I bought 5 cameras when they first came…

I bought 5 cameras when they first came out based on the representation that they were Weatherproof. Now some of them are foggy against what was sold to me as. Now they want me to buy new ones instead of standing by their original committment. (Since then I understand that they may have withdrawn the Wetherproof part) But that is not my problem and I insist on them replacing the cameras as long as it takes, to avoid misrepresentation to a customer.

DON'T UPGRADE UNTIL EXISTING SUBSCRIPTION EXPIRES

Don't upgrade to Protect Home before your existing subscription has expired. I should have been given over £10 credit for 50 days pro rata for 2 devices. BUT I was given only £3.

Having problems reinstalling devices because I had to change my phone number and email and can’t remember password or recover it after a personal breach of my phone email account and other information

Having problems reinstalling device. Support center is overseas and cannot understand you and gave me false information after waiting 15 days twice. Talked to us support center and they made me go through a bunch of crap including downloading an app that cost me 50$ to authenticate who I was to only tell me in the end I’d have to wait another fifteen days after an hour on the phone. I’m never recommending ring or installing one for friends and won’t install them for major hardware stores in this area. I’m throwing this junk away and installing another company’s devices

RING DEURBEL Accu

Heb 2 jaar geleden een ring deurbel met accu gekocht maar nu gaat de accu heel snel leeg terwijl ik hem alleen gebruik voor het bellen en geen bewegingen. Vrijdag 8 november jl 100% opgeladen en nu14 november nog maar 34 % . Heb dit aangegeven bij ring klanten klanten service maar ze zeggen U kunt een nieuwe accu kopen. Terwijl men beweerd dat je met een accu 2 of 3 maanden kan gebruiken voordat hij leeg is . Accu is altijd maar 2 weken meegegaan dit is zeer jammer

My only gripe with this product is

My only gripe with this product is, it is very slow to alert me after a person enters at my front door.The explanation for this was that my internet was to blame. Bt have assured me that this is not the case having done loads of checks and upgrading my home hub. The home hub is not blocked in but stood on a nest of tables and, my Ring doorbell is 10 feet away. After rebooting / resetting changing alert mode settings it is still the same.

Ring App Packed With Advertising

The ring app will make you hate this product. There are so many ads and popups, that when you're trying to activate or deactivate the alarm you will often (accidentally) click one of the many ads instead. Your browser open automatically and you will be taken to a web page, wondering where am I and what just happened. I would not buy this product again because the app is basically unusable, especially if you do not have a very large screen on your phone.

the cameras work fine

the cameras work fine, till they break, then support is worse than useless. On my fifth support call, all take upwards of thirty minutes some well over an hour. The chat AI does not work. The lens fell off Ring Floodlight Camera Wired Pro - White, i have have the unlimited yearly account so it should have been covered under warranty. They no longer offer this product even though i was able to purchase off their logistics center.

Liebes Ring Team Ich versuche seit einigen Monaten euch zu kontaktieren, doch leider klappt das nicht, darum sehe ich mich leider gezwungen so eine Bewertung zu hinterlassen. Ich habe diverse Produkte bestellt, leider wurde mir die gratis Indoorkamera nicht geliefert zusätzlich funktioniert ein kontankt Sensor nicht. Ik heb nu ongeveer twee a drie jaar een Ring deurbel ,een chime en 2 buitencamera's. Toen zich achter mijn huis ongewenst bezoek aandiende bleek het camerabeeld zo belabberd dat er een schim bewoog maar meer ook niet. Op de deurbel type Ring3 camera idem. Ik heb een pro camera gekocht om te zien of dat beter was maar als het regent zie je niets. Mijn abonnement loopt nog t/m 30 april a.s. en dat heb ik alvast opgezegd. Naar nu blijkt is ook direct alle verbinding met de apparatuur verbroken en doet zelfs de bel en de chime niets meer. Nou ja , beter want goed werken deed het toch niet. Nu dus snel naar de bouwmarkt voor een nieuw e nood deurbel en uitzoeken welke video deurbel en camera's wel goed werken. Van het Amerikaanse RING ben ik volledig genezen.

Not WiFi issue. Crap camera

It's no surprise that Amazon won't allow reviews of the Ring Wired Pro. The Chime alert works fine, but the camera reports connection error. Must restart phone, a worrysome delay. WiFi is not to blame, evidence the Chime. Now an overpriced motion light. No issue with SimpliSafe camera or, indeed, any of its products. I may have to add another of its cameras for full coverage.

Ring offered a $10 credit when I purchased my Video Doorbell which did not indicate any expiration date. I just went to use it and found it no longer available as they said it expired! No indication in the email re. use it or lose it, use by date, nothing !!!!

Expérience déplorable

Commande passée en septembre, bloquée pendant des semaines sans aucun suivi disponible sur le profil. Je me décide à appeler et au bout de 25 mns d'échanges avec une personne non francophone de naissance je m'entends dire qu'un élément de ma commande est absent. Elle m'incite à annuler ma commande et je lui dis que je préfère attendre. 10 jours plus tard rien de nouveau et je viens sur Trustpilot et je découvre le niveau catastrophique des revues. Je décide donc d'annuler ma commande et j'obtiens finalement un remboursement d'où ma seule étoile. Entreprise très mal gérée avec tous les côtés négatifs d'une multinationale "à l'américaine" mais sans son efficacité. Je déconseille fortement....

