Ring sucks!! The camera quality is terrible and never catches anything important. Also the moderators never let anyone post anything, they always flag for the dumbest reasons. Not worth your money at all.

I recently contacted Ring support team regarding the removal of a camera from my Ring Protect Plus plan. Unfortunately, my experience was highly unsatisfactory due to a critical lack of information provided by the agent.
At no point did the agent warn me that removing a device from my plan would void its extended warranty. However, when I inquired about adjusting my plan, I was immediately warned that doing so would remove warranty coverage. This inconsistency suggests that their agents are trained to protect Ring’s revenue rather than prioritizing the customer’s best interests.
Had I been informed in advance, I would not have removed the camera, especially since I was experiencing issues with its functionality. A competent customer service approach would have included asking why I wanted to remove the camera and ensuring I understood the consequences beforehand. Instead, the agent simply provided steps without verifying my intent, leading to a frustrating and costly outcome.
Additionally, the agent’s tone was dismissive and unhelpful when I expressed my concerns. Rather than offering troubleshooting assistance or alternative solutions, I was met with abrupt responses that did not align with the level of customer care I expect from a company like Ring.

The worse camera out there cost my 350 for camera and installation and my car has been broken into and absolutely no alerts came in and not footage recorded ! As soon as it gets dark it doesn’t pick up on activity in my garden it’s a joke !
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service, no effective support. I don’t want to spend an entire hour doing busy work chat back and forth and continually reinstating the problem. Can get into account without verification code. Can’t get verification code without getting into account. See the problem???? Complete waste of time.
The worse quality
I've had numerous issues with Ring, and unfortunately, their customer service has only made things worse. After calling multiple times, I was met with rude support agents who blamed my internet connection for poor camera quality. However, all other devices in my home work perfectly fine—it's just the Ring camera that's the problem.
The image quality is awful, and my Ring doorbell has started to get foggy, making it nearly impossible to see anything clearly. If a delivery person knocks and runs, forget about catching any details. It’s incredibly frustrating, especially considering you have to pay £80 a year for this service.
The only positive takeaway is that this experience has made me realize there are much better companies out there offering more reliable products and service.
Can't cancel payment
I've been trying to cancel my ring account for nearly two years but have just had an email saying my payment of £89.95 will be taken from my bank account
They keep taking money after the account was closed. We sold the property it related to 2 years ago and the new owners have also had problems in setting up an account but eventually succeeded. Ring are now being paid twice for the same system

Ik had 2 verschillende ringbellen besteld, een bedrade en op batterij. Uiteindelijk eentje gekozen en eentje retour willen sturen.
Maar wat een gedoe het retourneren. Ik heb nog nooit in mijn leven al deze stappen moeten ondernemen om een iets te retourneren. Bellen, mailen, foto’s maken en opsturen, weer wachten op verificatiecode en die doorgeven daarna weer in de wacht en daarna pas een label ontvangen voor retour. Dit heb ik ook telefonisch aangegeven, dat het echt anders moet, maar diegene leek het niet echt te boeien!
Alleen vanwege het retourbeleid zal ik hier niets meer bestellen. VERSCHRIKKELIJK.
Dit is echt moeilijk doen om het moeilijk doen.

Ring products are not reliable
I'm relatively new to Ring doorbell and of all the techology I use the Ring takes most of my trouble-shooting time. It goes offline at least once a day and it takes a full reset to get it work again. I ordered a Ring chime and it was dead on arrival. The Ring is a few feet away from the router and my phone never goes offline. I really regret purchasing any Ring product. They're trash.
Getting access via invitation
I was invited to have access to a camera. I followed all written instructions but got nowhere. I then called support and spoke with a living person to no avail. Even after doing everything they said I got nowhere getting access. Seriously I spent 30 minutes on the phone. It was frustrating and I really didn't appreciate being talked to like I was an idiot. It's not my fault their programs aren't working and not my fault what I was being told to do failed. So I'm deleting everything from Ring . I'd never recommend this product and certainly never invest in purchasing or using a Ring Device .

Zelfs één ster is nog teveel voor de kwaliteit van mijn ring video deurbel. Na ongeveer 15 maanden is de behuizing aan alle kanten door erosie enorm aangetast dat het apparaat er gewoon niet meer uitziet. Ring verschuilt zich achter haar beperkte garantie en biedt 30% korting op een nieuw apparaat. Van wettelijke garantie hebben ze waarschijnlijk niet gehoord. Wat een slechte service en een uitermate klantonvriendelijk bedrijf. Mijn advies: koop hier niet want zodra je betaald hebt kan je barsten.

What isn’t explained on the packaging when you purchase it is that one your introduction period runs out, you lose all benefits of having a security camera at your front door.

Then there is the cost of their plans. Unaffordable for more hard working families and unreasonable for the features offered. There are many other companies offering their products without the requirement for a subscription to see who is at your front door. We will be uninstalling it and purchasing the original SWANN camera we had. Defs recommend paying extra at the initial purchase with a reliable brand so you know what you are getting up front!!!’

This company started off with reasonably priced plans at £34.99 for the Basic then they increased it to £49.99 at which point I did not renew my subscription in disgust at the exorbitant increase. Due to unforeseen circumstances I have had to activate the basic plan again priced at £49.99 and discovered they have locked the doorbell caller notification to your phone so whoever rings your doorbell you won't know about it and you can't interact with them .... unless you upgrade to their new Standard plan priced at £79.99.
I had doorbell calls with the Basic package the first time around.
I feel that now Ring has got themselves established within the home security market that they are now profiteering. When this plan expires that's it no more.
