Bought 4 plug in external cameras and I…
Bought 4 plug in external cameras and I am bitterly disappointed. Firstly the cameras don't rotate round far enough to cover my front door when on vertical wall, secondly they are not really connecting to my WiFi, even though I've had my speeds checked.

I recently purchased 2 new ring cam…
I recently purchased 2 new ring cam from local Argos shop 30/04/25 and fitted one of them on the following day and it says they are fully charged and no need to charge them . So after two days I got a message to recharge the battery as the cam will not show u the alerts and video to save the power . After we 12 hr of charging the light was still amber / green , it taken 24 for a full recharge to happen . I called into the customer services which couldn’t help as I was at work,I then said I can take them back and get a replacement as it was still in the 28 days return policy. She said you don’t need to do that as we can resolve it Before then and just to call in once I was at home ,I called them back again and spent 38 minutes talking to a fellow who just wasted my time going through everything thing I done prior . For him to say take it back to the shop. For a replacement. What’s the point of me calling in when they can’t resolve or replace at the time of the call . Now I have go to the shop and just do what I said in the first place and just return it back to the shop for a replacement or wait 30 days and they will get it authorised by there manger to send a replacement .absolutely a waste of time calling in if you ask me

Wat een slecht bedrijf zeg!
Wat een slecht bedrijf zeg! Al jaren klant, van rekening gewijzigd en vergeten aan te passen en zonder dat je een waarschuwing krijgt zeggen ze gewoon je abonnement op en ben je al je beeldmateriaal kwijt van 4 camera's. En dan bieden ze ter compensatie een tientje korting op je volgende abonnement aan.

My husband and I have had Ring for several years but now he has passed away. The entire account is under his email and phone, both of which are also now dead and gone. I don’t have his password and needed to switch the account to me but I am frustrated. I spent two hours trying to make these idiots understand the situation but their collective room temp IQ prevents that apparently. I finally lost my patience and will now be researching alternatives. Ring customer service is beyond hideous and I do not recommend this company. Edit a few months later: I finally have my Ring system under my name and working reasonably well. It took a succinct letter written to the Better Business Bureau and several phone calls but I finally got a knowledgeable gentleman with a brain who was able to walk me through it all. It should have been easier but at least it works now.

Battery that lasts less than 2 weeks
Battery that lasts less than 2 weeks! Doesnt pick up someone stood at the front door, delayed when someone rings the bell so you miss it and goes off 80+ times an hour randomly for no reason at all. Absolutely useless!

Samtlige devices taber forbindelse konstatnt
Samtlige devices (kameraer og chimney) mister kontant forbindelse. Vi har helt opgivet at få chimney til at virke, og kameraerne virker sporadisk. Vil anbefale en anden løsning.

Die Verbindung zwischen Türklingel und App ist nicht mehr zu erreichen. Alle Versuche sind gescheitert. Eine Hilfe durch das Unternehmen scheitert wegen Vorschriften und Blockaden. Angeblich ist das Gerät auf eine andere Mailadresse angemeldet. Diese Mailadresse wird aber nicht genannt wegen Datenschutz oder anderes. Man gibt 250 € aus und erhält einen solchen Unsinn. Finger weg von diesen Leuten in Amerika.

Beware of the sales! I think they are a scam to get rid of old stock! I was really happy with Ring until I ordered a double pack Spotlight Canera Plus wired in the sales. They were slightly reduced and thought I was getting a bargain. A few days later I then received two Spotlight Cameras Plus Battery with a two hardwired kits for cameras. This is not what I ordered or was on the invoice. On the invoice it said Spotlight cameras plus wired. I contacted ring customer support and they said they were out of stock of the spotlight cameras plus wired so they sent me these and they would work with hardwired kits for the cameras. I explained that was not what I had ordered. They said they would still work as hard wired but for some reason they were missing the point and just wanted me to have the alternatives. I then explained it was false advertising and I wanted to return these items. They sent me a return label and now I have to send the cameras and kits back to them. They didn’t take the time to inform me they were out of stock of what I had ordered and decided to send me aalterntuve workaround which I throught was way out of order.

Ring Kamera außen. Selbst ein Stern ist zuviel
Selbst ein Stern ist zuviel. Die 40 min am Telefon mit dem Kundenservice, war eine hin halte Taktik und es war immer der selbe Ablauf. Eine Kamera die sich nicht mehr verbinden lässt zu Reklamieren. Für mich ist der Name Ring Kamera sofort ein Tabu. Wie man da als Kunde vorgeführt wird, ist die reinste verblödung. Für mich nie wieder.

Useless without a subscription
They are basically forcing you to buy a subscription, if you don't you only get vibration notifications on your phone, so i order not miss it you have to be holding you phone, ridiculous!... it's a basic function that you phone rings at least!... and it doesn't even ring on chime a bunch of times.

