My ring door bell was working good @ one point. Then it just started showing white and black videos.
Now when the Doorbell has aged a bit it…
Now when the Doorbell has aged a bit it drains the battery in speed of light.
Talked to the support and they mentioned that the battery can't be replaced.
So now the product is junk and I really do not recommend to buy it.
Since it is not cheap I will look for other options.
If anyone can recommend something else, I'm all ears.

I have a ring device attached to my front door, I also have other cameras above my garage due to the ring at my door does not cover my garage area. My truck was burglarized at 3:17AM. The sheriff's department came out and documented the crime as well as taking fingerprints, long story short I tried sharing this crime caught on my other camera I uploaded onto YouTube, and because the video is not taken or shared by a ring device ring decided to remove that video although they say they are big on crime, I beleive they re only big on selling their product then they are in solving a crime, that's my two cents, and in closing, shame on you Ring for censoring videos that otherwise could help solve a crime, hope that makes you sleep better at night!

No one is monitoring your home. Between the delay in notifications and the slow app, what could be worse? Well try having an open ticket with these scammers for 4+ months and counting, for an explanation and full refund for the monitoring plus service, as to why I was NEVER called to make sure I was ok nor did they ever call the police when my alarm was triggered 3x. I'd be dead if I have to depend on their monitoring service ever again. Other professional alarm companies will call you the instant your alarm is triggered, ask if you're okay than verify your password. And if you don't answer their call, they automatically call the police, like they're supposed to!!

Slow slow connection very frustrating people leave by the time it connects. At times people arrive and leave and ring never captures it. I have a great Wi-Fi signal and when you call customer service they keep blaming it on your signal it's not them they say. It's not them is an excuse on their part. They're going to lose a lot of customers if they don't correct the issue at their end

This is a scam company. After ordering from them, I have not received any purchase confirmation. No reply to my 4 emails even after a month. I had to start a claim from PayPal to which they also haven't responded. I'm waiting for paypal refund. This company must be dead

When contacted the customer support after several hours of troubleshooting came back with answers from Advanced Tech Support about some update on Ring front rending my doorbell pro useless with no ETA.

For the second time GLS have returned the package without attempting delivery. They claim the address was wrong and they did not have a phone number which is a lie. The address is correct. Please contact them and complain and please as a matter of URGENCY send my replacement device with a reputable delivery company like UPS or Fedex twice now they have not even tried to deliver the device

It notifies me too late that someone is at my door. WORST CUSTOMER service support ever. I had NO PLAN but yet was billed for a renewal plan, then refunded only a partial amount.

Possibly the worst product I've ever purchased. We bought the Ring Bell 2 as well as the 3 Ring Security Cameras. A complete waste of money. Our router is very close to the Ring Bell 2. However just as one example: we were driving down the driveway and I noticed a HUGE package on our front porch (a basketball goal). We went back up to bring it inside. I went to see the footage of when it was delivered. No "motion" detection. As we're viewing the recorded tape, one second it's not there, 10 seconds later it just "appears"!! No truck pulling up to the house, no one walking up to the porch to deliver it, no person walking away, no truck driving away. It literally just magically appears on the porch!! Absolutely NO human anywhere to be seen!! Also, we were getting "motion detection" notifications from our security cameras that showed no motion... absolutely nothing... not even something blowing in the wind, yet when my husband walked out the back door, which all three cameras are trained on (one directly within a few feet) he walked right in front of two of the cameras to take out the trash and neither of them picked him up AT ALL. It's a complete mystery to me. We tested all 4 cameras at different motion levels, distance, sensitivity, etc. All the same results. IF they pick up anything at all... it's so delayed, you see nothing! Also... it doesn't keep recording until the motion stops. It only records 30 seconds at a time, then stops for several seconds and IF motion continues, starts another 30 second recording so you miss out on vital recording time! It is so extremely frustrating!!! ALL EQUIPMENT IS BEING RETURNED AFTER GIVING IT AN ENTIRE MONTH OF DAY TO DAY TRIAL PERIOD!!!
The product does not work
The product does not work. It does a better job of catching the clouds passing in front of the sun than people passing in front of the doorbell. My front door faces South and periodically it will catch a person walking AWAY from the door. I can only see the backside of the person, not their face. When I contacted customer service, they had me change the angle of the doorbell, settings on the app, but nothing worked. Then they sent a replacement, Ring 2, and only sent half of the parts. If your door faces South, and you don’t have a straight path to the door, this product fails.

