Meme en suivant pas a pas leur configuration wifi. Réservation DHCP puis DMZ. Reseau guest, ... rien y fait, elle ne se configure pas. Le numéro de telephone pour l'assistance belgique renvoie un message disant que le correspondant est inaccessible. Heureusement je me suis assuré de pouvoir me faire rembourse l'achat si ca ne me convenait pas. Donc à éviter absolument

Horrible experiences.
First, they remove devices from my account without any notices. All my info are gone. I have registered with the same email address. Second, they can't find my old account info unless I unscrew doorbell to get S/N number. Last, they didn't refund my money when I stopped the service, instead, they charged me. And they ask me to file a dispute from bank. Ridiculous. Horrible experiences!!!

You are required to pay a $30 yearly… if not you're going to have all kinds of problems with your camera
You are required to pay a $30 yearly fee. When purchasing a product, you're told that that is optional. If you don't pay the fee, the upper echelon at ring will begin to play games with your device remotely. For example, instead of receiving the video of an intruder or anyone for that matter - - you just get a notification in writing that someone is at your front door. added, the videos are never timely anyway. I have yet to respond to an individual who is actually at my door when the ring camera is actually picking up activity. Secondly, when my $30 subscription was up, all of a kind of nonsense. It going on with my camera - - definitely coming from the ring crew. Battery drain out really quick and I take forever to recharge more than 18 hours. Blink is so much better.

Doorbell 2 is hit and miss
This doorbell 2 is hit and miss...mostly miss. We never know if it is working or just sleeping. We can go out and push the button on the Ring Doorbell 2 and never know if it is getting through or not. I even located a wifi extender within 6' of the RDB2 and made sure the doorbell was connecting with the extender but that did no good. I even called Ring Customer Service and felt I was imposing upon someones coffee break. I did have a Night Owl door bell and it did the same as the Ring Doorbell so I think this technology just isn't ready for prime time. BTW, the camera is weak as the pictures is NOT 1080p. Poor quality stuff.

Holy cow. I wasted hours of time trying to get this set up. I will NEVER purchase a product from this company again. I’m a tech savvy person but I received a defective product. Horrible products. Horrible customer service. I repeated myself over and over, it’s like they weren’t even listening, and I speak very clearly on the phone. They had to put me on hold for every little question. First woman hung up on me even though I was being very patient and very reasonable as we did the same thing over and over trying to get the lights set up. She did not call me back even though I had given a callback number. I had to call back and do the exact same exercises with the next representative. Remove batteries. Put batteries back in. Go through the set up steps. Oh it’s your wireless connection. Restart your router. Etc. etc. I was once again very patient. He eventually determined it was necessary to send a replacement. 10 days later, the replacement arrived. He sent me the wrong product!!!!! I had purchase a spotlight 2 pack starter kit with a bridge. I received only one light and no bridge. Had to get on the phone with customer service a THIRD time to explain the situation. It was another 30 min phone call because he had to put me on hold for every question. So over it. I’m returning this product and getting a refund. I don’t even want this product anymore. Such a waste of time.

app is horrible
app is horrible. Live view comes up automatically upon motion detection then I get "live view ended"error and manually have to close out the app. I hate this product.