Internal camera recording after a software update even though set to not record, contacted support who advised they would get back to me, no response, contacted again & told it would be investigated, contacted by account management stating I had concerns about account access, advised that was no the case & he closed the support ticket saying he could not transfer it, truly terrible service

WOW! but not ain a good way
Following the death of my dad I found it impossible to get his ring.com account closed. There is NO bereavement process, NO complaints process and there was NO help from ring. Accounts are left open permanently if you cant access the account belonging to the person passing away, for example my dad had 2FA so OTT texts were going to a sky mobile made inactive following his death. I was hitting brick wall after brick wall eventually asking Amazon as the parent company for help. They kindly got in touch with Ring in California and after many emails I have been told they wont introduce a complaints or senior customer relations team, they wont update their website with details of what to do following a bereavement of the account holder and they will now take 6 months to close the account despite me sending copies of the death certificate. I had to let you know that Ring credited me with £2.50 compensation for my 'inconvenience' two... pound... fifty! that was for two months free subscription, it covers half of one month.

Ring was Overpriced, Overhyped, and Completely Useless! I fell into Ring’s deceptive marketing trap and wasted €300 on the Ring Video Doorbell Pro, only to realize that their products are nothing but overpriced junk. I’m beyond furious and deeply disappointed. From the start, nothing worked properly. Despite upgrading my internet plan to 1Gbps for a stable connection, the Ring doorbell still malfunctions constantly. The video and audio quality they proudly claim to be "Full HD" is a complete lie—it’s grainy, laggy, and unreliable. I also received a Ring Chime in the package, which turned out to be completely useless. No matter what I tried, it simply wouldn’t function correctly. It’s just another cheap, defective product that Ring pushes onto customers. And don’t get me started on the Ring app—it’s an absolute disaster. The video freezes, takes ages to load, and throws unexpected errors when you need it most. It’s infuriating to deal with. Ring is all about misleading advertisements and flashy marketing, but their products are poorly made, unreliable, and not worth a fraction of what they charge. I regret every cent and every second I wasted on this garbage. Do yourself a favor—stay far away from Ring!

J'ai acheté la sonnette il y a moins d'un an. En peu de temps la batterie se déchargeait rapidement et a du mal à se recharger J'ai appelez le service après vente une calamité la personne suit sa procédure et ne veut rien comprendre à part que c'est ma wifi qui est mauvaise mais pas leur produit ils ne veulent pas envoyer un nouveau produit alors qu'il est toujours sous garantie vraiment un désastre je suis très énervée contre eux et sur leur façon de gérer leur service après vente c'est une honte

Una decepción de cámaras
Una decepción de cámaras. Se desconfiguran todo el rato y hay que reasignar otra vez. La luz parpadea en blanco y azul y no en blanco. Te cobran 100e al año, un abuso para el servicio que dan. La tapa de la cámara no se queda y se abre todo el rato. Menudo timo!!

Don't bother with ring
Don't bother with ring. Absolute waste of money. I changed my WiFi, and their technical teams entire training wad just keep pushing the power button for 20 minutes. Then said, oh it must be broken, you need to buy all your cameras again.

Ohne das Abo ist die Kamera fast witzlos. Mann kann sich lediglich live schalten. Das Abo würde ich mir kaufen allerdings beginnt hier die Abzocke. Da ist die Kirche nicht im Dorf geblieben

Change £250 for a subscription for 1…
Change £250 for a subscription for 1 camera the highest subscription is only £85 I ask for them to correct it as I already had a subscription covering all cameras, two months on, nothing but lies saying they can't refund it for 3 months due to their systems I've gone to the bank for a fraudulent taking of money which they then revoked due to ring stating that it wasn't fraud as attached to my account. Then told after two and a half months told refund but to a different bank and card which again was a lie still no refund or any answers my banks not able to help as athe charge back was challenging and successful despite having emails from ring stating I'm owed the full amount and even sent refund invoice this company is a scamming everyone by the looks of the reviews

Do NOT buy any of these products. Our doorbell has corroded to the point it is unusable. It is only 6 months old and still under warranty. However after a pointless 45 minute conversation with customer service was asked was my doorbell outside?? Where else would a door bell be? Am I near or live in an area with extreme weather? No I am neither in the desert or Antarctica!! I was informed that I could buy another with 10% discount, it’s unusable, it’s not fit for purpose and it’s still under warranty!! After a battle I was told I would receive a new one in the mail. To which 3 days later I was informed by email that I would not be receiving a new doorbell and the case was closed. DO NOT BUY this rubbish!! It’s not fit for purpose, the customer service is pathetic. The warranty is a LIE!

Ring is niets thuis als je iets schrijft wat hun niet past. Heb een ring abonnement genomen waar ik niks aan heb. Twee een nieuwe camera gekocht via Bol beide stuk geld nog niet terug van Ring.
