Went to buy a $5 a month basic plan but before I paid for it, it was changed to a basic year plan. I did not know this had happened until I paid for it. Bloody scam! Then the website subscription would link to the app. What a waste of money! Video quality is average at best. Other products out there for way cheaper and far far better.

I bought 2 Ring Stick Cam Pros. They are close to being useless even though I spent almost $400. I didn’t even bother calling customer service cause I knew I was screwed. Better luck next time. Awful product because my devices are constantly “offline” even though they’re less than 20 feet from the router.

I purchased multiple products from ring…

I purchased multiple products from ring two years ago. I never purchased a plan and never intended to. Recently the ring chime stopped working. The “ring “ app has allowed me to switch between disarm home or away. It seems like ring has removed these options unless you purchase a plan. I was about to purchase two more cameras but if I can’t easily control them I will not be investing in any more ring equipment.

Adapter besteld, betaald, wordt niet bezorgd. Ze betalen niet uit zichzelf terug.

25 november een adapter voor video deurbel 2 besteld. Direct online betaald. Wordt niet in Nederland bij de Pb bezorgd. Ze hebben de bezorging geannuleerd, nu 6 december zie ik niets meer bij tracking. 1 december heb ik hun klantenservice gebeld, die wilden dat ik na het weekend terug ging bellen. Nu is dus die hele tracking koers niet meer te zien. Ik zie al waar dit op uit loopt, niet terug betalen. Nooit de adapter gehad.

Zeer slechte ervaring

Zeer slechte ervaring. Black Friday aanbieding besteld en een bevestiging gekregen op 3 - 5 werkdagen leveren. Bij uitblijvende levering gebeld met de klantenservice, het product blijkt niet meer leverbaar echter wél in een andere kleur. Klantenservice medewerker raad mij ten eerste aan om een ander product te bestellen, dat vele malen duurder is! Op mijn verzoek de andere kleur dan te leveren is na 30 minuten aan de lijn het antwoord: ik dien mijn order te annuleren waarbij ik het geld zal terug krijgen en ik mag een nieuwe bestelling plaatsen maar NIET meer tegen de aanbiedingsprijs maar voor de originele prijs.

een jaartje niet gebruikt

mijn beveiligingscamera werkte goed. Alleen had m een jaartje niet gebruikt. Toen wou ik m weer gebruiken, op een nieuwe telefoon. Dat lukt dus niet. En op de oude telefoon nu ook niet omdat hij je dwingt om een nieuwere IOS te gebruiken; dus nieuwe telefoon. Aan de telefoon zit ook niemand die kan helpen ermee. Dus nu heb ik er niets meer aan. Zonde dat zo'n mooie camera door zulke onintelligente mensen op de markt komt.

Day light results are good

Day light results are good. Night time, not so good. Customer support, poor. Short battery life using any settings that produce good security. Lastly, they wont accept videos of delinquent troublesome teen age pranks on the neighborhood sharing site. Censorship in my view.

Poor quality ring doorbell it is blurry and hard to see faces to identify them. It seems to record when it feels like it, will record someone going around side of house but not when they come back the same way.

Le produit semble prometteur, malheureusement beaucoup de problèmes/inconvénients. L’un des principaux problèmes est l’abonnement payant pour pouvoir visualiser les enregistrements, alors que la concurrence propose un service gratuit via une carte SD pour la plupart. Les problèmes de connexion rendent l’appareil souvent inconfortable à utiliser : la connexion est souvent mauvaise selon Ring alors que la box (fibre) n’est qu’à 6m au plus. Il est assez fréquent de ne pas réussi à se connecter en direct, l’application charge en vain … Il y a tout de même des points positifs : - L’appareil semble robuste - Selon le modèle choisi, le contenu de la boîte est assez fourni (façade de rechange, platine d’inclinaison de la sonnette …) - Les notifications arrivent en instantané sur l’application - Lors de la résiliation de mon abonnement annuel, Ring m’a remboursé toute la période non utilisée. C’est extrêmement rare de nos jours !

