I don't know if these folks just lie to…
I don't know if these folks just lie to get u off the phone or they don't no what the ....they be talking about. How is that the video gonna be two days ahead of the event. Called them and a week ago they say it's a clinch and working on a week later still two days ahead of event sorry Ring sucks.

don't buy a ring
I ring app shows a bright orange banner across the bottom of the screen saying your videos will be lost in so many days with out a ring plan... I did buy the ring plan however my trial period is not over so I have to see that orange banner everyday till the trial period is over.... it lags so 3 to 5 seconds, i get a spinning blue circle and no video most of the time. I have no issues with out nest. no lag time, no frozen videos, and you don't have to take off the wall just to push the reset button on the back of the door bell, also the ring has the be charged even if hard wired... poor design

Shop Elsewhere. Poor ethics and horrible service
This company and its equipment are horrible. The ring doorbell camera gets fogged up and cloudy most of the time. I can no longer self monitor as fully described as an option in its detailed options page on the web. This is no longer the case without any notification and that they are attempting to charge me a minimum of $10 a month. I refuse to work with the ethics of companies that have evolved to today’s standards. I have turned off my system as it is useless to me at this point because I can’t review anything without paying them money. This is not the product and the terms that I purchased under. I will be trashing this company to anybody and everybody that I possibly can. Thank God for Facebook marketplace because I will have this sold and out of my home with In the week.

Slecht product, klantenservice niet te bereiekn
Slecht product, klantenservice niet te bereiken. Mijn Ring werkt niet doordat ik niet kan inloggen op mijn account (en features dus niet werken). Heb werkelijk via elk kanaal hun proberen te bereiken: mail, facebook, telefoon maar ze zijn te bereiken. Echt schandalig hoe slecht kun klantenservice is. Ik adviseer iedereen om dit nooit te kopen.

My daughter gave me a Ring 2 doorbell…
My daughter gave me a Ring 2 doorbell for Christmas. The picture quality during the day is very good, sucks at night. The motion detection & door bell notifications are useless. By the time you get the app (android) to connect & show who/what is there they are gone. Not worth the $$!

3 years of HELL!!
This device has not worked properly since DAY 1. Troubleshooting multiple times has not fixed the problems and customer service is totally inadequate. Over the course of the past 3 years we were told to try various trouble shooting actions to resolve the issue of the motion alerts going off repeatedly, such as resetting the unit, changing the motion detection settings, dismounting it from the exterior wall and bring it inside and today Customer service advised to place it in a drawer inside the house to see if the cold weather was causing the motion detector to malfunction and go off repeatedly. We did so today and the motion detector went off numerous times inside a closed drawer. She offered to send us a replacement with a 35% out of warranty discount, which we declined. It has now been escalated to a manager for further review. Based on this experience we do not recommend Ring doorbell. It is garbage!

Ring sucks
Ring sucks. After a cam failed, they offered excuses and blame, and wanted to sell me a new camera. I planned to cancel their monitoring service, but without notice they auto billed the credit card. They deducted $8.33 from the refund, on a charge I wasn't informed was made. 👎

I have an Arlo and a Ring camera
I have an Arlo and a Ring camera. Arlo far surpasses the Ring in consistency, reaction time and reliability. Ring wants to charge for videos. Unfortunately, the response time is so poor that paying for a video that does not capture the intrusion appears to be worthless.

Ring doorbell pro
Ring doorbell pro. Piece of garbage. Took hours to enter setup mode on initial install. Has dropped connection MULTIPLE times over the 2 months of use with a ridiculous amount of difficulty getting it to reconnect despite a very strong signal to its location. I have to believe this piece of equipment is made with inferior parts that is creating a continuous dropping of wifi connection. I most definitely would not ever reccomend this product for anyone.

second doorbell from ring 2 that doesn't work
I had a ring doorbell 2, after a year it stopped working; after speaking with the company they agreed to send a second one. I installed and after almost 1 1/2 hours on the phone their person Marie said it is a weak internet connection it is your equipment not ours. Well the ring doorbell is only 15 feet from the chime pro. The door bell cannot be answered from the phone. This is a terrible product. Buy someone else's equipment.

Die Hotline ist eine Katastrophe. Die Leute sprechen kaum deutsch oder englisch. Sie gehen nicht auf Fragen ein, die man stellt und am Ende hat man nur Zeit verschwendet. Diese Erfahrung haben wir jetzt 3x gemacht. Wir würden nie wieder eine Ring kaufen. Genau das habe ich auch erlebt. Online ist es das gleiche. Man wird angeschrieben und dann passiert nix. Nie wieder Ring!

Worst customer service I buy doorbell Thursday pay extra for overnight shipping which the sales person says it will come Friday then no email confirmation no delivery till Monday try to call keep saying we will email you confirmation never get nothing very bad customer service try to cancel no cancel very bad

Diese Erfahrung haben wir jetzt 3x gemacht. Wir würden nie wieder eine Ring kaufen. Unsere Doorbell konnte nicht zum Laufen gebracht werden. Auch ein Profi-Elektriker war vor Ort! Wenn man Zeit und Kosten betrachtet - nie wieder!

