Ring keeps refusing to post my…
Ring keeps refusing to post my neighbors warning. There are “solicitors “ who have come by multiple times with no badge or credentials, don’t say where they are from, ask if we are home—obviously casing. This is the third or fourth time different people have come by and asked —cars are out front. I don’t profile or post pics or videos but they keep refusing. However, they post stuff like people complaining about low water pressure or electricity flickering. Seriously? They are useless. Get a different doorbell. Something else Jeff Bezos is ruining.
Bad Customer Service, Didn’t Honor Warranty
I really wish I had this more research and read some reviews before I trust it ring with my security. I was of the impression that they had much better customer service. They Office services that they have no intention of providing to get the customer. You don’t realize until you request a service that is not available. My office was vandalized and my ring doorbell was stolen on December 19 of 2024. I reached out to Ring for a replacement doorbell and never heard anything back initially. I have been following up in an effort to get them to honor the lifetime replacement warranty and have been denied three separate times. Each time there’s a different reason for not honoring the warranty. I have provided my police report and I have an actual video of the person taking the ring doorbell.
Slechte service
Slechte service, mevrouw sarisha zegt dat ze mij niet begrijpt, duurt een half uur en uiteindelijk komt er excuus met 0 uitleg. Ring was nét kapot buiten garantie en ik kreeg een kortingskaart maar als die vervolgens maar beperkt is, wat schiet je ermee op.

Ich habe die Ring Spotlight mit Solar. Ich kann hier einige Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen… natürlich geht der Akku leer, ohne Solar und Mann muss nicht dauernd am Handy alles einschalten. Es gibt Zeitpläne die man schalten kann. RTFM! Und natürlich kostet ein Abo, wenn Du Aufzeichnungen möchtest.
Die cam macht, was sie soll. Bildqualität könnte heutzutage besser sein, aber ok.
Was richtig nervt, dass die Cam keine Sirene bei Bewegung auslöst. Das soll man händisch machen. Wofür hab ich dann ne Cam? Deswegen nur 1*
Strondtraag
Ik heb nu al een paar jaar de Ring Wired deurbel en was aanvankelijk mega tevreden. Maar nu werkt die bel echt strondtraag. Wanneer er iemand aanbelt, duurt het laden van het beeld op mijn telefoon tot wel vijf minuten – zodat de aanbeller al lang weg is. Ik heb alle online stappen gevolgd en de deurbel meerdere keren gereset, maar hij blijft gewoon strond langzaam. Vier euro per maand betaal ik voor dat stomme abonnement en krijg ik in ruil daarvoor een enorme hoop frustratie.
Ik sta echt op het punt dat ding van de deurpost af te trekken en een Eufy te kopen.
Drops off house Internet regularly.
5 cameras all currently offline again, dropped off house Internet, they are all installed at least 12 feet up, they won't connect with smartphone so need to get ladder and remove each one and press the orange button, wish I had read reviews before buying, also 3 range extenders didn't stop it happening.
Poor Customer Service
Poor Customer Service. I returned my unopened system "no questions asked" after reading some troubling articles about Ring. After Ring received my return, in perfect condition, they sent no notification to confirm receipt so I had to contact support to ask for the status of my refund. My refund was authorized during the call (now waiting 14 days) but the call handler was argumentative. Assuming they get the refund process right, at least I won't have to deal with them again.
Disappointed
Disappointed, I called Ring customer support because my recording of an event I needed as evidence did not show up. Unfortunately it does not record everything and the customer support agent could not help me. I have cancelled my 2 x cloud packages as it does not record everything and I will now throw my useless cameras away!

Non-existing customers
Agree with other customers about the non-existing customer service. Had new WiFi fibre installed 6 weeks ago and tried to reset Ring doorbell following their instructions online. None of it worked and went round in circles. Wrote to customer service three time for assistance. No response at all.

Al jaren klant, van rekening gewijzigd en vergeten aan te passen en zonder dat je een waarschuwing krijgt zeggen ze gewoon je abonnement op en ben je al je beeldmateriaal kwijt van 4 camera's. En dan bieden ze ter compensatie een tientje korting op je volgende abonnement aan.