Ring is the worst they sent me the wrong part for my stick up camera once I called again to get the correct item they tell me my item has no longer warranty so they want me to pay for the item that they initially sent me wrong. They are a sketchy business to work with. I called them multiple times and they would always tell me that their item was out of stock and now that I spoke to them today they tell me it’s no longer in warranty.

slechtste klantenervaring ooit

20 november Ring Din transformator besteld. In bevestigingsmail staat 3-5dagen levertijd ivm Corona. 29 November nog niet binnen, gebeld met klantenservice, optie Nederlands gekozen, maar krijg Engelssprekende dame aan de lijn die vraagt hoe het weer is maar na 40 minuten niets oplost. Volgende dag weer 40 minuten gebeld en aangegeven dat het geëscaleerd zou worden. Vandaag 1 december 45 minuten gebeld met klantenservice. Resultaat: Order wordt door Ring geannuleerd en ik mag het opnieuw bestellen! Laat ik het maar bij de feiten houden.

Oplichting? Zeer slechte klantenservice!

Ring beltrafo voor de deurbel Pro 2 binnen 4 maanden kapot. Klantenservice gebeld. Na 45 minuten aan de lijn zou er eem nieuwe toegestuurd worden. Ik krijg echter een box zonder de trafo er in toegestuurd! Na wederom bellen en 50 minuten voor niks aan de lijn krijg ik WEDEROM alleen de beschermbox van de trafo toegestuurd en NIET de beltrafo zelf. Compleet radeloos na deze zeer slechts klantenservice ervaring in het Nederlands (ergens op Curacao!) en in Engeland. Toen zelf voor 30 euro maar een trafo gekocht welke na 1 week nog steeds niet is aangekomen!! Zo slechts dit!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Didn't even get the product. Took my money, didn't send order confirmation. Then refused to let me buy a second time with the BF/CM sale price I originally bought at after my money was returned (interesting the money could be returned without accepting the order in the first place). Customer service rep blamed me for this and gave major sass.

Piece of junk

Piece of junk. Every time I turn around one of my devices is offline. Doorbell… flood light cams… so ridiculous. None of my other devices do this - just Ring … and they are all hard wired. Regret buying.

Ordered a camera charger 45 days ago

Ordered a camera charger 45 days ago, used it 2 days ago and it’s not charging the batteries. Was on the phone with customer support for 1.5 hours yesterday with a final answer to use the cord that came with the battery only and if that charges them then call back and we will send you a replacement. Well guess what? Then don’t do replacements

Zojuist een chat gehad met klantenservice van ring. Ik had een goede aanbieding gekocht in november maar mijn huis nummer vergeten. Factuur adres was hetzeflfde. Hebben ze het pakket terug gestuurd en ring kan dit nu niet meer opsturen. Zo zo slecht. En nu maar zien of het geld terug komt!

Waste of money

Waste of money. I will say, the picture on their cameras is good quality, but the most basic thing is you cannot view video at a specific time or day if a motion was not captured, EVEN IF YOU PAY FOR SUBSCRIPTION. Which almost makes having them pointless. Thankfully I have other cameras on my house that I can go to whatever day and time. I have a ring doorbell and a floodlight camera, somebody ran past my doorbell camera and tried to break into my car yet no motion was detected by either camera. Thankfully I was able to go back on my other cameras to view footage of the person, but without those cameras I would have never saw it. It’s not always going to capture motion, so the fact it’s not continuously recording and you could miss an entire incident is a safety concern. Also their cameras aren’t cheap. You’re spending hundreds of dollars for nothing. You can get cameras half the price at other places with just as good quality picture that continuously record. Spend your money elsewhere.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I bought a "pro" doorbell only to discover that the power requirements were such that it requires a resistor installed in the doorbell transformer. Well I thought, it won't affect me because I'll be using a plug in transformer. I ordered their transformer since the generic DC transformers have the same "limitation" as a doorbell transformer. OK then, I then discovered that the Ring doorbell plug in transformers are supposed to work without further modification. So I ordered one on the Ring site. It looked convenient to use amazon pay so I did that. Somehow their system balled up the delivery address so after many weeks still no delivery. I called and they ran me through the ringer authenticating who I am according to their Indian call center script which was very time consuming and dogmatic. I found out that they are trying to deliver the product to a non-existent address! Furthermore, they will not refund the amount I spent unless I spens another half hour at least some undetermined time in the future when they determine that I'm "telling the truth" about it not being my address!!! Life is too short to be on hold for a screw up that THEY are responsible for. Needless to say I will be switching to a competitor's products. Luckily there are now many alternatives.

