The reason I'm leaving ring

The reason I'm leaving ring: Des Moines has lots of trash dumped on a daily basis. After catching someone doing it, I created a post. My post was removed. I asked why. My response was that Des Moines doesn't have that issue. I argued that I have mounds of trash dumped in my yard. I did get that part resolved; but, no thanks to ring. Trash is still dumped in my neighborhood. I have a problem with it. It angers me that some ring representative thinks they know better about what happens in Des Moines. My neighbors complain about the trash as well. With no real customer service, I don't see the point in paying for a subscription. What are we paying for? That is the main reason. Second, the camera doesn't pick up motion well and the videos always have blurry faces. I'm getting a Reolink or Eufy.

Ook ik wist pas na dertig dagen dat je een abonnement moet nemen wil je beelden terug kunnen zien en downloaden. Het telefoonnummer van de klantenservice is niet in gebruik en chatten met iemand is niet mogelijk. Hoe kan ik het artikel retourneren???

Has to be replaced every 3 years

Only has a 2-year warranty. The entire doorbell has to be replaced every three years. The button cracks and the front glass becomes smokey and bubbles.

My ring works fine

My ring works fine. The major big problem, is my home computer. I set it up and view it maybe 5 times, and I can't open it up the next day. If have done this so many times I want to throw my computer into the street. The password last one day, and the next it doesn't work.

Absolutely no customer service

Absolutely no customer service. When I attempt to review a notification I only get advertisements for new products! This app does not show what could be important possible dangers. You cannot chat, they disconnect. You cannot call without being misdirected to your issue.

We hebben al een tijdje een ring deurbel.( een paar jaar) En die laat ons met regelmaat in de steek. De bel en de modem staan op 2meter afstand van elkaar, met enkel de muur van de voordeur er tussen en de chim staat ongeveer één meter verder dan de modem, En met regelmaat zegt die dat hij geen verbinding kan maken. Het is een teleurstelling, we gebruiken hem, om dat we hem hebben, maar zouden beter een andere aa schaffen.

Terrible product

Terrible product. I spent $1,200 on 4 hardwired spotlight cameras, doorbell and detectors 2 years ago. Ring replaced 4 cameras due to issues, which requires me to pay a handyman to install them. I'm having issues with another camera. Ring no long makes hardwire cams so they sent me a Spotlight Cam Battery without the hardwire kit. It's been weeks, 4 phone calls and get a runaround as to why the kit hasn't been sent.

Ring products are top notch, no question. A big but here: First of all, it took them eight full days to ship out my order even though I paid for “expedited” shipping. Second, when I finally got my shipment, it was missing seven items, which will fit another big box. How do you miss them? And when I called ring they don’t even know where the rest of their undelivered products are! They asked me to tell them the unique ID number on every item I received, totally thirty of them! 30! I felt like they used me as their own packing staff. What a joke!

koop je een ring en kan je 30 dagen proefperiode aangaan om het spul te testen. maar dat is 30 dagen na bestelling en niet wanneer je de spullen in bezit hebt. dus was net 3 dagen te laat en kan ik niks retourneren en dus dubbel genaaid. kan niks opnemen omdat je verplicht bent een abonnement moet afsluiten a 3,99 P/Mnd per Camara. je kan beter iets meer uitgeven voor een camera set met eigen harddisk, dan ben je in ieder geval goedkoper uit op langere termijn en heb je beelden die je terug kan kijken. ik raad je aan dit product niet te kopen, dan voorkom je een teleurstelling.

