Ich verstehe nicht, weshalb ich ein Produkt kaufe und dann ein teures Abo abschließen muss. Das wäre ja, als ob ich ein Auto kaufe und noch ein monatliches Abo abschließen muss damit ich das Auto vollumfänglich benutzen kann. Würde mich nicht nochmal für dieses Produkt entscheiden!!

Ring / Amazon using foreign people who speak "very good English" to not provide reasonable common sense customer service! Ring support wants me to repeatedly climb up an extension ladder even though I have a painful replaced hip. The spotlight has the very common odd colors at night even after resetting which is a common failure! Many resets completed!

We've had a hardwired video doorbell for two years. Within the first year, the glass lens cover shattered... presumably due to expansion from heat.
We replaced the doorbell and now the second one has just experienced another glass issue - the glass has fallen out. The adhesive behind the glass is no longer adhesive and so the glass has fallen away.
Contacted Ring support and they wouldn't do anything as apparently it is considered damage, even though the glass is intact. They won't even offer any advice about what sort of adhesive to use if we wanted to fix the thing. It's like talking to a robot.
The worst customer service I've ever encountered.

RING Customer Care: Cataclysmic Failure!
I just spent 2 hours 3 minutes with RING Customer Care - a department and management system that - IMHO and experience - does not care about customers in any demonstrable way.
What was my goal in making contact with RING Customer Care? Change the payment method. It should have taken no more than 2-3 minutes, tops.
I finished the call, finally, feeling abused - neglected - ignored - generally getting the message that RING management systems care about money & market share, NOT customers.
One of the great causal factors is the absence of CSR’s with competency in Americanese. Thereafter, it goes downhill.
Customer care competency is all but nonexistent.

Eine schlimmere Katastrophe habe ich noch nicht gesehen. Es ist unmöglich sich zu registrieren. Man soll ständig Code eingeben. Aber jede Mal wenn man Code nachschauen und zur App navigiert, fliegt man raus. Dann kommt: Man soll 10 min warten da zu viele Anmeldeversuche. Wir schmeißen das Gerät weg. Wie soll damit eine ältere Person zurechtkommen? Die Entwickler sollten sich schämen!

How Ring likes to Steal and lie
My family called Ring to see what camara to buy for the outside and the representative told me to buy the Ring outdoor cam plus and then once we buy this that they would send a technician to hard wire the camara to my home. This tec came to my home and said I had to pay $193.49, and I did. Then he said we do not hard wire camaras to home and said he wrote a complaint to the company, and no one's cares. Ring is blaming On-Tech Smart Services and On-tec smart services is blaming Ring. One of Rings customer service said, If On-Tec Smart Services was so honest why did the tec take your money. The tec put in 2 screws and that was his part in installation that cost me money that Ring will not give back. The tec ask me to sign to say he was here. Ring LLC the company are thieves and if the BBB would fine this company for illegal practice this would stop them from lying and stealing people's money. Ring Kamera Plus verliert ständig den Netzwerkkontakt. Manchmal über Stunden. Man kann dann nur manuell versuchen die Kamera wieder zu aktivieren. Support führt nur eigene Protokolle durch und will nicht akzeptieren, dass die Kamera defekt ist.
Absoluter Fehlkauf.

Originally purchased the Ring doorbell plus in April. It only ever worked intermittently and then stopped completely (connected to WiFi, then dropped the connection). Contacted Ring for a refund. Refused because it was beyond 30 days. Sent to a replacement on Aug 22 that I fitted on the 23rd. Exactly the same issue. Contacted Ring for a refund because it was within the 30 day warranty but according to them, it isn't a NEW item, it's a REPLACEMENT so no, you can't have a refund. But they offered to send a 3rd unit out. I said it it doesn't work, will yousend a 4th, 5th, 20th until one works? Basically the answer was yes we will but you can't have a refund.

