Subscription price increases 50%
I have just received an email with the subscription increase from £35 to £50 per device! How on earth 50% increase is reasonable? After paying hundreds of pounds for your devices now I am forced to pay hundreds for to use it. This is just a huge customer scam!!!

Deurbel stopt na abo en werkt pas weer als abo stopt
Ring onbereikbaar via email. Heel vervelend! Had abo genomen waardoor de beelden werden opgenomen. Opeens geen verbinding meer met het wifi netwerk. Vreemd en de chat mogelijkheid is een oplossing die helemaal niet werkt. Abo geld bij de bank teruggestort en ja hoor, opeens weer een werkende Doorbell. Dan no replay mail dat het abo is vervallen. Het apparaat werkt dus niet lekker maar dit is de eerste keer dat de wifi niet goed zou werken. Andere apparaten werken gewoon door. Dus het apparaat is uitstekend. De ondersteuning is knudde. Via email kan blijkbaar niet. Vreemd toch die service?

Systeem werkt super (met abonnement)
Systeem werkt super! Zolang je maar een abonnement hebt. Er is weinig duidelijkheid over wat de functionaliteit is wanneer je kiest voor géén abonnement. En dat weet ik nu: - geen beelden terug kijken - regelmatig krijg je geen melding (op telefoon) als iemand aanbelt. - heel heel veel spookmeldingen van de bewegingsmelder. En dat valt me wel tegen van hen. Er wordt zeer bewust geknoeid met de kwaliteit van het systeem wanneer je kiest om het abonnement niet te verlengen. Het is werkbaar, maar de de aanschafprijs niet waard. Achter gezien had ik graag voor een duurder alternatief merk gegaan.

Waste of time and expense…
Works well for about a month then suddenly stops because they want monthly or yearly fees. Complete rip off and won't be recommending to anyone. Buy yourself a wireless doorbell - 10x easier and same result!

You will NEVER get rid of ring
Although the ring doorbel itself is not the worst product (but not really good either), trying to get rid of your account is practically impossible. You can cancel your account (and no longer receive anoying emails) but you need the app again to verify it is you. Only, the app does not "recognize" your device and so you can no longer access your account to update or delete it. Customer support looks OK untill you actually try to use it. The ring products are at best a cover up to get to your personal data that you won't be able to update or delete. Yes, YOU cannot access YOUR data! Beware of this before you consider buying (and creating an account) with Ring. My advice: DON'T!

Den Support von Ring kann man absolut vergessen. Nicht der Deutschen Sprache mächtig, alles muss man wie bei einem Kleinkind wiederholen. Am Ende waren die 30 min. absolute Verschwendung, weil ich mit meinem Problem (die Intensität des Lichtsensors einzustellen) kein Stück weiter bin. Die Produkte sind Top, aber der Service ist grottenschlecht. Da nützt es auch nichts, dass man selbst am Wochenende anrufen kann.

RING INTERCOM DURATA BATTERIE PESSIMA
ho recentemente installato RING INTERCOM funziona ma purtroppo la batteria non dura neppure una settimana. Questo riduce a 4 giorni l'affidabilità del prodotto. Se vai in vacanza per 1 settimana dal 5 giorno in poi non puoi piu rispondere al citofono di casa. L'idea è ottima il funzionamento discerto peccato che le batterie non durino.....a questo punto non ha un gran senso averlo

Ring Doorbell what a load of rubbish for the price you pay it simply is a rip off. Just changed my Router to a 5G router and with 24GH and 5GHz capability but the thing won’t connect to the new router. Tried the help centre in Philippines but firstly the person was really hard to understand and secondly after 1 hours they couldn’t resolve the issue of it not attaching itself to the home Wi-Fi. In the end he said, it must be your internet provider blocking Ring from connecting what a load of garbage, he said it must be the firewall. A mobile internet connection for HOME BROADBAND has no firewall attached and yet he as a technician couldn’t work that one out! The route did but it was set to low so changed it to firewall off and yet it still won’t connect to the router or any 2.4Ghz signal. RING is not a good company and at $200 it’s a right rip off. DON¨T BUY A RING PRODUCT!

The support is trash
The support is trash. They like to waste your time instead of providing a replacement. I’m never purchasing a ring again!! I even asked to speak to a supervisor and they are just as useless.

Nie wieder dirket bei RING !!!!
Was für ein Saftladen.. schlechter geht es kaum.. Verständigung (Deutsche Sprache) mit dem Support am Telefon unterirdisch.. schlechter Empfang, sehr leise... alles muss buchstabiert werden. Es dauerte 25 Min. !!! um ein Rücksendeetikett erstellen zu lassen.. und das Highlight des Ganzen... es geht NUR mit UPS zurück.. weit und breit keine Filiale, heißt für mich 7 km mit dem Auto um das Paket zu versenden.

Een half jaar heeft de deurbel gewerkt, daarna begon hij kuren te krijgen. Geen beelden meer terug kunnen kijken, detecteert geen mensen die binnen of buiten stappen, geeft géén melding op de chrime of op de telefoon als er aangebeld word. Na 5x contact op nemen met ring en 3 maanden verder zouden wij een nieuwe deurbel krijgen, dit heeft 1,5maand geduurd en heb zelf 4x contact moeten zoeken omdat ik nog steeds niks binnen heb gehad. Putje bepaaldje, een half jaar abbo betaald voor een service die je niet krijgt. Eindelijk de nieuw deurbel binnen ,maar deze gaan wij niet meer ophangen. We gaan over op Eufy!

