Never use this company
Never use this company. Do not trust your home security with Ring. I ordered from Ring and never opened or used my devices. I requested return labels which Ring still has not sent me (over 72hrs). Their customer service lies to you and says one thing and then nothing happens. If this could get less than a star I would. Ring operates as a fraudulent business, breaking customer trust, and fails to meet basic standards between customer and company.

This is the worst device I have ever…
This is the worst device I have ever experienced. And to help put this in perspective, I can fly planes. It has taken over four hours to try to get it set up. And we're still working on it. It would not take my emails. Sent a code but no verification. A nightmare. It has been such a horrible experience I set up an email address specifically for this device. Feel free to contact me for more in-depth details. The user name for this dedicated email for Ring is fuckyou. And then my domain.

Worst customer service ever
I own ring doorbell at home and in my vacation home, where I also have cameras. I depend upon them to check water levels around house as well as general safety. For weeks I could suddenly not login to the app. Then I tried to contact customer service, but no phone numbers worked from my cell phone. So I used Skype and paid for 40 minutes talk to very friendly service agent. Who tried many things but gave up. Promised solution within 24 hours. That is five days ago. I will now dump my ring products and use Google Nest for cameras and another Doorbell. Worst service ever!

I would rate Ring a zero if I could
I would rate Ring a zero if I could. Not helpful at all when issues arise. One of the associates disconnected me from a chat after realizing he was incapable of helping me. Horrible experience with Ring. Stay away!

Bedrog eersteklas!
Na de proefperiode krijg je totaal geen beeld meer van wie er voor je deur staat. Dan moet je betalen. Support chat alleen in engels, strooien ze met bedragen in dollars 20 per maand of 200 per jaar. Daarna word je uit de chat gegooid. Wat een flutfirma. Je wordt gewoon beduveld!!!!!

NEVER, EVER, EVER buy a Ring device!
NEVER BUY A RING! Nothing but problems. Tells me there’s motion at the door but won’t let me check it. Just says “loading”. I close the app multiple times and open it. Still doesn’t work. When it finally does, the motion has occurred already and whoever is already gone. Not only useless, but not having one would be better. How frustrating it is to be told something is going on at your door but you can’t check it. Every single person I know who has a ring agrees with me. GARBAGE PRODUCTS. I called for support, they suggested a quick app??? Doesn’t matter, didn’t make a difference. I reset the thing, moved my whole network closer to my front door, all for this stupid little device. Tried a subscription. Made no difference. Although now I could at least see it after the fact long after it processed and uploaded for me to see on the app. But still too late. Sometimes I can open the app and see the camera right away. It’s not ALWAYS bad. But more often than not it is. And it’s ALWAYS when there’s an event going on. IE-when I want to see it most. I get an alert on my phone, I click on it. I spend the next five minutes getting pissed off wherever I am because these things should just work. They don’t. Save your money. Get a different brand. ANY other brand. All I’ve heard is crap experiences from everyone I know who has one of these pathetic things. I wish I would have just got a better one in the beginning. Honestly; I have a SriCam from Wish that I paid like 50 bucks for like 6 years ago. Its outside all year round and it STILL works. Works great, and when my Ring fails (which it usually does), I am ALWAYS able to access my SriCam. Ring =GARBAGE!!!!

Har flere kameraer og premium konto, og nu er min 2 år gamle doorbell pro blevet virkelig dårlig til at koble på wi-fi og knappen er revnet. Det er noget jeg kan se er ret almindeligt. Kundeservice var kolde og kan ikke levere reservedele. Så min konklusion er at der er langt billigere alternativer derude når man alligevel ikke får ekstra service for sine penge.

Do not waste your money on paperweights!
I have three stick up cameras and a doorbell ring. Everything worked up till last Thursday when the doorbell and the stick up camera stopped working. I spent over four hours doing everything possible with Technical Support at Ring with no resolve. So they said they were going to send me an extender for the chime. Then yesterday the other two cameras went down for no reason. I did another 3 hour phone call with Technical Support was sent to somebody with advance technology who told me basically that my Internet was not right and that I probably should contact them. In the meantime, I canceled the Ring subscription plan because this has been happening too much. I have many other items and cameras attached to my Internet but I decided to give my Internet provider a call early today. When I contacted them, they told me that everything was working fine and we even shut off the router and restarted it again and everything was fine except for the Ring equipment. I spent a lot of money over the last couple years. Getting these cameras and my doorbell now is completely corrupt and I have to have electrician come and fix it. Over the last two days I have spent a total of six hours. I will never get back to find out that it’s their problem and their server and has nothing to do with my Wi-Fi. So basically, now I have four paperweights. This morning I also spent another 2 1/2 hours talking to someone who troubleshoot it with me, which I’ve done five times and then finally gave me to the supervisor who is going to be sending me some more paper weights. Guess what we’re not gonna have any cameras with Ring anymore. I’m very disappointed at the customer service, because I was one of their very first clients way back when it started. So if anyone wants to buy three paper weights and a doorbell, let me know, but I would never recommend this company.

Im very disappointed with the Rings…
Im very disappointed with the Rings Security Camera product. Since 2021, I owned a Ring Door Pro security camera and a backyard Ring flood light Security Camera. For some reason both camera started malfunctioning last month. Now both camera started has a few second gap in the beginning every time it’s start recording. Also when it raining or fog outside, the background Flood light camera just started to have a fog mist when recording. My backyard flood camera is under a cover under of my roof to keep it safe from any rain or bad weather. I called Ring customer service about the defective camera. Twice they indicated they will email my on my camera issue and replacement out come. I have not heard from them. I then call them the third time and they informed me they can only give a 30% discount on my next camera purchase. I informed them, why would I want to buy another security camera from them if it only last for a couple of years. I informed them would you buy the same product again that malfunction in a couple of year. They replied, with no and they understand and feel bad. I told them that sound stupid to buy something again that broke down before. Make no sense. I also have another brand security camera for 4yrs with no subscription bc it’s has it own SD card memory. I never had one problem with this camera and it was way less than the ring. Ring customer service would not replace my malfunction cameras so I told them I will cancer my subscription and throw their camera in the garbage. I’m better off with my other brand camera. Do not buy Ring cameras unless you willingly to continue to buy replacement cameras in a few years.