Ring stick up camera pro, totally a piece of unusable junk Won't switch from wifi to Lan , plenty of Internet available 1gb and 321mbps on wifi tried numerous times at the router to set this steaming piece up but even Ring tech can't solve it, I've other ring cameras and really thinking it's time to change to a proper system , just don't purchase it it's truly junk

I am writing to express my concern regarding an issue with my Ring device subscription. Earlier today, I upgraded my device plan and successfully paid for the subscription. The payment was processed, and everything appeared to be in order. However, a few hours later, I received an email notification stating that my subscription had been cancelled. Concerned about this unexpected cancellation, I immediately contacted ring customer support for clarification. Unfortunately, the representative I spoke with was unable to assist effectively. The call was frustrating as there were significant language barriers and a lack of clarity regarding the steps needed to resolve the issue.

The company has equipment that only works part of the time. The help center only has AI even when I specifically asked for a human. They are so big they no longer care about the customer.

Lousy experience with Ring.

Consistent issues from time of purchase. Constantly directed to reset and climb up and down to restart. Ridiculous for seniors. Never worked properly. Plan also more expensive than other companies. After final contact and technician couldn’t figure out the issue were offered 35% off a new unit. Even with a 35% off more expensive than other units. Never were offered a replacement from time started having issues within time unit was new. Original install was 2022 and bought plan in October 2022 and October 2023. Chose not to renew plan for other unit with the consistent issues occurring. We had installed 2 units. One unit always having issues. Each unit was $260 plus tax. Poor quality of video and at least 40 second delay for motion detection.

Beware!!

I currently have 4 Ring cameras. The first camera was the doorbell, that was wired. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was install, operate and how clear the images were. Ok, I was officially hooked. So I added a stick camera to see what was going on with people coming on the property to steal Meyer lemons (and to see disrespectful neighbors who wanted to let their dogs poop and not clean it up). Next stick camera was set up for dog walkers who dogs urine was killing the two shrubs in front of the house. The 4th camera was to cover the entire side of the house. So I was now able to watch the entire house. The last camera's battery looses power quickly. I contacted Best Buy and was told that I should buy another battery (in less than 3 months), or talk to Geek Squad for a fee. Ring customer service talked to me like a child (in their trouble shooting). I am quite familiar with how the cameras operate. In conclusion, I have zero respect for Ring customer service. As long as I was spending money by if I have a problem...then up screwed!! Would never buy anything from them again!!

It's works okay but expensive to run if you want memory backup.

It's works okay but having bought the Ring product I then discovered there are better product available at a good a price or better. Main thing against it is it has no memory facility so you have to sign up to their memory storage at £4.99 a month or more. It was only £2.99 but increased it by a whopping 67%. I only pay that for my mobile with 5gb of download and 1000 minutes. I think they have now priced themselves out of the market for new customers. Additionally I find that despite a very good internet service at home there is to much lag time when the motion sensor picks up someone approaching the front door. Consequently they have gone before toucan connect to the free live service. Sorry but I can't recommend this product. Go for one with a micro SD card memory back up. It is less intrusive if you choose not to use any internet access and it's less expensive. To be fair the Ring battery does last a couple of months between charges.

What has happened to Ring customer…

What has happened to Ring customer service? This was awful. What's the point of pre-verification of the call handler doesn't even realise you have already done it. Which leads nicely to the caller handler 😲 Everything I said had to be repeated 2, 3 or even 4 times. Her responses were like pulling teeth. Which considering she was very obviously reading from a script shouldn't have been so difficult. Her spoken English is not good enough to be handling calls from English speaking callers. It also seemed she was struggling to read the script. In the end between a slow running tablet and the slowness of the call handler, I gave up. If I didn't already have your devices, I would go elsewhere.

Worst doorbell camera ever!!

Worst doorbell camera ever!!! Misses events most of the time! When someone rings it, don't get any sound notifications most of the time that someone is at the door, very blurry and muffled recordings, i have excellent internet connection, it's just a trash device!

Deurbel gekocht. Niet de goede. Eindelijk na 3x bellen retourlabel ontvangen. Pakketje netjes opgestuurd en nooit meer iets gehoord. Nu 15-11-2024 nog steeds niet gehoord, en ook nog geen geld retour!

Don't waste your money!

I have used the Ring doorbell for nearly two years now and pay the exorbitantly increased subscription (UK user). It's hooked up to my WiFi. If you like a camera that's very clear and takes pretty video stream when it can be bothered then fill your boots. But can it actually catch anything worthwhile apart from people walking by? No because someone smashed my neighbour's car door window right there in full range of my ring doorbell camera and it didn't capture a thing and it was daylight??!! How does that work?? Also, long dark gaps of when there's just nothing in the night. So how does that help if a crime is actually taking place? If you hear any noise outside you might as well look out the window yourself and record it with your mobile! Please do not waste your hard earned cash. There are similar products out there that do a better job and I'm looking into it. Believe!

Very Unreliable

I love this system when it works. It is INCREDIBLY UNRELIABLE. Firstly, the camera furthest from it's WiFi connection is only about 13' away. I have the Chime Pro to get signal to my front cameras, another device and my router to get signal to my back cameras. It's insane how close these things have to be to get any signal. Despite this, I have a major signal problem with a camera only about 10' from my router. This has happened multiple times with multiple cameras. Their tech support is hit and miss. Occasionally I get someone that knows something. 99% of the time they try to blame everything except Ring and I have to spend half an hour repeating everything I already did and trying to explain why that isn't the problem. Even when you have perfect signal, full battery, and everything is fine, you'll get alerts with no video, false alerts, and failure to record. Even when everything works, the video doesn't start until whoever tripped the camera sensor is already well past the camera or already leaving. We are talking at least 3-5 second delay. I pay WAY TOO MUCH for this.
