Oh, hätte ich nur zuvor diese Kritiken gelesen! Jetzt kann ich nur bestätigen, was andere schon erlitten. Da es sich nicht um Einzelfälle händelt, kann es nur Firmenpolitik sein, Kunden daran zu hindern, eine Rücksendung zu veranlassen oder ihr Problem zu lösen (Sprachprobleme, Sicherheitsanforderungen wie bei einer Schweizer Bank für Schwarzgeldkonten, Engelsgeduld,...)

Unbelievably poor customer service
Unbelievably poor customer service. Ring logged me out and I couldn’t log back in on either the app or ring.com. Went through all the steps on line with no luck. Called them and it took 3 days to resolve. Was on the phone for over 2 hours the first time, getting passed on and having to answer the same questions. I finally got an email and a call, at 10:30 pm at night!!!!. I took the call as I wanted this fixed. They ended up having to delete me from the shared user cameras and I had to download a third party authentication app as the error is in their 2 factor verification. Terrible software and inefficient resolution to the problem. One of the accounts I’m a shared user on also ha the same issue. I asked the agent about and he said she could reach out to get it resolved quickly as now he knows how to fix it. (During my ‘process’ they kept having to send me codes and turn off two factor etc, and there was a lot of trial attempts). She emailed and he said he is unable to call out and she could call the 800 number. We explained she hasn’t had access to her camera for weeks and he said any agent can help her. She emailed him to explain that she’s already called and the agent hadn’t been helpful and got a response that said ‘this mailbox is no longer active, call our 800 number’. It ridiculously horrible and unacceptable that a company that sells security products doesn’t offer support to their customers, not to mention glitchy software that logs you out and won’t let you log back in. Will be looking for other options moving forward to replace Ring cameras with a more reputable company.

Don’t buy ring products that company are scammers and thieves I had a situation That makes me believe this company is a scam company I’ll share a little can’t share a whole lot cause I plan on getting legal assistance to file a civil lawsuit against ring So they locked me out of my account cause they accused me of doing business with someone they don’t do business with I don’t do business with anyone I’m disabled I had 2 cameras door bells and they locked me out I had no access to them so I went online and contacted them they said I had to email Amazon sancations they get my account restored I did they they came back with I needed to send my birth certificate social security number proof of address and income Then they restored my account then when I tried to access the my cameras they needed to update so I did them all of a sudden they stopped working completely and they said they are to old that they are not under warranty as well I would need to buy new ones to work properly what a coincidence for both of them to stop working and doing the same exact thing the only thing they could offer me was a 5% discount on a new camera so I went online and bought a used. Want to see what happens if I get another ring product I got another ring doorbell. I couldn’t connect to the Internet. They wanted me to register the product so I did once I registered and put it under my name. Guess what the camera stopped working correctly and again they offered me to buy another one, but that’s the only thing they could do is give me a discount. what a coincidence on third ring door camera just because they are out of warranty. They stop working correctly so They can get you to buy new ones in my book that’s a scam I have other camera systems. I have a $30 camera that has lasted me over four years with no problems whatsoever. This leads me to believe ring, which is owned by Amazon is a scam a few weeks after I sent my information that they ask for to restore my account. All of a sudden I’m getting charges on Amazon and other websites because guess what they have my information. Beware of this company, I will pursue legal action and sue Amazon/Ring if there’s any legal help lawyer/Attorney that can help me through this. I would really appreciate if you contact me I need help to get this company accounted for their actions they doing to me I’m sure there’s other people who have gone through this.

Telefonfolter, um die Rücksendung durchführen zu können
Um eine Rücksendung zu veranlassen, muss man über 30 Minuten in der Telefonhotline u. a. seine Mailadresse, die Serialnummer der Geräte und die Bestellnummer buchstabieren. Zusätzlich musste ich parallel eine Account bei Ring anlegen. Dieses Vorgehen ist bodenlos, so etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt, nur um eine Rücksendung zu veranlassen!

Amazon delivered a package yesterday…
Amazon delivered a package yesterday right in front of my ring doorbell on the front porch and it didn’t even show or alert my phone or iPad! After I received the email from Amazon that the package was delivered, the ring doorbell did show me going out to get the package! That’s pretty sad service!

Retour sturen wordt heel moeilijk gemaakt.
De moeite die je moet doen om je bestelling retour te sturen is zeer klant onvriendelijk. Je moet bellen met de klantenservice die zeer slecht te verstaan is door een zeer luidruchtige achtergrond, je email adres stellen, een verificatie code die per email word verstuurd oplezen, je adres nogmaals oplezen en vervolgens ook nog de MAC nummers van de apparaten die je retour wilt sturen letter voor letter spellen.