Just spent in excess of 2 hours on the phone with support for them to parrot fashion get me to repeat all fault finding procedures I had already carried out using the instructions from their website.
The rep even asked me to short circuit the terminals on the back of the doorbell. This is fed by a 230 to 24v transformer. I hate to think if the transformer had been installed incorrectly.
I am just going to return the product (Ring Doorbell Pro). It worked for 3 months then failed to connect, and could not be set-up again after multiple hard resets etc.
If you want a decent level of support when thing go wrong I would stay away from Ring products.

Ring Solar bij besteld voor de matige batterij van de ring...ook geen succes.....ook de 2e geen succes , werkt gewoon niet!! Ben nu wel een beetje klaar met de ring!! Hoop geld betaald voor een matig product, uren aan de telefoon gezeten met een bijna niet verstaanbare en slecht Nederlands sprekende klantenservice!! Absoluut geen aanrader!!!!!!
HORRIBLE Customer service; impossible to return anything to them!
I've been using 2 Ring doorbells on my front and back doors for 2.5 years with decent success. We are moving to a new house and for this, I decided to purchase the Ring security system and "spotlight cams." Ordering and shipping to me was fine. Had not problems setting up the security system...a few issues with the cameras, but not terrible. My issue was that when the cameras go offline, there is NO ALERT of any kind to tell me that they are not on! This was a deal killer for me. As such, I removed and repackaged everything up to return to Ring inside of my return window. It's now been 2 weeks of phone calls, emails, broken promise after broken promise to get a simple Ground shipping label to return the order. They somehow can't figure out how to send a label that will let me return their products. (It as to be sent ground as they have lithium batteries.) As I write this, I've been on hold for 36 minutes waiting for a "supervisor" to come on the line.
DO NOT expect to be able to return a product purchased from Ring....Great product idea...marginal product execution....HORRIBLE customer service.
Complete garbage
Complete garbage! On a 500mbps connection, this dumb thing Alerts me after movement. On live view, it takes minutes to connect. This happens on all my devices! What a waste of time and money.
Ring is a big headache
I hope to save someone else from my experience. After buying a Ring bundle from Cosco, I decided to use the professioanl install Ring recommended. They recommended hellotech. I called and made an appointment for an install. A technician arrived ontime and installed my system. However, not all my motion detectors and cameras show up on the device list. I called Ring to get help and the first thing they told me was that they NO LONGER RECOMMEND HELLOTECH. But I was given their name to call for an install less than a week ago!! I am now in a mess trying to get all components properly installed and online. Save yourself some grief and go with another system.

Abysmally slow order line
I called Ring to ask a few pre-sales questions, and got off the phone in a matter of just a few minutes. They told me that I would save 10% by ordering directly through them. So, after doing a bit of checking online, I finalized what I wanted to order. I then called Ring back, rather than ordering online, so I could save the 10%. It took about an hour and 10 minutes to place a simple order of 4 items with the lady on the phone. She was nice enough, but the process took absolutely forever. Finally, after she read me my billing and shipping addresses (which are different), I confirmed that everything was correct, I gave my credit card information, and the order was placed.
Within a couple minutes, I received an email confirmation for my order. Both the shipping and billing addresses were incorrect, so I had to call Ring back. That time, it took 15 minutes on the phone to get the shipping address fixed. At this point, I have no idea whether it's going to ship to the correct address or not.
I hope the product is amazing, because I dread the thought of having to speak to someone at that company again if I need to return my order for any reason.
