I wish i could put 0 starts . Stoped working right after the warranty expired . I was told by 3 diffrent agants oh no we must reset it and such. Nothing helped 2 days later and seven phone calls . Being hung up on . I will never purchase anything from these goddamn clowns again. They should all be put in prison as criminals that is what they are. Cant even give me a straight anwser from india or whereever the hell the people work, asking me oh what time zone are you in. This is pathetic.

Here’s another one starer. Indignant chat reps were no help at all. Insane that the chat app has 4pt font and requires a direct to server email code before they can help you... wait, did I say “help” you? My bad. Unit became sluggish and then dropped motion detection all together. The trill is gone. Ring, if you’re reading this, try another chat service and verification process.
Ring doorbell 👎
Price at first seemed ok but once you buy the product it goes down hill. I mounted the camera not 10 feet from my WiFi router. That was to much for it even though there’s a tv further away plus I can go to my shop which is 40 ft away and play music so it’s not the WiFi strength. So I bought the chime router enhancer and placed it about half way between router and the bell. That made very little difference, but at least it functioned well enough. Went on vacation and was getting alerts all the time all night. Turns out bugs can set this thing off also rain, leaves, and smoke. Their suggestion, adjust the field to a smaller area. Why have it then? So now I have been notified that I need to buy a monitoring program from them if I want to be able to save the videos. Also their help is really bad except for a few of them of course. My suggestion is don’t buy these products. I gave it one star because they don’t have any sub ratings.

My doorbell has never worked properly since I purchased it I've contacted hive on line and they avoid returning my messages this has happened now with two different people I sent them a message last week still waiting for a response very disappointed with them and there product 🤷🏻♂️☹️😡
Caution Not so Good
Caution: "Package of 10 devices at a location" is not true. Not location only under one email account. My wife had some Ring cameras and I attempted to add more cameras under my email as we lived at one location. Devices were not covered under their plan. I am not paying for two plans for one location. Second, do not ever change your router or you will need to reprogram all of your devices again. Not so user-friendly to take all your mounded devices off to push the reset button. It's a mess and not worth the trouble. Final thought, my parking lot camera only lasted 2 years.
Ring Türklingel lohnt sich nicht mehr.
Anfangs könnte man den Paketboten oder Gäste im Live-View Modus sehen und demjenigen eine Nachricht zukommen lassen.
Das Unternehmen ist zunehmend davon beherrscht Abo-Verträge abzuschließen. Das führt dazu dass in der Reaktion auf die Klingel zwei Menuepunkte zusätzlich eingebaut wurden die zusätzliche Zeit beanspruchen bis man in den Live-View Modus kommt. Die Gäste oder der Paketbote ist dann regelmäßig schon weg. Dazu kommt dass der Server viel zu langsam ist. Teilweise kommt das Klingelgeräusch erst 30sek später auf dem Smartphone (IPhone) an.
Mit der Einschränkung der (bezahlten) Funktion und dem lahmen Server ist aus Ring nur eine langsame einfache Türklingel geworden. Und die kann man billiger und besser haben. Ein Abo für eine Speicherung der Ereignisse in der Cloud werde ich nicht abschließen. Was nützen mir Bilder vom Paketboten der mit dem Paket wieder gegangen ist.
This product is horrible
This product is horrible. Bought 14 camaras (wireless) and 3 ring doorbells. After spending 3k my camaras DO NOT work. Purchased thru HSN. They advertise battery has a 6 month life span. Not even 2 days. Customer service is horrible. Don’t even bother. They give you the run around about troubleshooting the camaras. They give you all kinds of excuses which take you back to square one. They don’t have technicians to help. Last call today a representative in the Philippines told me to call ATT/amazon or Comcast for tech support. My last resort was to buy a solar panel for an additional 50.00. I now have to buy 13 additional panels. It’s either lose 3k or spend another 2k. It gave the battery a little more life but still requires additional cost/ installation and not 100%. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and don’t make same mistake I did. I Read reviews after the fact. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. LOTS OF MUCH BETTER OPTIONS OUT THERE. HORRIBLE experience. Between cámaras and installation and now additional cost I’ll be at a range of close to 7k. By the way. I bought 4 for myself and had a few installed at my mothers house. I also bought a couple for my sisters. I thought I was giving my sisters a great gift. Security!

Ring does not work properly
Have the ring and it’s not great at all. MAny times it doesn’t record when someone comes to my house but it will record when they leave. When I get an alert that someone is at me door, I cannot even see it immediately. It takes About a minute-3 minutes to upload. At that point they could have broken in, robbed the house and left!! Would not recommend or buy another one. Me dad has the NEST which seems to be much much better - so looking into that one.
Ring products are slow responders
All my Ring products have trouble with connecting to WiFi and when you tell them about it they say it is the WiFi signal. Interestingly though NONE of the other devices connected to my WiFi have a problem connecting or getting a strong signal. Also, when my doorbell rings, by the time Ring connects me the person is gone! This happens consistently every single time the doorbell rings. I find it interesting that my weekly milk deliveries are NEVER recorded. Finally when I just want to look at my camera when I hear or see something suspicious by the time it connects the suspicious sound has stopped. I am very sorry I selected Ring and wouldn’t recommend it to others. If they would give me my money back I would take it in a heartbeat and gladly return all the devices I purchased.
Very Disappointed
I must add my voice to the negative reviews. From the time someone rings the bell to the time it comes up on the phone the person is gone. Sometimes the video doesn’t come up at all. So very disappointed.