I have this Ring bell for a while. It suddenly stop working I called the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AT RING. I WAS ON THE CALL OVER AND HOUR AND THE AGENTS LINE WAS KEEP ON DISAPPERAING. AND AFTER MORE THEN AN HOUR SHE OFFERED MY SOME DISCOUNT ON THE NEW DEVICE. I DO NOT WANT A NEW DEVICE I NEEDED THE FIX. IT IS NOT GOOD BUSINESS TO OFFER A NEW DEVICE WITH THE SMALL DISCOUNT RATHER THEN TAKING CARE OF AN EXISTING CUSTOMER. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND RING TO ANY NEW CUSTOMER, IT IS A RIP OFF. PLEASE CHECK OTHER BRANDS ON AMAZON, THEY ARE MUCH LESS WITH THE HIGH CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. RING IS TOO BIG TO TAKE CARE OF EXISTING AND OLD LOYALE CUSTOMERS. SORRY RING YOU GUYS LOST YOUR REPUTATION.

Verweigern Garantie, Support spricht kein Deutsch
Betrüger in meinen Augen...und der Support ist inkompetent und spricht kein Deutsch...und verweigert die erweiterte Herstellergarantie, die es laut Homepage dauerhaft während eines ring protect plus Abos gibt...interessiert den Support aber nicht...Nie wieder Ring.....werde versuchen alle Geräte zu verkaufen und den Anbieter zu wechseln!!! Die Homepage ist übrigens auch peinlich für einen der Marktführer, tote Links, stellenweise schlecht übersetzt ...

ALLES unwiderruflich GELÖSCHT
Bei mir konnte der Betrag von 3,99€ der benötigt wird, um die Videos zu speichern, einmal nicht vom Konto abgebucht werden, ich bemerkte das ein paar Tage später, behob das Problem sofort aber ALL meine Aufnahmen sind ausnahmslos gelöscht. Ich habe sofort den Kundenservice kontaktiert, der mir in sehr gebrochenem Deutsch (ich hatte Probleme, ihn zu verstehen& vice versa, auch die Verbindung war sehr schlecht und ich bin mir nicht sicher ob ich für den Anruf nicht sogar auch zahlen musste (lt. Ring Homepage ist das möglich, es gibt keine genaueren Auskünfte)) erklärte, dass das System sofort alles löscht, wenn es nur EINMAL Schwierigkeiten mit der Abbuchung gibt. Alles, all meine Videos sind jetzt also unwiderruflich weg, dafür dass ich Jahre (!!) ordnungsgemäß und pünktlich ohne Probleme das Ring-Abo bezahlt habe. Danke für nichts!! Ganz schrecklich

Bitte machen Sie sich keine Sorgen, das ist der Standardspruch. Mehrmals mit Support gesprochen mit keinem der bis jetzt gesprochenen Angestellten der Firma Ring der der deutschen Sprache mächtig war. Bei meinem Problem mit der Stick up cam war der junge Mitarbeiter überfordert da ich mittlerweile mehr über die cam und Einstellungen wusste als er. Nach 40 Minuten habe ich aufgelegt , ich wusste genauso so viel wie vorher . Fazit support Katastrophe aber bemüht . Leider konnte keiner helfen .

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. The representative did not know what he was doing. I was put on hold 6 times in 15 minutes and i finally just hung up!! What a bid disappointment. Going to change service

Please avoid them.
I came here to write a review on why Ring products are the worst and why I truly regret getting them; I bought $1500 worth of products and every single one of them, including my account, is no longer working; after spending hours with their support, they simply stated that they don't know what the problem is. But, based on what I've seen here, they don't care about their customers. Please avoid them, in my opinion.

It's a Trap!
We initially had Ring for our home and it was working fine under an annual plan and it was fine until we decided to go with Google. Our shortcoming was that we forgot to cancel the account. So when our renewal came in, my wife called customer support in an effort to cancel it. Ring was unable to do so, despite providing them with all the information on the billing account info. Year 2 of renewal comes up again I was able to successfully retrieve username and password. But when I logged in, I was told to check my email for the verification code. Checked my email to click on the link and oops, message said they cant send the code because my browser or app on my device is different. Yeah, that happens when you upgrade! Gives me host of options so I go for customer support. Again, asks for a lot of information including the requirement for me to verify thru Amazon.com. I did not realize how much it took just to get your account cancelled. Most accounts just require the proper credentials and an additional layer of security. It seems like Ring wants to test the resolve of its customers. If you ain't determined, they will just be happy to milk you for those fees!

Painful customer service has turned me off being a custmer
I bought two cameras through ring.com -- they came with the wrong chargers. Took over and hour and 2 agents to finally get my return "processed" but will take 48 hours to get a return label. Highly doubt this will happen. Both agents ask for an unnecessary amount of information, I would have re-ordered the two cameras but after this experience I will not be for fear of any future issues! So very painful, for a tech company they couldn't even see the other agents conversation with me where I already gave them all the info they had (the other agent only processed half my refund!) I've got two cameras with them currently (no issue ordering through amazon, but ring.com is very painful) the service is ok... bit glitchy but I've lost confidence in them now. =( Sad because I like the user friendly way to set up cameras where I need.

