Als je een defecte camera hebt houden ze je 30 minuten aan de telefoon om het vervolgens nog niet op te lossen. Zeer slechte service!

About 1:30pmI I had the unfortunate experience of a customer service agent very hard to understand (language), who was very short and demeaning in assisting me. I am a senior citizen, hearing impaired and not prepared for this agent, especially since all the superior previous contacts with RING. At completion of the call a request to comment/review the the event was sent but was blocked from commenting.
I recommend this agent returns to training!
I ordered 2 ring cameras
I ordered 2 ring cameras. They were damaged in shipping so I called this company to reorder. They kept me on the phone for 2 hours, made me download an app in order to continue then said the new ones would be expedited. Then 5 minutes later, she called me back and said check my email. They refunded my money back to me but she was too much of a coward to explain this and hung up. Now I have to wait for a refund and order again. Garbage customer service.

2) kan maar met tussenpauzes van 30 sec bellen.
3) Omslachtige software.
4) Schroefje alleen met speciale torc (holle stift) te monteren.
5) abonnement nodig.
6) kan bewegingsmelding niet tijdelijk uitzetten.

Die Filme sin weiterhin völlig verpixelt. Eine 40 cm entfernte Kamera liefert normale Bilder. Liegt also nicht am w-lan sondern Ring.👎👎👎

Klinkt leuk maar je moet na elke paar dagen opnieuw inloggen met email en wachtwoord. Voor je dat gedaan hebt is degene aan de deur allang weg.
Waarschijnlijk zal dit bij een duur abonnement beter zijn maar niet ok.

Wekenlang probeer ik via de "klantenservice" een oplossing te krijgen voor de Doorbell 4 die na 6 maanden niet meer functioneert. Ik ben niet geholpen en bij elk telefoontje (minstens 10) kon ik mijn verhaal weer opnieuw doen.

This company has no respect for customers... this is something similar to the KGB bugging homes in Communist Russia... but worse because the customer pays to be betrayed... If your info goes to a cloud or a 3rd party service, then avoid getting involved. The cameras are poor quality and they disintegrate in everyday weather conditions.

I have 9 ring cameras. The spotlight cams have had a software problem for months now. The devices do not read the correct battery levels. My case has been open for months and they know they have a software problem they cannot resolve. I would avoid buying the cameras as of today

I cancelled my subscription March 19th…
I cancelled my subscription March 19th and still haven't received my refund. I spoke to customer service explaining that I was expecting to pay 3.99 a month, not 39.99 for the year. The charge over drafted my account so I immediately cancelled my subscription. I was told it would take 7-10 days to get the refund. They are definitely waiting the 10 days and I'm not even getting my full refund. All I got was a sorry. I'm a single mother so my funds are limited especially with the price of everything going up but my pay stays the same. We're in 2023 and nobody takes that long to submit a refund.

Not happy with them, accidentally ordered subscription which was supposed to be $5.99/month, they immediately took $67.79 from my account, I cancelled with a minute and still have not received my refund, they tgen took another amount of $12.80 from my account
New device had a defective mic
I called for tech support on a new device that had a defective mic. The first lady I called absolutely REFUSED to spell my email address correctly despite me spelling it 6 times for her. It has letters and nunbers, and I explained it to her, making a point to say it would make sense when she saw it in front of her. She kept putting in letters I NEVER SAID. I never even got to the mic issue with the first lady. I hung up on her and called back. I refused to even try to give the second lady my email and instead convinced her to use the serial number of the device. It was like pulling teeth to get an alternate verification method. Then she said I need to restart my modem when the issue was obviously hardware related. The mic would click off and modulate in and out while the vodeo streamed like normal. It obviously wasn't the software. Apparently the phone number and address aren't options. I'm not sure I believe that. I wasn't qualified for a return for full refund (go figure, the 30 day warranty means nothing). So they're currently sending a replacement. I asked for signature delivery since I'm in an area with a high volume of package theft. She claimed not to know what courier is sending it and that I can't request signature delivery. Which isn't true. If I don't recieve it I'm still on the hook for the balance of the device. My advice is try reddit or Google. If you can't fix it yourself tough. Ring doesn't care.
Product good, but blatant attempts to fleece customers unnecessary!
In terms of the product and how it works I am very happy. I am giving one star because of the subscription handling:
1. A massive hike in prices from on year to the next: £25 to £35 - that's about 30%
2. I have 2 devices but just want to pay for a plan on one of them. However, if I specifically put payment details on one it immediately adds the payment details to both.
3. In spite of having a 'cancel immediately' and a 'cancel at end of billing period' option - it will only allow me to use 'cancel immediately'.
I have never seen such a blatant attempts to fleece clients!

I subscribed to ring protect $10/mo THREE DAYS AGO after getting messages every day for awhile that it was going to expire. I went thru the process, put in the credit card etc. NO MESSAGES since then assured me (I thought) it was successful. Then today it tells me TRIAL EXPIRED and ask the videos were erased!! I made the call immediately and was walked thru the process and there was the credit card I put in three days ago, proving what I am saying, and selected again the $10/mo. Saw the same screens I saw the days ago and with agent online says they only now see planning on effect.
I want they videos back!!!. This is disgusting if you cannot retrieve the videos. Your system sucks if that is the case!!!

I have 2 security camera lights and a doorbell. First one of the motion lights won’t shut off so they have to manually be permanently shut off which is useless. Today the whole system crashed and after 45 minutes on the phone with ring they told me their system would no longer work with my VON and the only way to use the system was to shut off my VPN. Absolutely useless crap do not purchase
No footage found.
We had two different episodes 1) purchased 2 new adult bicycles and the first night stolen off of carpet. Go to view footage on ring and nothing was there. It was like a ghost just showed up. Footage on the device showed everything before and after. It was like a one hour gap with nothing there. 2) this happen at another house we installed Ring on and someone knocked the mailbox down go to review 4 different camera plus the ring doorbell and it shows nothing. I do have paid subscription and I will not be renewing. I will say the live view works great it you want to sit and watch it 7/24. Do yourself a favor and try some other security systems.

Grootste probleem is de langzame respons van de app als je niet thuis bent (belangrijkste toegevoegde waarde van zo’n bel!). Tegen de tijd dat je verbinding hebt met de bel is de pakket bezorger allang weg. Op de website wordt steevast de schuld gelegd bij de gebruiker en met name de WiFi. Maar mijn WiFi is prima (zowel sterkte als snelheid) en bel is dichtbij router.