I didn't know after spending 130 to by one camera that they shut your video down unless after3 months unless you start paying them 19.95 a month . the real thief is not the one on camera , its the company making ring cameras . I'm buying dude camera instead because there is no hidden cost and I can look over my video when I need to
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH SUPPORT
I waited 30 minutes just to not get an explanation for my question.
My old Ring doorbell broke, so I put in a request to replace it under the warranty I pay for. I initiated the process 30 days ago and still have not received the replacement. I recently received an email asking me to send in my old doorbell, which seemed odd since I hadn't received the replacement yet. This was my original question, so I called support to see what was going on and why it's taking so long.
It took 15 minutes to get to a rep, and then I was put on hold for another 20. When the rep finally got back on the phone, she had a very strong accent that was difficult to understand. She then explained that my request to replace my doorbell had not been fulfilled yet. I am not joking—this was her entire response to my question. Nothing to address why I received the email before the replacement, or for the delay. She then proceeded to say that I should not send my doorbell back until I receive the replacement—a big "duh!" She also stated it would be 5–7 business days once the shipping company receives the device from Ring, but had no idea when that would be.
I wish I was making this up. What a pleasant experience. I'm buying a traditional doorbell next.
An exceptionally poor service.
Really, really poor service. I phoned the call centre with a faulty camera. After going through the script, we agreed it was faulty and a replacement would be sent. I was then told that there were no black cameras in stock and no idea when more would be coming. So I could have one but they had no idea when it might arrive. To make it more annoying, the customer service rep (and then the manager) were clearly not empowered to help in any way and said there was no way of complaining or escalating to anywhere else.
So here I am, waiting for a replacement camera with no idea when it will arrive, paying a subscription whilst Amazon have black ring cameras that could be delivered tomorrow.
A real 3rd world experience.
Horrendous customer service
Horrendous customer service. Call center employees are not fluent in English, do not understand you, and repeat themselves with irrelevant information that solves no problems. They sent me refurbished products when I bought them new and it’s impossible to get them replaced with new ones.

And update Angelica on live chat just left the chat as i pointed out that on the app it states other ways to gain but its broke and doesn't work its just a company who wants your money.
Frustrating Experience with RING Customer Service
I lost my phone and was trying to retrieve my Ring account on my new device, but I was asked to provide identification that should already be on file. All my account information was available; however, customer service did not handle it properly, causing unnecessary delays. I also requested a refund during this process, which has not been processed. I expected a smoother experience, especially when dealing with sensitive security and privacy information. I hope Ring can improve its verification, support, and refund processes to assist customers in situations like mine.
BEWARE PEOPLE, RING was sued due to inadequate security protections that enabled hackers to take control of customer accounts, identification, and devices.
RING IS A BAD INVESTMENT

In today’s tech-savvy world, children already know how to bypass in-house cameras. As an IT security expert, I believe it’s time for people to vote with their feet and stop buying Ring products altogether. It’s shockingly easy to get around every supposed safeguard Ring claims to provide. In my opinion, Ring has become one of the worst pieces of “security” equipment on the market—whether for protecting the inside or the outside of your property.

Hi , Ring Doorbell ist nicht zu Empfehlen Akku ist sehr schnell leer, Benachrichtigungen kommen meist 1-2 Minuten später......da ist der Besucher oder Paketdienst schon weg.
Wlan ist an dieser Stelle hervorragend aber Ringdoorbell funktioniert trotzdem nicht richtig. Sie ist mehr offline wie online .

I have had Wi-Fi connectivity issues from day one. Ring blames my Internet so I increased my speed. Nope. Ring told me I needed extenders. I tried third-party extenders, but there was no change. I tried the official extenders from my Internet provider. I had Wi-Fi reception at an excellent rate a block away for every device, but Ring. Ring still tells me I have bad Wi-Fi. They then tell me that the only extender that works with Ring is theirs. I need to have a chime pro for their doorbell to work. My Internet provider tells me that is completely wrong. I don’t really care if there’s a chime, I just wanna know if somebody is at my door trying to break in.

Ring has had my order in process for a month. When I called them to cancel, they advised me it can’t be cancelled because it’s being processed and arrives tomorrow. They provided a UPS tracking number that UPS says doesn’t exist. Be very careful ordering from them online.