RING cameras inferior
I purchased two outdoor RING cameras with solar panels and am very dissatisfied with RING. Both cameras fog up as the night progresses; to the point where you cannot see anything and if you switch wifi to another router, you literally have to take the cameras down and reset them. My Nest IQ cameras I put up in 2018 and have NEVER had to touch them when switching wifi.

Niet kopen. Ziet er mooi uit maar werkt niet.
De ring 4 ziet er gelikt uit met een duidelijk beeld. Maar communiceren als er gebeld word mooi niet dus. Helpdesk gebeld en hun reactie dan licht dat aan uw mobile verbinding. Verteld dat ik een nieuwe IPhone 14 gebruik en maximaal signaal heb maar dat de software maar blijft draaien om verbinding te krijgen. Men kon me niet verder helpen kreeg ik te horen. Snel dus maar verwijderd deze bel en een ander merk laten installeren die perfect werkt.

The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER
The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I bought a doorbell as a gift, it was unwanted so I had to ring to request a returns label…. (What system is that) - the process was so long just for a simple return for an unused product! First phone call lasted 40 minutes and assured me a returns label would be sent within 24 hours l, it never happened. I had to call back for another 40 mins - repeating all my information. They asked for my order number however I never received one so gave the the docket number they said they couldn’t find it, and was i sure I ordered from their website? Eventually they admitted that the docket number was correct, after heated conversations - refused to transfer me to call centre in my home country. Made wait whilst they call shipping company to confirm - what is their to confirm I have the products and serial numbers in my possession? In saying that, still not shipping label has been sent to me, I have been waiting for 4 days now which is ridiculous in this day & age. The most awful , incompetent service I have ever experienced. Do not buy! If you ever need real help about the product, I am seriously concerned about their abilities to offer it to you!

Schwachsinn hat Methode
Eine Firma, die ihre Dienste in Deutschland anbietet sollte sich vor Augen führen, dass man auch in der deutschen Sprache kommunizieren sollte. Vielen ist es nicht möglich Englisch unmittelbar zu verstehen. Auch ist man oftmals Bittsteller und die Verbindung mit Amazon ist auch nicht gerade von Vorteil. Ohne Abo eine sinnlose Einrichtung, teure Kameras ohne Aufzeichnung. Also knapp 100,- noch oben drauf und das Jahr für Jahr. Ein Stern ist schon fast noch zuviel.

Leider ganz schlechte Erfahrungen mit der Qualität und dem Support (Unterstützung/ Hilfe)
Ring verlangt per Mail das Kreditkartendaten aktualisiert werden müssten. Habe ich versucht, geht aber nicht. Ich habe per Telefon, per Chat Kontakt aufgenommen (die Wartezeiten sind min. 35Minuten) aber helfen konnte dennoch niemand. Ring hat nicht mal eine E Mailadresse an die man schreiben kann. Ich kann Ring nicht empfehlen, weil die einfach nur Geld mit ihrem Abo (Aufzeichnung von der Kamera) verdienen wollen. Andere Anbieter arbeiten mit einem Speichermedium was NICHTS kostet. Mit der Videotürklingel habe ich schon immer das Problem das die Sprachqualität echt richtig schlecht ist. Ich hatte damals lange Kontakt mit Ring, aber das Problem wurde nicht behoben und man hat es mit einem Rabatt für ein neues Gerät versucht abzutun. Also wieder nur Geld machen. Echt Mies:-(

Supporthotline lächerlich
Um eine Rücksendung innerhalb 14 Tage zu veranlassen, war ein Telefonat über 53 (!!!) Minuten notwendig. Positiv zu erwähnen: 1 Minute hat es nur gedauert bis ein Mitarbeiter am Telefon war. Dass dieser dann allerdings fast 1 Stunde für eine simple Rücksendung benötigt ist an Lächerlichkeit nicht zu überbieten. Das erste und letzte mal, dass wir bei Ring direkt gekauft haben.

I ordered 2 ring cameras on 8/22/23, and rec'd confirmation within 24-48 as stated on their website, and that's the only thing that was not a lie. On the 8/24 I rec'd a email stating part of my order has shipped. On 8/28 another email stating, "Still working on the order" and the same email on the 29th. I called the customer service number on the 29th just to clarify what was up with my purhase. First they could not find my email address in there system, after 20 minutes they knew who I was, then was told my order had been delivered, I was even told that there was a pic of the delivery site, and to check my email. Then it changed to my order won't be delivered until 9/5/23. The customer service is poor to say the least. Why do the reps have to lie. I will be taking my business somewhere else.

Er is werk aan de winkel voor Ring van Amazon. Gaat niet fijn. Abonnement afsluiten gaat via webbrowser en kan niet via Android telefoon??. IPhone kan wel? Wat is dit. En waar, hoe zou je een abonnement weer kunnen opzeggen als je nergens kunt communiceren?! Verken eerst de markt voordat je een belcamera aanschaft.
