I’ve had at least 3 incidents happen. Actually several times mail has been stolen. The neighbor has been abusive to maintenance people, and angry outbursts on a mutually shared porch. When I check the videos, which I pay for the service, not one incidence has been clearly recorded from start to finish. The thefts - 0 recording.

Stitched up with wired Stick Up Cams!!
I purchased 2 wired stick up cams from Ring. Both arrived as battery units (no wired power supplies). Phoned customer service and spent 25 mins trying to explain to the service rep that I hadn’t received what I ordered. Eventually he agreed to order two power supplies. A week later (within their delivery promise), no communication. Used their customer chat bot to enquire, only to be told the items are out of stock and no delivery date known. When I asked for spare batteries in the interim (cameras both drain on battery within 12 hours), I was told I needed to speak with someone in customer service. So I called and went through the same process of explanation and request for spare batteries. The service rep spoke to their supervisor and the request for spare batteries was declined. I reiterated that they hadn’t delivered what I ordered, taken my payment, yet cannot supply what I’d paid for. I simply wanted them to provide two spare batteries so I could use the cameras continuously. The customer service rep then escalated to a more senior level of management and said I should expect a response to my case in 24-48 hours. Well 96 hours later no response from Ring. They don’t care, they take your money under false pretences and leave you without any further commitment on their part. DON’T USE RING!!!

In het begin uitstekend! Na het weigeren van een duur abonnement: waardeloos. Meldingen komen gewoon veel te laat.

De ring deurbel is binnen twee jaar kapot gegaan, ook te zien aan moment van de laatste opname.
Ik heb daar zelf te laat melding van gemaakt waardoor ik geen garantie meer heb.
Omdat ik in eerste instantie dacht dat het probleem in de batterij zat heb ik daar onnodig een nieuwe voor gekocht. Daarnaast is er ook nog eens €40,- abonnementskosten afgeschreven terwijl de deurbel al een kleine twee maanden niks meer deed.
Al met al toch gehoopt op meer coulance van de klantenservice en dat de deurbel nog geen 2 jaar meeging was ook een tegenvaller..
Overigens heeft de buurman een VEEL goedkopere deurbelcamera en het beeld was ook nog eens veel beter.

Ring cams are complete garbage these days no wonder they can't even sell them at 50% off they're junk. I have had three other cameras all different manufacterers for years and finally decided to try a Ring cam. Huge mistake. It is garbage that constantly has issues connecting and staying connected and Ring customer service always blames the customer and their wifi. They refuse to acknowledge the problem is on their end this company is garbage since Amazon took over. Never had this connectivity issue with my other cams and still don't. My Ring cam though, "The king of cams" is a total lie. I've wasted my money on their product so you don't have to. Use other cameras and save yourself the headache of the Ring.
Signature required - WORK MUCH???
Ordered cameras. Ring sent via UPS signature required. I work, can't ever be home at noon to sign for a package. UPS is no help, ring is no help - can't get my package which I paid for, and Ring can't cancel and refund while the package is out for delivery.

RING is NOT SECURE
Got off the phone with them, they refused to address my problem! The problem is my neighbors are hacking my camera. I have proof. They have already trouble shot it twice! And, that wasn’t it. The camera works fine, except when these neighbors come outside! All 3 of my cameras shutdown! Then. Today, one camera recorded me waving at them! When the other camera showed them invisible!!!
RING rep on the refused to acknowledge the problem of hacking. It’s a well known problem with their WiFi system, and end to end software security systems and is a weakness! They will not allow the support specialist to do anything about it. Nor, explain the issue. They would rather you be INSECURE UNSAFE and UNKNOWINGLY about the problem. They don’t care about you. If you go to YouTube you’ll find network news reports of stories about people who were robbed, victimized, while their RING cameras were being jammed, hacked, blocked by crooks, neighbors, thugs.
RING, needs to be taught a lesson.

Bought a subscription service for my old house by accident called minutes later and they said just buy the subscription for the right location and they would refund me the full amount. HOWEVER, they only refunded partial. Lying to customers seems to be acceptable for their business practices.

Do yourself a favor and get rid of Ring. They hide all functionality behind a subscription paywall. It is disingenuous because they have cornered the market and since they have the biggest market share they can just make your ring device worthless. I have a million subscriptions and I'm just tired of bleeding money just to have another thing im.forced to have to use their product. Stop stealing people's money. I'm changing my Ring to something else now.

I’m a disabled veteran and have had a ring for many many years till a camera that I paid 150$ kept breaking and after 2 times of it breaking and being sent refurbished junk I went OFF ON RING WHEN IT BROKE AGAIN AND I JUST ASKED FOR THE CAMERA TO BE REPLACED WITH ONE THAT WORKS! I pay for the services BUT NO MORE IF THEY DONT REPLACE IT WITH NEW CAMERA DONE AFTER MANY MANY YEARS IM DONE CUTTING OFF ALL SERVICES AND TAKING DOWN ALL EQUIPMENT AND THROWING IT AWAY
$200 camera that is defective
Bought a $200 camera from them (one of over a dozen cameras that I own from them) and just as the warranty expired the camera stopped working. After talking to support they were not able to fix it (constant rebooting) and offered me 35% discount code. They should stand by their product and just replace the defective product then try to get more money from me. I've been a loyal customer with them for many years and was very disappointed with their response and handling of the issue.
There are multiple brands that are better than RING
When it works it's fine. But (2) units over 5 years, because they continue to malfunction or go defective in short periods of time isn't worth it. Customer service was actually good during the 1st swap-out, which they did with no problems; but the product itself just isn't that good. Camera quality has always been poor from the start. Swapped it out with a competitor and it's a significant upgrade for a lower cost (seems like Ring is just a cheap gimmick, running on a decent brand reputation at a high price). Conclusion: Don't do Ring.

Ring Extended Warrant is a SCAM.
I've been paying for the Ring Extended Device protection since 2018 and have now been denied a replacement for my second device. Both LED lights went out on my flood light cam about a year ago, I called and apparently, that device wasn't covered for whatever reason, so I was given a discount code to buy a new flood light because the device wasn't designed to just let you replace the LED bulbs!! $300 for a new flood light, now my front door camera failed and wont record anymore, I called for a replacement since I pay for the "extended warranty" it even shows in my app that this device is covered! The rep on the phone continued to tell me that the device is not covered because in 2019 when my credit card expired, I missed a few payments (never got an email), eventually, I updated my email and restored the device protection, I guess? Either way, the same thing, gave me a discount code to go buy a new doorbell. I wish I didn't invest so heavily into Ring in my house, to costly to go buy a new system (which they know), they see that I have 7 devices throughout my house and have no interest in making it right. This company is a scam since Amazon bought it, I can tell you Jamie who created Doorbot would be ashamed of how customers are treated.

Ongelooflijk dat je een abonnement moet afsluiten zodat dat ding kan doen waar je um voor gekocht hebt. Abonnement is bijna net zo duur als waar sommige providers onbeperkt internet voor leveren. Prutsers!!! Ik wou dat er bij mij eerder een belletje was gaan rinkelen dan had ik gewoon een bel van Action aangeschaft. Veel voordeliger en doet hetzelfde zonder abonnement. Ik zou echt niemand Ring aanbevelen!!