Tech support wasted my time for two weeks.I then couldn't return to Best buy.Night vision never worked! Motion range is so short, a burgler
could dance a jig in front of it and you would never know !! I would never recommend this product to anyone ! They want return product, and if they do you will never get your credit back ! Good bye 400.00 dollars !!!

NOT ALL representatives are knowledgeable and efficient, nor do they possess professionalism. While speaking with representative, and realizing she was not making ANY effort to assist me with issue of 'settings,' she blatantly says, "I'm not at your house, I don't know." I politely tell her, "I'll figure it out myself." I hang up the phone, wait a few minutes to check email for 'feedback' from Ring support; email never came, which tells me representative is responsible for sending email so he/she can be evaluated..Hmmmmm; NOT GOOD

Terrible customer service! I had been very happy with the performance of my ring camera until I changed my number. I had a two factor security code and due to that I am no longer able to access my account. I’ve called and chatted with them multiple times and the matter has not been resolved. There was an incident at my home and I need to provide this evidence but due to the lack of help from Ring I have not been able to. So extremely disappointed. Christina
Horrendous experience returning Ring devices
We just spent over an hour on the phone w/Ring, as well as trying chat online, in order to return three spotlights that simply will not work in this rural area. We were hung up on, disconnected via the chat twice, and additionally lied too (by Briana via online chat) and told that we had to pay full shipping to return the products. The website clearly states that we will pay simply a 5 dollar flat fee to return. Finally, after an hour of talking on the phone and simultaneously trying to chat online to get this resolved they switched us to a supervisor who assured us we would be receiving a return label with no fees. We shall see. We are still waiting for it. In addition, when we received the 3 spotlights there was no receipt in the box. When we tried to log into our account online they acted like our shipping order number didn't exist. They clearly have stall tactics to avoid paying return shipping. Horrendous customer service - they acted like they had no idea what we had ordered or who we were even though they have all of our information online. Returning a product that we have had approximately one week and are unable to use should be simple and stress free. They simply are trying to avoid paying return shipping fees. We will never buy a Ring product after this experience.

I just spent over $1,000 on this garbage and right out of the box it doesn't work... customer service can't fix it they need me to give them my credit card number so that they can send me a new one but their system can accept my credit card number they can't fix any of their problems their entire system staff and service is complete junk... I will never buy anything from this garbage company again and neither should you
Unreliable junk
Unreliable junk! I’ve had my floodlight camera and the subscription for several months now and I’m amazed at how many times I’ve been let down by this device. The automatic recordings are lagging, hitching, blacking out for long periods of time or sometimes you go back to see event history and you get nothing but a black screen. When I use live view mode it often takes way too long to load and I give up or when it loads it’s a so laggy and hitching that you cant see what’s going on. I’m so disappointed and shocked at how garbage this is. I’m not renewing my subscription and I’m never buying a ring product again. My router is even 8 feet from the camera and often takes way too long to load
Never works when you need it to.
It never works in time to answer your doorbell when somebody Is at your door. And then to top it off ring is supposed to be for crime and suspicious people and you get nothing but alerts about lost pets. I will never buy another ring product again nor would I ever recommend them.

We HATE our Ring Doorbell 2,nothing but issues. Customer help ALWAYS blames our wifi but the other 4 wifi devices we use work flawless...nest,generac generator, sprinkler system, comcast stream, etc. We are away from the house and customer service informs us they can not help us. We even spent$ on the newest devices and we still have issues. Just like my last review, I get either butt shots or driving away in a vehicle before the device decides to spin up to functioning mode. They claim their devices are the 1st line of defenses. Really? We can't even speak to a customer service to log a fomal complaint. Seriously, don't listen to their ads, the devices do not work like they claim and meanwhile you are out a chunk of change. Can I say HEADACHE...

Hear ring go off. Get on phone. Takes 3-5 minutes before you see what’s happening. No way to respond to caller.

Will I have to say senses company is sold the quality is very very poor. When this company was owned previously I invested a lot of money and purchased approximately 9 cameras. Like today having problems I have tried to get support for about 2 hours. They keep asking me to leave my email address and it States that it's an Invalid email address however these guys market me through that Email address constantly. I think people need to take a better look and find a company that takes customer service and quality control more seriously. After all it is your safety and your security that's at risk

Was doing fine after finally got help from support. Later on 9/11/19 it went off line. Talked to support again after a week of trying to connect on my own. NADA! After an hour, they told me my password can't have a special character. They received communication on this awhile ago. Thanks for sharing! Ugh! Changed password through Cox and STILL NOTHING! UGH! Losing too much time from my life with BS internet wifi crap!

I bought 3 ring devices and when I left town 2 of them went off line. I had to get a freind in to reset it with much inconvenience. Poor setup
The app is extremely slow
The app is extremely slow. My bell rings and by the time I can answer it's too late, and it freezes up practically everytime I try to view live feed. It's not just my phone but my family has the same issue. Thought I would wait before picking a plan just to see how the bell works on its own... complete waste. Now I'm thinking get a plan so that I can access the feed I couldn't access bc the app keeps freezing- cant even do that bc the purchase plan menu doesn't load through the app nor my online acct... simply frustrating. Surely will not make anymore purchases.

I would not buy a ring product again. customer service is horrible. I spend hours on the phone with no results. It does not capture all events. Do yourself a favor buy a Nest or Arlo better quality.
