Incompetent and useless customer…
Incompetent and useless customer service. Waiting over two weeks for my device replacement, old one just decided to stop working so I needed to request a replacement. Two weeks with no camera doorbell on the front of my house and still waiting, after multiple phone calls and chat conversation still didn't get any email with tracking number for my replacement, but the return label for old device arrived in minutes! I will never ever recommend ring to anyone.

Incompetent tech support
I would give them 0 star if it’s a choice. Incompetent, repetitive tech support. I called in 3x for a warranty replacement. The first 2 calls was for troubleshooting and I was told a shipping label/return authorization will be sent. I let 3 days go by after that call and still nothing. I called today to follow up and the tech is asking me if we troubleshot the issue. My goodness, don’t they keep notes? I don’t need to be asked over and over again what’s been done, it’s a simple camera! It’s frustrating and irritating. I will never buy a ring again because they suck at customer service and this company seem like they do not want to honor their warranty statement.

When your doorbell becomes a doorstop
Oh, where do I even begin? I'm feeling a mix of disappointment and disbelief over my Ring doorbell camera. Apparently, it decided to take a winter vacation—right into the realm of irreparable damage! The glass is cracked so badly that I can’t even see through it. I guess it’s now more of a “doorbell decoration” than a security device. And get this: when I reached out for help, I was told it’s not under warranty. But don’t worry, they’re generously offering me a 35% discount on my next purchase! How thoughtful! Because nothing says “we care” quite like a discount on a product that I’ve already had to replace twice due to weather damage. At this point, I’m starting to think my Ring doorbell is just a fancy paperweight. If they won’t even replace the glass, I might just have to ring the doorbell of a different company. Thanks for the memories, Ring, but I think it’s time for us to part ways!

Shocking Process for Issues
I purchased another Ring camera which I attached to my account where I already had an existing camera and full protect plan. For some unknown reason, when the new camera free trial for the protect plan ran out, it removed the protect plan against my account that I had already paid for. Ring still took my money for the subscription that day! I contacted their support team via Facebook as I was travelling in the US, and wanted to get this resolved as soon as possible as I had no visibility to my home. What a faffing process, I was told I would need to complete an on-line form and provide a Customer Support Verfication code in order for them to look into the issue. I did this once I was back in the UK, yet to date, nothing. I still have no access to recordings against my account. I contacted their team again via Facebook, and was told 'filling out the form does not escalate a ticket to our team, but rather provides us with access to your Ring account'!! So even though I initially raised this back on the 18th September, Ring still have not resolved the issue. They have since responded to state they would like to take a closer look at my billing history, all of this information was provided on the 18th September. Had I seen the reviews on here, I would have found a more reliable security provider.

Don’t buy
Don’t buy! I’ve had ring doorbells for quite a few years. Overpriced, contagiously goes off line, and doesn’t record anything, when it does record its often distorted. I’m sick of having to reset it! Someone rings the doorbell, you open the app to see who it is and 9 times out of 10 you can’t see who’s there because it takes too long to load! The monthly subscription keeps going up but the quality is diminishing.

The company has no line of complaint. I have written to my MP and asked the government should stop operation of companies who do not offer a line of complaint.

Cannot reach customer service
The doorbell is clever and works well most of the time but when I needo to contact Ring customer service, I was forced through an endless loop of chat bots and searching help articles. For the amount of money paid for the Ring service each month, I expect better. Why do the big tech companies do everything to avoid giving human customer service?

Warnung! Bitte dort nichts mehr bestellen! Nehmen original verpacktes Gerät 5Tage nach Zustellung nicht zurück. Für einen Retourenschein nach 30 Minuten Telefonat/ alle Daten durchgeben / weigert sich das Unternehmen de Retourenschein auszustellen. Melde den Fall dem Verbraucherschutz und hoffe ihnen bleibt solcher Ärger erspart!

24 augustus een bestelling gedaan en betaald. Was een actie. 1x bericht gehad dat er vertraging was. Verder niets. Het bedrijf is niet te bereiken. Als je belt krijg je te horen dat er vetraging is maar niet hoelang. Vanddag 18 september ei deliik iemand aan de lijn gekregen. Geen duidelijk antwoord qua levertijd. Order geannuleerd en een paar uur later mijn geld tetug gekregen. Dus toch nog een positief einde. Hoewel nog geen bel.

LOUSY REPRESENTATION
I purchased the ring a month ago. To get ibto the application a pop up appears that reads something to the affect of " technical issues try back later". Customer representative doesn t believe and just wants to ignor my pleas for an esculation team or manager to help since, "They don t have one"!what kind of answer is that? My phone carrier can handle me as "representIves"better than this company. I m glad my generation worked with customer satisfaction guaranteed morals.

Threw in trash
Finally getting to this as my Ring Video Doorbell I paid good money for a long time ago I just got around to removing it from the doorway of my house and is going into the trash. I used to get free video feeds without a monthly subscription but the company got greedy so now it is going into the garbage can.

