Waardeloze rommel
Je betaald de hoofdprijs voor een matige kwaliteit. Ondanks dat je een abonnement hebt neemt de Ring deurbel alleen beelden op die voor je deur gebeuren. Nu is er wat gebeurd 2 meter verder dan onze deur maar is het niet mogelijk om die beelden terug te kijken. Waardeloze rommel

Koop niet bij Ring direct!
We hebben een ring thuis die goed werkt. Daarom nog 1 besteld voor moeder die er niet mee om kan gaan en die willen we terugsturen. En toen begonnen de problemen. Het retourproces is een drama. Nooit zoiets meegemaakt. Het heeft me wel 10 belletjes gekost om het geld te krijgen. En elk belletje door allerlei beveiligingsstappen etc. Uren aan kwijt geweest. Nooit maar echt nooit meer ga ik iets direct bij Ring kopen. Ik vind het product prima en raad aan het bij een andere partij te kopen.

If the Wi-Fi goes down you're screwed!! Literally just got off the phone with their customer service and they were useless . I've only had the rind going on two months. Unfortunately because Xfinity/Comcast is just as useless I've had to replace my internet modem three times since getting the ring doorbell. Two modems ago the SOS feature was avail able but when I didn't see it again after setting up the device for the third time I just thought If I played with and went into the settings I couldn't find it. About an hour ago a strange man walked through my yard and of course now I can't access the sos feature if I need to call the police. I find the customer service number happy to find a persons answers but was of no help. She asked me if I had another phone to log in and see if the feature popped up. When I asked if the sharing access feature would help she said no. She then tells me to turn off Wi-Fi use cellular data and try to see if it pops up still nothing. After a few more silly ideas that I could've and did try myself already she tells me I have to pay $20 to use the feature I call BS because before the Wi-Fi went down three times I had the feature already. Now I'm wide awake with my three year old in my bed pissed off and helpless

Laatste tijden krijg ik minder beelden te zien als ik of mijn familie uit huis gaan. Sommige beelden voor mijn huis geeft ring niet door. Zou niemand bevelen dit te kopen miskoop!

Customer services was rude talk over the top of you don’t want to help you then hangs up on client also the client can’t get a word in then ring refuse to help the customer it’s really bad business I wouldn’t recommend this company whatsoever

Installatie is onmogelijk, geen installatie guide aanwezig. Bijna het huis in de fik gezet. Als laatste krijg ik ineens spam berichten toen ik mijn telefoonnummer moest doorgeven aan deze onderneming. Lijkt erop dat werknemers zich bezig houden met frauduleuze praktijken

I purchased the monthly plan for $4.00 but instead they took the yearly amount out of my account. I called on the 3rd and was told I'd get a refund and it's the 26th and still no refund.

I have used Ring since June 2022
I have used Ring since June 2022. May 25, 2023 it suddenly had a new log in screen that is awful. It is as if you are in a car driving on a road through trees. The effect is dizzying. Ring was on my phone and I rely on being able to access it seamlessly. I suddenly couldn't access anything. Apparently there was an "upgrade." I had no notification. Also there was a new rule that people who are on ring more than 30 days and don't log out have to log in again. Lucky me! I could tell someone was in my backyard but I couldn't see who it is because Ring won't allow me to log in even though I am using the ID and password that I created! Is this a positive step for a security system? Is this what you want to experience? Then buy Ring. I can also say the app is stodgy. To reach the home screen all events and cameras have to be exited out of. Loading of events can be very slow. I'm sorry I got it.

Ordering Ring Devices can be a nightmare
Theyre telling me all the order information online in my Ring account is inaccurate and hasn't been updated and there is a delay till October 1. Seriously a 10-month delay in ordering a product? So even during Covid it wasn't as bad with ANY vendor I ordered from. Absolutely unacceptable that I had to be on the phone for hours, just to determine that my item which I paid for didn't ship even though it still says it will when in reality it is 10 months delayed. I have 6 ring devices
I have 6 ring devices, it is so hard to get verified to get any help. So I will slowly start replacing my devices with their competitors devices. It's so sad that they don't care about the hand that feeds them.

Naively banking on the Ring name
Naively banking on the Ring name, I had my credit card out and ready to purchase when I called their Sales / Customer Service line for a recommendation of systems based on my needs. I was met with such apathy and unprofessionalism that I politely excused myself from the call. Having no background in this technology, I nonetheless could have made the sale to someone like me with ease, just by listening, acting civilly, and asking some obvious questions. They actually talked me out of using Ring in just one minute.

Habe 2 Floodlight-Cams, die Cams funktionieren soweit ganz gut, ABER die Software (!), die App, Browser-Login absolut unterirdisch schlecht, umständlich und langsam. Bis man da drin ist, ist das Haus vermutlich leegeräumt und es läuft dann schon "Rocky, Teil 38". Ab und zu nimmt die Cam was auf, ein anderes Mal nicht. Auch nicht, wenn wir nachts heimkommen. Werde den Schrott demnächst kündigen und auf was wirklich Zuverlässiges umstellen......, ist sein Geld und die Abo-Gebühren m. Ea. nicht wert!!!!