Not weatherproof (Scotland)
I have had four ring cameras (3 plugin and 1 battery). The plugin cameras are poorly designed for being outside in the weather, with the only reliable one being the floodlight wired. The Spotlight Cam Pro Wired and the Stick up cam wired both have external plugs that fit into the body of the units. This means that it has an entry point for water to enter the unit - this makes it NOT weatherproof for Scotland. They will fail and go offline. I have sent one back, but the refund takes AGES!

I tried to contact Ring customer service because my device has been off line for three weeks. After finally getting someone at a call center outside the US, I was told that I could be given instructions on how to fix the issue myself. They are unable to help me and suggested I either find someone to fix the issue or hire someone to fix the issue. As a disabled veteran, I think that Ring along with these other big companies are deplorable. If I needed instructions on how to fix there product, I would be working for them. They contract the customer service (big joke) out to these foreign companies where the people barely speak english, NEVER have a supervisor or read from a prepared script and you the PAYING customer are left more frustrated then before you called. What a waste of time and money.

Ik wil het contract opzeggen door…
Ik wil het contract opzeggen door overlijden, ik ben degene die de afhandeling doet. Krijg iemand aan de lijn die ik slecht versta en mij vragen stelde over het nummer op de verpakking van de ring, en het telefoonnummer van de overledene. Sorry....ik heb alle gegevens behalve deze. Hij kon niets voor me doen dus heb ik het bedrag gestorneerd.

Doorbell live view functions…
Doorbell live view functions haphazardly, sometimes somebody is there, but most of the time you get a «  ghost », good or bad weather. Also its communication with the Internet is at random. We placed a signal booster next to it, no change. The thing has a mind of its own. A piece of expensive junk

Beware of the Subscription Service
I selected a Ring Video Doorbell - 2nd generation mainly for the purpose of detecting possible parcel theft at my front door. Whilst it did the job perfectly for the first month, I was dismayed to find out that all of my video detections were no longer being stored after that time. You have to pay an additional $50 per year, for the life of the product, to have up to 180 days of my video footage stored in the cloud. As a pensioner this is not an insignificant amount for me. Without the so-called “Ring Protect Plan“ there is no video available of any caller or incident that has occurred at my front door, which makes the whole purpose of the item useless. I can only get a live view of my front door. By the time the camera detects someone who may be stealing parcels and rings my phone, the intruder has gone and there is nothing to show. The item is only of use as a simple doorbell, for which you can buy much cheaper products. This product is expensive and the basically mandatory subscription service is a very costly extra. The item should at the very least come with a free 30 day local storage solution. I don’t know why the door bell camera can’t utilise the same technology as the dash cam, where a month’s worth of footage could be stored and continuously overwritten on a micro SD card in your phone.

Ring doorbell 2 plus gekocht wat een slecht product …!!! Gisteren geïnstalleerd alles werkte oké tot de volgende dag ineens geen bereik meer.Hebben WiFi versterker gekocht die zelfs er naast gezet en alsnog geen bereik en maar steeds vast lopen en hele configuratie opnieuw doen met nieuwe account werkt het ook niet.1 uur lang met de klantenservice gebeld die kon mij ook niet meer helpen alles geprobeerd en hij werkt niet !!! Koop deze troep niet mensen echt zonde van jullie geld !!!!!

Customer service is RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL. I’ve just set up my equipment & had some questions. It’s almost impossible to reach a live person. I finally got someone “Carl” on chat. He was very rude & ended the chat before I had finished my questions.

Worst customer service ever
Worst customer service ever! they say you have a warranty on the devices but if you face some technical issue or having malfunctioning, they just bs you with lot of good for nothing instructions and then try to sell you another one of their crappy devices called chime pro lol I bought two cameras recently, both on solar. One is working fine, charging the battery well while the other one is not charging. The one that is charging is having worse signal anyway. they both are int he same climate conditions, yet the so called "technical experts" first try to sound like they are understanding your problem and going to change your battery, then they keep you on hold for hours before telling you BS that they dont have any other option rather than trying to sell me a chime pro. going to throw these crappy devices away and switch to a better provider. No more ring.

A few years ago when I got my ring…
A few years ago when I got my ring cameras I loved them. As time went on they got worse and worse.from lagging video response to lives not working. The customer service has been the same too. Don't buy this service you'll soon regret it like everyone else.the good reviews are only from ppl early in their experience with this company.

Absolutely awful customer service
Absolutely awful customer service. I have a doorbell and chime. The chime is the 2nd one I have had as the first one stopped working after 13 months so had to buy a new one. The 2nd one has now broken after 10 months and I have contacted ring to get it sorted and have been told the technical team would call me back but I’ve heard nothing. Phone calls have cost me over £25 so far. Won’t be worth calling back as I could buy a new one for the cost of the calls. Don’t deal with this company they are awful to deal with.

1 Stunde 45 Minute im Chat diskutiert um die Sachen zurück zu schicken
Leute kauft wo anders, ich diskuztieren seit 1:45 mit dem Support weil die meine Kameras nicht im System finden und ich ständig Bilder schicken und die Mac und DSN Nummern geben soll. Kauft wo anders!!!

Bestellung bezahlt, aber nicht erhalten.
Habe vor Weihnachten ein Chime bestellt, Geld wurde abgebucht, keine Bestätigungs-Mail, Kundenservice in Bezug auf den Chat-Bot eine Katastrophe! Da ich nicht allzu gerne telefoniere, wollte ich dem Kundenservice schreiben und gleich zwei Screenshots von der erfolgten Überweisung als Beweis mitschicken... Fehlanzeige!