We bought a Ring Flood Cam in April…
We bought a Ring Flood Cam in April 2018. This morning the screen was half normal and half pink. Trouble-shooted & called Support & they did more troubleshooting & determined the firmware is bad. It is out of warranty so they've offered a 35% discount to purchase another one. I refuse to buy another Ring product when it can't even make it to 2 years. This is a piece of crap & I've been reading lots of post of the same issues with other customers. This product is clearly poorly made. I expected it to last longer than a little over 1 1/2 yrs. Very dissatisfied, disappointed and feel a bit cheated.

Doesn’t Work in the Cold
This door bell looses its connection to WiFi if the temperature goes below -5 F minus 20 C. So if you live in an area that gets cold in winter don’t bother purchasing it. Customer Service not helpful and wants you out in freezing temperatures to take small screws out to remove & replace the battery. This is not the point of getting these security camera. They shouldn’t be selling it in areas that the camera will not work or at least put a disclaimer on the box.

Easy set up - TERRIBLE customer service if you have an issue
Bought a floodlight camera - easy install - no problems. Like that it alerts me when there is motion and records BUT- there’s approx 20 second delay to view the recording which is annoying if you are wanting to see what triggered the camera. Bought the Home Security system. Set up was again easy. However I must have gotten a bad unit. The main base unit keeps sending notifications (all day every day) about going into “battery backup mode”. Then power supply is ok. Then battery backup. Then not then yes. I don’t want to turn off this notification b/c battery backup mode is only approx 1 days use and then the unit is no longer functional. App doesn’t work during limited use battery backup either. I troubleshot to find out I essentially have a faulty unit. It shouldn’t be in and out of battery backup if it’s plugged into the wall all the time. It was also doing this in junction with WiFi and Cellular backup mode. In WiFi, then cell backup which also has limited functionality. My WiFi is fine. So for it to go in and out of WiFi and cellular backup for no reason doesn’t make sense either. There is not a call in phone number. You can try to email or live chat - however Ring’s automated chat replies and bots must be encountered first which keep sending you to their Q&A pages. One of the sensors also kept “resetting” itself and flashing blue lights multiple times per day. This sensor’s battery died by the third day I had the system. I installed a new CR123A battery and it did the same thing again. So this sensor was clearly faulty too. I sent many emails asking to speak with someone. I finally received one response that someone would reach out within 24 hours on Jan 4th. That never happened. On Jan 16th I went and bought a new system and returned my old one. The new system set up easy - however it created a new account with the same address as my old account. So I have to toggle between 2 of my same addresses to look at my camera system vs the security system. I wanted someone to help me combine these now separate accounts. I also had a paid through account until 9/2020. The new system removed that and gave me a 30 day trial until 2/16/2020. I want my old account back and there’s no way for me to do it or use the app. Finally tried to live chat - after 8 minutes of no response I hung up. Horrendous customer service.

Bought a Ring Video Doorbell 2 + Chime. It worked okay for a year, with the exception being the nuisance of having the battery run out while we were on a trip. Then, I had to change the password for the wifi router. It's been a nightmare since then. The chime didn't work, delivery people didn't get answers to the doorbell (because it didn't work) and they left slips on the door instead of packages. Tried the manual. What a joke! No help. So, after a day of fussing with it I called Customer Service. What a bigger joke! After 28 minutes on the phone, they couldn't figure it out. Said I had to call my ISP and do something with TCP. WHAT???? I'm reasonably tech savvy, but that's just stupid! I'm throwing this Ring thing in the garbage and saying "Good Riddance!"

Erg ontevreden over de performance. Deur bellers kunnen mij niet verstaan en ik hun niet. Ondanks dat de WiFi ontvangst erg goed is. Na contact met de ring help desk in de USA was het advies om mijn Bluetooth uit te zetten op mijn smartphone. Niet handig als je je Bluetooth dagelijks gebruikt in je auto. Bovendien helpt dit ook niet. De helpdesk is skecht te bereiken. Het enige wat goed werkt is de camera. Vaak is het ook heel traag en zijn de bellers al verdwenen voordat je contact hebt op afstand. Kortom mijn advies niet kopen. Zonde van je geld. Waardeloos product.

Batterij werkt maar voor 1/3e van de batterij werkt niet.
Op het hek, 25 meter van het woonhuis, doet de camera het naar behoren. Alle andere functies zijn niet echt gebruiksvriendelijk en er zit een tijdverschil in aanbellen en doorgifte aan de mobiele telefoon. Maar het ergste is de batterij. Hangt nu 6 uur aan de oplader, geeft aan dat hij vol is maar op de telefoon wordt vermeld: 66% vol. Dit betekent dat de batterij in slechte conditie is terwijl ik de Ring pas 3 weken in huis heb. Jammer van het geld.....maar ik ga het oplossen met een andere bel.

Horrible Customer Service, Shipping Delays
Horrible - Purchased an item 17 days ago haven't received yet. Their customer service is terrible, you wont get any help. Better spend money on other good stuff. They are not helpful now what would make me believe they will help me later with the product itself.

Customer Service is a Joke
I would think twice about using Ring. I've had a Doorbell Pro Camera for about two months and it stopped working after about seven days. Customer service was prompt initially to troubleshoot and tell me they would send me a replacement. Now six weeks after my initial call, I still have not received a replacement. I've called Ring customer support six times trying to get my replacement sent to me to no avail. Their customer service is a joke.

Unable to connect to my AT&T router.
Unable to connect to my AT&T router. Spent a total of 4 hours with support and USA support with no resolve of the problem. Advised to change my router password which would require changing all of my other devices. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM.