Dichtung und Wahrheit könnte man es zusammen gefasst benennen. Es hat den Anschein, dass ohne Probleme die Ring nur in der Werbung ideal funktioniert. Im Alltag sieht das anders aus in der Praxis. Die Benachrichtigung an der Haustür erfolgt Zeitversetzt, Bewegungsmeldung zu spät. Beantwortung über Handy oder Alexa nicht zeitnah möglich, der Besucher ist dann schon weg um mit ihm in Kontakt zu treten. Eine Anzeige wer vor der Tür steht über Alexa ist dem Zufall geschuldet, wenn die Klingel betätigt wurde. Mal geht es bei zwei Alexa Geräten mal geht es nur bei einer und bei der anderen nicht. Oft erfolgt die Aufforderung ein Abo abzuschließen um ein mehr an Leistungen nutzen zu können. Unsere Erfahrungen in Deutschland und den USA ist einmal ohne und mit Abo sind die gleichen technischen Probleme vorhanden. Ein zweites mal würden wir den Kauf nicht vornehmen und können es auch nicht empfehlen. In der Werbung wird viel geflunkert und suggeriert in der Praxis sieht es anders aus; enttäuschend. In Sachen Service die gleichen Probleme wie wo anders aus, da Call-Center. Nun behalten wir die Sch.....im Wissen das es mal geht und mal nicht. Weitere Investitionen werden wir nicht tun ebenso verzicht auf ein teures Abo.

Null Sterne wären angebracht. Die Hotline kann ich telefonisch nicht erreichen ("Fehler beim Anruf"), im Chat wurde mir eine weitere genannt, gleiches Ergebnis. Wünschte vor Kauf eine telefonische Beratung. Handy funktioniert... Angeblich Rückruf erfolglos (andere Anrufer kamen aber durch..). Mehrfach nach Festnetznummer o.ä. gefragt, die gibt es angeblich nicht. Chat wurde nach ca. 1/2 h erfolglosem Gerede beendet ("wünschen einen schönen Tag" usw., sinngemäß). Katastrophe

Onbetrouwbaar systeem van Ring

Bewegingscamera van deurbel neemt wel een langs rijdende auto op maar als iemand vlak langs mijn deur loopt niet. Zie nu aan alle reacties dat ik geen hoop hoef te hebben op verbetering en adviseer om deze bel niet te kopen.

Ring Bait & Switch on App Home & Away Option

Ring just updated the App so you can no longer Switch from "Home," or "Away" on your camera, UNLESS you buy a subscription. I bought my cameras without wanting a subscription, now they are trying to force you to buy a subscription, I want to return my cameras, the "Help" they have outsourced to India keeps trying to sell me a service plan.

Doesn't help neighbors

Trash company! half the time it doesn't work. People walk dogs and never clean after them, we try posting it on ring so neighbors can see, but ring claim that's not serious enough! Dog poop is dangerous and very unsanitary you ask me. They only want to post crime so they can sell the footage! Trash company I'm canceling

Een hele ster is al te veel voor dit overbetaalde vuilnis.. Je betaald je eigen de.... En nu is mijn deurbel (die al eens vervangen is omdat de andere stuk was gegaan) net een paar maanden buiten garantie kapot gegaan.. En het probleem zit in de hardware. Ring wil niet meedenken aan eventueel coulance. Dus mensen koop dit aub NOOIT!!!

Chart Support ist nicht in der Lage technische Probleme zu beantworten. Verweis auf den deutschenTelefonsupport ... und der ist absolut unterirdisch: - Der deutschen Sprache ist man dort nur arg eingeschränkt mächtig. - Support gibt es keinen. Die Mitarbeiter sind ahnungslos (auch wenn man auf Englisch wechselt). Telefonate werden einfach beendet. Problem: Die 400 EUR teure Doorbell Elite liefert dermaßen unscharfe Bilder, so dass meine 25 Jahre alte Webcam noch als Top Notch Produkt eingruppiert werden könnte. Nun steht man hier: Produkt liefert miserable Qualität, der Support ist noch schlechter als die Produktqualität, der Rücksendezeitraum ist natürlich abgelaufen.

Very Slow Shipping & Poor Customer Support Options

Bought a V3 Doorbell and Chime combo at a decent price online. However, the order took over 3 weeks to arrive (within Europe) and the support options for assistance are pretty awful to be honest. There is NO EMAIL address to contact for support, as in ZERO(!) and the online "Chat" feature is predominately Bot driven. Not good enough reallyfor a fairly expensive piece of equipment.