Ring deurbel oxideert voor de 2e keer. Contact gehad met de klantenservice. Op het nieuwe product wat ik in 2022 ontvangen had, zat geen nieuwe garantie. De garantie op een nieuw product krijg je niet maar blijft op het eerst aangeschafte product staan. Conclusie, 2e vermoedelijke productfout, oxidatie van de buitenkant van de camera. Geen nieuw product krijgen, maar korting.

Disappointed in Ring
I got my Ring doorbell last year near the end.Only started using my Ring doorbell 2 since March 2023.Connected it to the solar Ring 2 panel and something fried in there causing wifi not to connect any longer.Spoke with Ring over an hour, contacted support 4 times.They promised me a Ring 4 replacement just to let me know today.Sorry they do not ship to South Africa.Wake up Ring!This is 2023 not 1902

Buitencamera met spotlight defect vlak na 2 jaar garantie: geactiveerd 3 dec 2021 en gebeld op 28 dec nadat camera en licht was uitgevallen begin dec Na contact gaf ring aan dat ze coulanceuitloop hadden van 20 dagen dus tot 23 dec …: 5 dagen later gemeld geen recht op vervanging zelfs met feestavond ertussen en uitval wel in deze coulanceperiode en dat voor apparaat van 259 E bij abonnementhouder met ook deurbel etc Waardeloze klantbehandeling ! Hopelijk ziet ring in dat je zo niet met klanten behoort om te gaan

Factuur ontvangen is verschrikkelijk
Om een factuur te ontvangen van een bestelling van 300 euro moet je een eerst een account aanmaken (wij hebben geen account nodig, het was een cadeau) vervolgens bel je een half uur met de klantenservice. Van hun administratie probleem, maken ze mijn probleem. Slechte klantenservice.

Do not buy this useless product
Do not buy this useless product. I bought a Ring indoor camera. It constantly tells me I am not the owner and need to transfer the device. It does not remember my passwords and there is no way to reach a human in customer service - when you try solve it on the app or online it’s just a big loop back to the website. This company has absolutely no idea what customer experience or service is and I would strongly advocate avoiding them.

Gemeinsame Nutzung schwierig.
Gemeinsame Nutzung kompliziert und geht nicht. Umständliche Einstellung WLAN. Anleitung oft nicht übersetzt. Geht mir auf die Nerven, weil man zu viel Zeit braucht. Hab es aussortiert und durch anderes System ersetzt.

Deurbellen worden zonder montage schroefjes geleverd
3 deurbellen besteld. Alle geleverd zonder montageschroefjes. Ring zegt dat ik deze zelf maar moet bestellen. Kortom.... koop een auto bij Opel. Deze wordt geleverd zonder motor. Opel zegt.... die moet je er apart bij bestellen want dat kunnen wij van Ring niet. Jullie leveren een incompleet product.

slecht klantenservice
Ontzettend slechte service vanuit ring. Ruim voor de feestdagen een bestelling geplaatst. De site gaf aan dat de producten dan voor de feestdagen binnen zouden zijn. Dit was nodig aangezien dit een kerstkado was. Echter werd het pakket maar niet geleverd dus contact gehad met de klantenservice. Daar zeiden ze alleen maar dat er nog geen track en trace code was dus dat ze me niet konden helpen. Inmiddels, na de feestdagen, nog steeds geen pakket maar ook geen track en trace code ontvangen. Dus opnieuw contact gehad met de klantenservice. Ze zeggen dat het pakket morgen binnen komt, maar geen excuses/compensatie oid. Is toch wel het minste wat je verwacht van zo’n bedrijf.

Rather try some alternatives...
After several attempts to tune up the ring doorbell camera, I'm giving up and trying to return it to the store. It's so frustrating and disappointing product. For example today the camera detected a delivery driver who put packages right in front of the doors. An hour later, the packages were not there, but there is no video recorded by the camera, even though it was exactly in front of it and whoever stole it had to walk directly to the camera. Instead, this peace of crap will send me 10 notifications a day for motion detected when a car is passing on the street - there are hundreds of cars on the street every day but the camera select some and sends me a notification. Would not recommend this product to anyone.

Zorg ervoor dat klanten ook gebruik kunnen maken van iDeal bij het afsluiten van een abonnement ipv creditcard. Zo word een abonnement toegankelijker. Hierdoor missen jullie veel klanten.

SCHLECHTESTER SERVICE DEN ICH JE ERLEBT HABE. FINGER WEG!!!
Ich habe ein Produkt bei Ring bestellt was ich am Ende aber wieder zurückschicken wollte. Es hat mich geschlagene 3 Anrufe gekostet (1 Stunde) bist ich ein Retourenlabel erhalten hatte. Das Deutsch und Englisch der Mitarbeiter war miserabel. Sowas habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Dann habe ich das Paket zurückgeschickt und jetzt warte ich bereits seit 3 Wochen auf eine Gutschrift die nicht kommt. Auf Emails wird einfach nicht geantwortet. Ich weiß eigentlich nicht mehr weiter. Eigentlich müsste man ab jetzt einen Anwalt einschalten. FINGER WEG!!! Selbst wenn die Produkte gut sind. Bei so einem Service sollte man sich überlegen ob man sich darauf einlässt.