Waardeloos

Waardeloos: twee keer een Ring proberen te bestellen, maar elke keer wordt de bestelling geannuleerd zonder opgaaf van redenen. Wel betaald, maar moet nog maar zien of ik die ruim 200 euro weer terug ga krijgen. Laat maar zitten dan hoor, die deurbel!

My ring 3 doorbell has brokenn3 times. It does not charge after a while. I've been waiting for a new one for almost 3 months. When I call customer service they say they are out of stock. I told them to upgrade then because I've been without a Camara for my door for almost 3 months and they keep saying they are out of stock on everything. Really bad customer service and liers

Have a ring doorbell and Ring floodlight without a plan they are worthless I also have Blink cameras and you can save on a card and doesn’t cost you anything I would not recommend Ring to anyone would recommend Blink

Probleem met ring deurbel gehad. Telefoonnummer opgezocht en ik kwam in contact met een engelstalige juffrouw. Ik praatte Nederlands en kwam in contact met nederlands pratende man. Probleem niet opgelost maar wel een rekening van €22,00 . Schandalig !!!

Übergriffige App und Firma

Diese Bewertung gilt nicht der Kamera, ihrer Qualität oder sonstigem, mitgeliefertem Zubehör: Sie gilt einzig und allein der übergriffigen Art, wie die Ring App wie ein Datenkrake alle Informationen des Benutzers in sich einsaugt, *bevor* man sie auch nur überhaupt benutzen/testen konnte. Wir alle kennen die datenhungrigen Dienste, und sicherlich es ist auch verständlich, dass Datenschutz mit einer internetfähigen Kamera richtig und gut ist. Aber hier wurde eindeutig eine rote Linie überschritten. Man kann ausschließlich mit einer App - iOs oder Android - darauf zugreifen, es gibt dann eine Zwangsregistrierung ... und hier geht der Tanz los: Mit Adresse, Name, Ort usw. Wenn man das alles hinters ich gebracht hat hagelt es "Verifizierungsnummern", 2 Faktor-Authorisierung . OK. Dann die Telefonnummer. Und schließlich das Abo. Und das alles für genau was? Ach ja, eine Kamera, die man sich gerade von seinem eigenen Geld gekauft hat. Aber das ist nicht alles. Wenn man es bis hierher geschafft kommt dann das Zwangsabo für monatlich knapp 4 Euro, damit man seine Daten sichern und teilen kann. Diese Firma ist der fleischgewordene Albtraum eines Datenkraken, gierig und vollkommen unangemessen werden hier Daten aufgehäuft, Forderungen gestellt und alles in allem ein äußerst fragwürdiges Usererlebnis geschaffen. Zitat aus dem Internet (netzpolitik . org ): „In Deutschland befindet sich die Nutzung von Ring-Produkten in der juristischen Grauzone, manche Funktionen seien hierzulande sogar verboten“ Diese Firma kann man als halbwegs klar denkender Mensch nur Boykottieren und ich kann jedem nur von einem Kauf ihrer Produkte abzuraten. Die Kamera geht zurück, einen Teil meiner Daten habt ihr leider schon. Postkapitalismus à la China de Luxe. Wo ist hier das Kotz-Smiley?