USELESS
I get alerts 1 minute after someone has been to the front door!!. I have 900meg broadband and perfect signal to the ring doorbell. Utterly useless. Much better cameras availible without having to pay yearly.
Poor WiFi re-connection requires hard reset to get back online
I have several RING cameras, installed both inside and outside. When the power is interrupted even for a minute, all the cameras go offline, requiring that each camera be reset manually by taking apart the camera and pushing the reset button. My ISP checked my equipment and everything is working. The app does not automatically reset the camera. RING Support noted hard resets are needed and a WiFi extender would not help. My WYZE and NEST cameras do not have these WiFi signal issues. I would not recommend RING products as they fail to reach basic expectations of sustained connections!
Customer service not great.
FYI- Ive have three Simplisafe systems (at three homes) for a decade and they are good. No big issues. Mainly good Cs, albeit always overseas.
I also have three ring cameras that work fine.
However, I just set up the Ring security system for my mom at her home yesterday. During the The freeze and water sensor setup, there app told me to test it in its final location, and if it blinks red that it was not still connected to the base. It’s said to Move it closer to re establish connection , but even on top of the base station It would not connect indicated by the blinking blue light like it was supposed to do. So I called Ring and spoke To JAMES. He told me it’s fine, it’s been installed. I said, right, but it’s blinking red and the App is telling me that it is not still connected. He said “it’s fine, put it in water and you'll See”
Um. ???
I kept saying…so I should just ignore the app telling me the set up was not complete, as it’s blinking red??
He then rudely said, don’t tell me how the app works, I know how the app works. (Yikes)
If It only blinks red a Few times it’s fine.
I said, transfer me to someone else. He said something like, “gladly”. Useless, wrong and hates his job is not fun.
So I then got a man named Marilyn. He said james was incorrect and he fixed it.
I then asked Marilyn to make a return for me of the “smoke listener” sensor (didn’t realize it’s not a DETECTOR). He said it has to be done online.
So I did it online.
I was then sent an email from ring with a link to PRINT LABEL that did not link to anything. Did zero.
So I called Ring AGAIN and got Harold. He was terribly nice and completely Confused. He said…’um can you send me a screen shot of the email so I can send it to the returns team, because I have no idea what to do’ and told me the returns department was “really backed up.”
He wanted a screen shot of an email(?)
But I said fine.
He then sent me an email that arrived a while later, that had a link to a secure way to submit the screen shot of the email BUT it would not allow the type of file that IS a screen shot to be uploaded! ARGH
Also I had gotten emails from nevar- that just said ‘set up An account’. No idea what nevar is. It Said nothing about Ring. I Assumed junk mail but it arrived exactly when the useless label email did so I had asked Harold if it had anything to do with Ring returns by any chance and he Said yes. So I tried to create an account there! BUT nevar says they’ll send you a verification number to your email to set up the account or by text but they Never ever ever ever do to either. Tried all day.
I then emailed ring and never Heard back.
So I had no choice but to contact help via chat as that was my only option left!!
I FINALLY got a working link to return the smoke listener!!
Yeah! and …
That was a lot of wasted time!!
AND as I’m trying this I’m getting alerts from the ring freeze water sensor that it’s now offline. (Eye roll) Guess it’s not fixed.
Can’t really recommend Ring. But Might be fine if you never need help.
Useless or rude CS is just a turn off first day.
The worst customer service ever
The worst customer service ever.
Bought a doorbell last April changed it for a wired doorbell in February. Yearly plan to expire in April. Checked with Ring plan transferred over assured it was. Yesterday discover they have taken £49.99 from my account and are not too keen on refunding the money . Customer service is so appalling which is a shame as tbe products are good

Ring deurbel gekocht op 27-06-2024.
Nu februari 2025 en de buitenkant van de deurbel is op meerdere stukken afgebrokkelt. Contact met klantenservice word je ook niet wijzer van, aangezien ze vast blijven houden aan 30% korting op een nieuw product. Op deze manier zit er niks anders op dan rechtsbijstand in te schakelen ivm garantie, daar je van een dergelijk product mag verwachten dat dit niet na iets meer dan een half jaar al aan vervanging toe is.

Horrible customer service. They essentially hope that you will give up on your problem because you don't want to keep wasting more time trying to get them to resolve it.
DOORBELL ROTTING
Had my doorbell 7 months and it is now starting to rot. This has now affected the lens which makes the view blurry. Reached out to customer service who couldn’t care less. Considering the price of the doorbell and the subscription I will be staying clear after the 12months! Joke!

The worst customer experience ever..... customer services are useless
I’ve been a paying customer on the Ring Home Standard Plan (£7.99/month), which includes an extended warranty for device replacements. My camera stopped working in mid-December 2024, and despite 12+ calls over two months, I still have no replacement.
False promises – Repeatedly told my replacement was approved and would ship within 48 hours. It never arrived.
Conflicting information – One agent said the item was in stock, another said it wasn’t. I was later told a black version was available, only to find out that was another lie.
Terrible case management – Every time I called, I had to re-explain everything from scratch.
No urgency for security devices – My camera has been down for 8 weeks, leaving my home unprotected.
Impossible to contact support properly – Ring only offers phone support, there is no email for customer service, and the contact centre has no escalation process or senior management to escalate complaints.
After yet another call today, I’ve now been promised a Ring Pro upgrade due to stock issues. But after so many broken promises, I have zero confidence that this will actually arrive.
Ring’s customer service is shockingly bad – nothing like Amazon’s. If this isn’t resolved in 48 hours, I’ll be cancelling my plan, selling all my Ring cameras, and switching to a brand that actually values customers.
🚨 Avoid Ring – they don’t care about customer support or security! 🚨

I’ve had my ring door bell for less than a year and it has started corroding. When speaking to the customer service team they were rude and advised I am breaking their policy for wanting to log a complaint to ask for a replacement. Would never buy another product again
