Extremely Disappointing Customer…
Extremely Disappointing Customer Service Experience I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Ring's customer service, and it was, without a doubt, one of the worst customer service interactions I've ever had. From the outset, it was clear that the representatives were either poorly trained or simply uninterested in resolving my issue. Firstly, the wait times were excessively long, and when I finally got through to a representative, they seemed more interested in reading from a script than actually listening to my problem. It felt like I was talking to a robot rather than a human being. The lack of empathy and understanding was astounding. Moreover, the solutions offered were either irrelevant or completely ineffective. I had to explain my issue multiple times to different representatives, as if there was no communication or record-keeping on their end. This lack of coordination only added to my frustration. To make matters worse, follow-up was non-existent. I was promised callbacks and updates that never happened, leaving me in the dark about the status of my issue. It seems like once they get you off the phone, you're no longer their concern. Overall, Ring's customer service is a glaring weak spot in their business model. If they want to maintain customer loyalty, they need to seriously overhaul their support system. Until then, I would advise potential customers to be wary of the kind of support they can expect if something goes wrong.

Deceptive marketing
Deceptive marketing. Make you think you get professional monitoring with slick verbage to get pay double. Then find out that you really need to pay triple ($300/year) for “professional” monitoring that was $100 last year. Slick and slimy. Customer service was unable to get a flood camera working after sending me a useless Eero wifi extender (which it isn’t), returned it but never got a refund. Their customer service is friendly but clueless. Totally dissatisfied.

Zeer slechte ervaring
Wat ging er mis? Is de vraag die gesteld wordt, nou wat gaat er überhaupt goed? Camera’s die stuk zijn, continu wordt beloofd dat er nieuwe gestuurd wordt. We wachten al 8 weken en abonnement geld innen ze wel. En dan hebben we nog niks gezegd over de klantenservice. Continu niks kunnen betekenen.

Ring deurbel geeft melding pas minuten later!!! Leuk als je video wilt terugkijken. Contact met service over vertragende meldingen is niet mogelijk. 1 deurbel en twee tuincameras, kost je 100 euro per jaar om de filmpjes terug te zien. Als er iets niet goed is, is niemand te bereiken. Dus ja,....

Wat een verschrikkelijk bedrijf
Wat een verschrikkelijk bedrijf. Ze sturen een defecte ring beveiligingscamera op, vervolgens is de camera niet meer op voorraad en kan ik niet mijn geld terug krijgen en kunnen ze ook geen nieuwe opsturen.

DO NOT BUY A RING! My experience with Ring has been a complete nightmare. Over the past three months, I've spoken to five different Ring representatives, including two supervisors, regarding ongoing issues. One supervisor even thanked me for bringing my concerns to their attention and assured me they would address the problem. To test their knowledge and sincerity, I followed up by asking, "Do you know who I am?" The supervisor claimed, "Yes, I have your file open now." I then asked them to verify my name since they supposedly had my file open. The "supervisor" immediately hung up. This demonstrated a clear lack of honesty and a complete absence of intent to follow through on their promises. Ring's customer service call center is located in the Philippines. While I have nothing against the Philippines, the language barrier has been a significant obstacle. I've spent hours on the phone with representatives who, despite potentially being intelligent, come across as ignorant due to their difficulty understanding English. For example, they struggled to understand the term "Continuous Recording Feature." Beyond the terrible customer service, the product quality is also questionable. I've purchased five Ring cameras, and two of them have stopped working after only a few months. Ring cameras are a great concept, but I highly recommend finding a better product with better service. I chose Ring solely because of their brand awareness without doing my own research. Learn from my mistake: do your research and avoid Ring! Good luck!

Senior Discount Help!
I have looked at some posts on the Ring community page. and cannot find any discounts for seniors. I have been a Ring customer for over 12 years. Many seniors need help and are on fixed income. Family family members watch their parent while at work because our healthcare plans are failing. I have been a Ring customer for over 12 years. I have helped many first responders with crime caught on my cameras. Ring has not responded to the community forums asking for senior discounts. In the past I have recommended Ring to many seniors in my community. I may sell all my cameras and go with another company unless they help us. I am one of those seniors now on a fixed income.

Utter rubbish
Utter rubbish, can’t pick up anyone walking directly to the door bell, despite having the camera on max sensitivity and widest capture view etc etc etc. Ring must know this too! DO NOT BUY!

AFTER ROBBERY!!!
I purchased two Ring cameras, four batteries, and two solar panels to secure my front yard. I noticed that my camera had been missing some actions, but I chose to ignore it, which was my biggest mistake until I was robbed two days ago. The first thing I did was check my cameras to prove the incident to the insurance company and the police department. Unfortunately, my Ring camera didn’t capture the incident that took place over a 10-minute period in my front yard at 2 AM. They stole my car lights, including my featured lights from my Ford Bronco, and likely spent at least 10 to 15 minutes disconnecting them from my car. My camera didn’t capture anything. I’ve checked with the representatives, and it seemed like there were no disconnections in my internet or any malfunctioning in my camera. So, my camera chose not to capture the only incident that happened. I called RING and explained everything. They couldn’t find any reason or provide any proof that this would happen. They even mentioned in their terms of service agreements that they don’t guarantee to capture reactions. I’ve been a good-paying, subscribed customer for over a year with this company, and I found this very disrespectful. I’ve immediately put down all my cameras and started installing another. These cameras don’t work properly! Their night vision is very poor, and their motion sensors are malfunctioning very often. As a security camera, RING does not keep to its promises to secure your house. I hope my feedback helps others avoid the same problem I did. This was supposed to be a good option, but it was very cheap and useless. Please consider my feedback! I will make sure to share this feedback everywhere I can, as a 13 years online marketer who works with brand like Cola and knows what todo, until everyone hears and takes action about this brand and stops trusting them. Or maybe they will hear and take “some action”—that won’t be guaranteed either!!