Deceptive Pricing. Advertise in Aud but charge you USD
Ring advertise protection plans online for purchase with AUD prices in Australia. Once you sign up they will then charge you in USD thereby overcharging you for this service. Call centre advised that this is common practise and they do this until the customer calls up to enquire about being overcharged. If the customer doesn't call then this is how they make money by overcharging for a service.

Don't bother " totally a scam cheap tat" that's what I sum it up to be. I bought mine from Screwfix "it cost me £99 save your money blurry" picture staggered movement"works then doesn't. the only thing this ring doorbell looks good but doesn't tell you on box or in box of monthly subscription for staggered movement blurred pictures this product is a scam"and after your free month" it's pay the excessive monthly cost or rendering the camera and door bell useless I don't know what trading standards are doing but they should shut this company down in my opinion don't bother unless you want a world of hassle on app says great connection but useless i gave it one star as i couldn't go any lower.

WAARDELOOS BEDRIJF!! 3 weken geleden een aanbieding besteld, tot afgelopen vrijdag niks van gehoord, toen zelf maar actie ondernomen en gebeld met de klantenservice, vriendelijke man gesproken die mij helaas niet verder kon helpen dan de bestelling te annuleren, (had op z’n minst een alternatief verwacht) nu lees ik op deze pagina ook nog eens dat mensen al 2 weken wachten op hun geld, Achteraf maar een EUFY besteld, geen enkel moment spijt van gehad. (Als je dit leest ring -> steek je product waar de zon niet schijnt)

Im Regelfall bleibe ich sehr sachlich bei Support Themen. Jedoch finde ich, dass der Ring Support der größte Saftladen ist, den ich je gesehen habe. Nach 2 Wochen erhält man eine Antwort auf die im Vorfeld detailiert eingereichte Schilderung, um was für ein problem es sich handelt ( Das wird von Ring verlangt) und man erhält die Rückfrage um welches Gerät es sich handelt. Nach erneuter telefonischer Kontaktaufnahme und Beschwerde erhält man eine weitere Nachricht, vom Support, in der man aufgefordert wird, alle Schritte erneut zu unternehmen, die nicht funktionieren. Dafür, dass sogar mit einem Kostenlosen Techniker, der sich das vor Ort anschaut, geworben wurde, konnte mein Problem nach 3 Wochen nichts tun seitens Ring nicht gelöst werden. Habe den Schrott zurückgeschickt. Problem gelöst.

Aanbieding niet leverbaar geld niet terug!
Aanbieding deur camera besteld en betaald. Na 7 dagen wachten gebeld. Wat bleek aanbieding was niet leverbaar! Geld zou terug gestort worden. Tot op de dag van vandaag niets terug gekregen. Waardeloos bedrijf. Nooit iets kopen! Arlo is beter!

Something has changed it was well till this year works 5 months out of the year then all goes off even the ring app fails customer service is another problem getting someone it's like trying too win the lottery one available it's a total junk my diffinity looking for better security camera ring you SUCK YOU'RE UNRELIABLE

Ich habe in der Kundenhotline von Ring angerufen, Sprache DEUTSCH ausgewählt. bis dahin war alles super. Jedoch als der Berater ans Telefon ging, war ich mir nicht ganz sicher ob ich wirklich Deutsch gewählt habe. Der Berater von Ring sprach kaum Deutsch und wollte einfach nicht verstehen welches Problem ich habe. Wir haben uns im kreis gedreht und nach 45 min als wir am gleichen Punkt waren und er es immer noch nicht verstanden hat, habe ich das Gespräch beendet. Mir persönlich kam es eher vor als wenn ich mit der Flüchtlingsunterkunft telefoniert hätte. Fazit: Nie wieder Ring, wir werden hier in Zukunft alles auf Produkte der Konkurrenz umstellen sowohl Privat als auch Gewerblich.

Centrale d'alarme en panne alors sous garantie achetée il y a moins d'un an. Je contacte le SAV. Je tombe en Egypte, personne aimable et polie. Je passe plus d'une heure au téléphone. Problème non résolu. RDV est pris les jours suivants avec une personne anglophone. Idem problème non résolu. On me propose de m'envoyer un nouvel appareil. OK, je reçois un mail de confirmation avec un numéro de référence. Ne voyant rein venir, je recontacte au bout de trois semaines le SAV. Prise de renseignement laborieuse, pour au final entendre que ma commande est annulée faute d'appareils disponibles. Ils m'invitent à renouveler la demande dans quelque temps. En résumé, appareil qui tombe en panne en moins d'un an et un SAV qui n'assume pas du tout. Arnaque organisée.

Taking numerous duplicate payments and this has been ongoing for months. Get told this is resolved and then it happens yet again the following month. Contact customer services who are no help trying to say it’s me that caused the issue, not the case!!! Asked for a manager to email me back so I have the proof and this was declined stating they do not have email. Asked for CEO information to be told they do not have one 🤣 Shaymaa was totally useless, unable to provide any information or action anything as would need a manager!!!! I think I need to look around for new camera providers this is ridiculous and fraudulent use of my payment info. Currently waiting for a manager call back within 24hrs, if this is not received or resolved in that time Elizabeth Hamren (ceo who doesn’t exist apparently) will be contacted