Double charging…
My 5 years old Ring door bell stopped working. I was charged $428 and change to replace it. t was for a service call, a new door bell and installation. Rip off. If the service man was here whay also charge for installation05?

Not worthy, is to expensive to for recording. I have to 2 dorbell in one place I ws trying to set up subscriptions but I been told it will cost me double amount. Ridiculous bad decision to buy them

After contacting ring several times…
After contacting ring several times telling them that I do not want my American Express card on file with them they totally disregarded what I asked them and tried to be sneaky and charge my card hoping I would not notice the $100.00 charge for their bogus yearly subscription, I had to contact them several times to reverse their charge and dispute the transaction with American Express. BEWARE!!!

A really horrible company like their parent company Amazon
Really horrible company, I ordered their Ring Car Cam on April 03rd, the product was in stock, 2 weeks later not having any update about the shipping information, I contacted Ring Customer Support to receive an update about the order, I chatted with a very condescending agent that told me the product was since in back order and that I will have to wait for delivery until May 21st, this was inconvenient but I decided to wait. Today May 19th not having an update yet, I decided to contact Ring support team again, first after spending time making all the OTP verification, they weren't able to see my order, then they finally localize on their system my order, and they told me I will have to wait until end of September to receive another update about the order since the camera is in back order. I decided to cancel the order which will take more than 7 days to get the refund per the agent ( while it took them instant to remove $238.49 from my card). this experience will lead me to stop using all my other ring products when my plans are over. Ring was a good company when I started to use them in 2017, they went down since they were bought by Amazon and provide the same poor customer service than their parent company.

Oplichters!
Als ik minder sterren zou kunnen geven, had ik dat gedaan. In de omschrijving van hun producten staat misleidende informatie. Dit ontdekten we toen we een zilver ring videodeurbel kochten en ontvingen. We belden naar het bedrijf waar we wel vriendelijk te woord werden gestaan door een medewerkster. Ik stuurde haar de info die op de site stond voor verheldering. Ze besprak het met haar leidinggevende en gaf aan dat de info op de site inderdaad verwarrend is en dat het niet klopt. Dit betekent dat er sprake is van misleiding. Hierover zullen wij dan ook een officiële klacht indienen. Toen vroegen wij om een retourlabel. Maar dit kon niet 'zomaar'. Ring heeft eigen regels die zeggen dat je eerst een account moet aanmaken voor ze een retourlabel kunnen sturen. Dus nu heb je een product waarmee ze hebben misleid, wat je dus niet wilt en je moet bij het bedrijf waar je niets mee te maken wilt hebben een account aanmaken om je geld terug te krijgen! Wat een schofterigheid..

Just a very frustrating product
Just a very frustrating product. Set up was long and laborious but ok, once done I thought I could relax. No, the device just disconnects for no reason periodically and I have to go though the whole long set up over and over again. Forget the share function as well, takes hours to follow the convoluted steps and then same thing, the shared user also gets disconnected periodically and has to start from scratch. Just one of those products that gets you seething.

If I could leave no stars, I would. I thought this was going to be a great thing to have, WRONG!! I have a ring video doorbell 3. It was not easy to install. When it was installed, it did NOT ring inside the house. If I am not within hearing distance of my phone, I have no idea if someone is at the door ringing the doorbell. Their "customer service" is a joke. I have called them repeatedly, and they are no help. Every time I call, they send me info on how to pick a door chime. USELESS. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ring. There are better and cheaper options out there.

Won’t work with VPN
I have 4 Ring cameras to monitor my house. Up until recently I was happy with Ring and the coverage the cameras provided. It was fairly easy to change settings from the app on my phone. Recently, however, Ring has changed something and the app no longer functions correctly whenever my VPN - another device for my protection - is on. I can not have security cameras that won’t play nicely with other security devices and will be switching to some other solution.

Ring, spotlight, cam plus. Plastic Chinese crap!
I purchased several of their products, including a spotlight camera, two years ago. It was good quality and a solid camera without any problems. Went to buy a new one now called spotlight cam plus total piece of plastic crap made in China. So sad to see this happened to a company‘s products

Ring keeps sending me payment updates. I can not get online because my number is an old number. Your company is not ADA compliant so you can not help me. I also purchased new devices that will not work. I have contacted the attorney general for a complaint, which is my situation. They will do what they must do with their threats. I have copied your threats to the Attorney General.

Er zijn betere en goedkopere opties
Ring geeft niks.om je veiligheid maar alleen om hoeveel je bereid bent te betalen. Er zijn veel goedkopere opties die geen geld vragen voor video opnemen en terug kijken. Dit is namelijk zeer belangerijk voor je veiligheid.