Charged me double for subscription and refused to give refund …
I moved house took my cameras and alarm system with me. Changed my address on my dashboard then set up my equipment at my new address. I pay the annual subscription for monitoring and recording. Last week found they were charging me two subscriptions so paid for my old address as well as my new address. I rang them and they were terrible. Told me they were entitled to charge me for both addresses as apparently even though I changed my address I didn’t call them to say I no longer lived there. This despite no signals from any equipment at my old address and the registered cameras were transmitting from my new address. They refused to let me make a formal complaint and refused to give me their physical address so I was unable to complain in writing. Disgraceful service absolutely appalling company.

Shocked by the lack of Customer Service
I'm very shocked by the lack of Customer Service at Ring. I have two cameras on my house and have been charged 2 x Basic Accounts since the start, when I should have been on the Standard Account to cover both at one location. I contacted Ring but they couldn't care less that they've been overcharging me for years. No other company in the UK would get away with this. Companies would normally make sure you're on the most appropriate service, but not Ring.

Ik raad de Ring camera niemand aan.je bent verplicht om en abonnement te nemen want anders zie je helemaal niets. Zelfs de camera's van de action zijn beter in gebruik. Waardeloos dat je op je eigen camera's geen opnames kan terug kijken van een uur geleden. WAARDELOOS.

Ring intercom
De Ring intercom geïnstalleerd in woning binnen appartementencomplex (waar 'ie voor bedoeld is). Om de finale test uit te voeren moet je volgens de instructies met je mobiel naar de ingang beneden gaan. Daar click je in de Ring-app op "I'm downstairs", belt bij jezelf aan, bevestigt dat in de app en dan zou een welkomstboodschap moeten volgen. Als e.e.a. niet lukt, moet je checken dat je beneden, naast GSM databereik, een goede wifi-verbinding hebt. Dus je woont bv op de 10e in een betonnen flat en zou dan op de BG nog een wifi-verbinding met je router 10-hoog moeten hebben(!?). Onzinnig natuurlijk, test/activering mislukt, onbruikbaar ding dus. tenzij je bij de ingang woont ms...

Verscheidene deurbellen van Ring gehad
Verscheidene deurbellen van Ring gehad. Gaan niet lang mee. Bij de eerste viel de drukknop er uit. De 2de was de print na 2 jaar kapot. De 3de heb ik nu in gebruik als deze stuk gaat word het zeker geen Ring meer.

Just discovered this new ring scam . Ive been a ring customer since 2018 and have 3 caneras i had the protection plan in my account with covered all devices . So get this. For some reason the subscription didn't go through the automatic prepaid on my credit card the first 3 times . But it went through a couple days later. Fast forward 6 months later when one of my devices malfunctioned I was told. My protection plan was cut because the subscription didn't go through a couple times ...can you believe this. No fault of mine that the payment didn't go through . But a nice was to cut the protection plan In a sketchy way. It's like saying ur car payment was a few days late. So now it doesn't have warranty .. so just for this sneaky moves . I'm gonna dump ring and get another camera maybe nest . Brutal business practices

Belabberde service, inlogprobleem
Om de maand ongeveer, als ik de app open op een pc, moet ik terug inloggen. Maar daarbij zou een code worden teruggestuurd via telefoon. Die code komt niet, (niet de eerste maal). Op een andere manier, zoals ze voorstellen, werken helemaal niet.

Awful customer service
Awful customer service, you have to jump through thousands of hoops and ridiculous technical support questions where they don't listen so you go around in circles to finally receive a replacement product which ALSO doesn't work! So now I'm having to call them again to practically beg them to understand and to replace both of the faulty ring doorbells. At this point they've wasted so much of my time and energy, as well as the faulty Ring app that I feel like chucking them both in the bin and saying to forget it and not sending them back to them to recycle. I hope they do actually refund me though since my camera was under warranty and was obviously confirmed to be faulty. The "troubleshooting" team don't actually care or know about fixing anything, they just fill out forms.

Information Censorship
The Ring product has a “neighbors” community function which I thought could be useful until I realize it’s heavily censored. I posted an illegal activity going on in my neighborhood and it was denied. So that means that other posts are being denied by some corporate stooge. So the real state of affairs in your neighborhood is manipulated -possibly giving people a dangerous false sense of security. I fully support a class action lawsuit against ring and their censorship of the neighbors function. It should be completely open or completely removed.
