Why are the Support representative and Technical Support representative so rude? I’m going to deal with this alarm system for now, but will be switching this out within the year. They are a real piece of work. I’m not being rude, so why be rude to me? So I have no choice but to find another alarm company to go with.

Changing wifi

I am switching to a new internet provider. Every single device that I have it is an easy switch, except for my ring doorbell. Every device that I own I could just go to network settings and make the changes. With the ring doorbell I actually had to remove the cover to the ring doorbell so that I could switch wifi networks. WHY? Then the instructions were not clear and were not informing me of what action was needed next. Then they (Ring) tries to be cute and tells me to get a cup of coffee because it is taking so long. Tried to get help from the website and that was an exercise in dealing with a chatbot that can't answer a question and sends me to someplace that was totally irrelevant.

Na een tevreden gebruiker van 2 jaar een zeer teleurstellende gebruiker. Hoe is het mogelijk dat een groot bedrijf als Ring zijn software niet up to date heeft om een simpele Android telefoon goed te laten communiceren met Ring deurbel. Volgens u servicedesk moet ik 2 weken wachten voor dit is opgelost. Grote schande voor u bedrijf die pretendeert een goede veiligheid te bieden

Horrible horrible time transferring…

Horrible horrible time transferring ownership to another member of the same household! Not even a new address or anything it’s the same address, same family just that the previous primary owner has relocated and doesn’t have access to their email address or phone they used to set up the account. Supposed to be a 15 days waiting period for transfer of ownership yet I call today (1.5 hrs conversation) looking for records of that call, they have it 2/4/23, today is 3/9/23, but they can’t explain why nothing has been done to resolve my issue that I called 15 days ago about!! !! Yet “Bill” received a PERFECT score from me for understanding my needs and execution them on the survey Ring asked me to do. Ridiculous. So I have to start all over, 15 more days, to access my Ring cameras. Going with a different security company for my backyard and in the future. Waist of my time and money.

Technical support learn as they go

Technical support appears to be a learn-as-they-go service. Most questions require a put on hold for them to page through the computer to answer. Enough speaking ability is weak. Supervisor was no better. Eventually she hung up on me. Very frustrating. I fixed it myself after the call.

I have had a Complete Security System…

I have had a Complete Security System by them for quite a while. Not anymore. I am sorry to say the Event that Happened is still ongoing. When I tried to report something suspicious in the Neighborhood the "company" said "Thr post did not meet their Guidelines" it did. I have been posting there for years. Without any issies, someone got too big for their pants that day and instead of posting what was happening "The Event" took Place. Now this Company is being Held Liable for Emotional damages, property etc. all was captured luckily as proof via my system. Do Not trust this company! Better off with someone else, apparently they are always in Court battles.

Ring is an excellent device only if…

Ring is an excellent device only if it's within hands reach. I'm a disabled veteran, and had this floodlight ring installed in my yard, but everytime there's a power outage, I have to pay 200 bucks for someone to come out with a ladder just to push a reset button, how ridiculous is that. With all our technology why can't this be done from our phones or computers? I've had other security systems and never had to deal with this. This is the one reason I'll never buy a Ring product again until this is figured out.

Got disconnected. Impossible to reconnect

Total complete absolute POS. There servers are always backed up or something else is wrong. Now they deactivated The POS camera and it's impossible to reconnect until I get a real camera system. Thank you for saving me a monthly fee.

Big Waste of money

Door bell does not notification. Delayed ringbell notification. Notification only on android mobile and don't on iPhone of chime Support does not exists I have around £600 in usuless ring products

In my opinion, junk

They charge too much for too little I bought extra battery, solar panel, Wi-Fi extender because it kept going offline all the time after all that money it kept going offline, and they want to charge more money

Onmogelijk om app te laten functioneren. Zelden zo’n slecht ontworpen app gezien. De uitnodiging van de hoofdgebruiker leidt niet tot soepele installatie van de app op een nieuwe telefoon, maar tot een doolhof, vol valkuilen en pogingen je hun shop in te lokken of financiële gegevens te ontfutselen. Na half uur pogingen nog steeds geen beeld. Zonde van het geld

Echt geen goeie service chatten is makkelijker dan bellen als je belt krijg je eerst engels terwijl je naar Nederland belt maar dat is nog niet eens het echt probleem ik had een ring bel Besteld Maar direct terug gestuurd want Ik had hem niet meer nodig dit moest met ups helaas in Zeeland zijn er niet veel punten die ik kan benaderen van ups dus ik had gevraagd of dit met post nl kon dat kon maar dan moest ik het op eigen kosten doen Naja dat nam ik dan maar voor lief nu 3 maart en heb het geld nog steeds niet terug ze kunnen het pakketje niet meer vinden en kunnen dan niet het geld terug storten ik heb nu juridische hulp gevraagd omdat ze weigeren met het geld terug te storten dit wacht ik nog af ik vind het echt niet normaal Ik heb gewoon recht op mijn geld terug en hoe dat is aan hun ik zou nooit meer naar ring gaan koop het maar van een ander merk

Op de site wordt een Solar Panel met barrelconnector aangeboden aan 29.99 EUR, maar dit is helemaal niet voorradig. Wanneer je doorklikt kom je bij Amazon terecht die blijkbaar wel kunnen leveren, maar dan aan 59.99 EUR. Een typisch voorbeeld van misleidende reclame, niet?

Har købt 5 kamera. Er kun ringeklokke der virker lidt. Det andre registrerede højst 5 procent af det ting der sker. Selv folk der går ind i min havde kan de ikke se. Har aldrig oplevet sået sådan kina bras. Køber kvalitet kamera næste gang.

this protect is 100% garbage and is munipulated by ring. my subscription expired and now my motion goes off every 3 minutes like clockwork,call customer service and was told when i re up my subscription the door bell function will return to normal motion complete and total bs stay away from this product unless you like having a motion alerts every 3 minutes

Wat gaat eigenlijk wel goed? Een groot drama vanaf het begin en zo’n spijt dat ik voor ring gekozen heb. Problemen, steeds geen verbinding met de bel dus moet van de muur af, bel binnen niet te horen dus extra kast aan moeten schaffen. Voortdurend leeg of verliest verbinding. Bel geprobeerd bedraad te maken maar na pogingen opgegeven, geen trafo die werkt. NIET KOPEN!

De deurbel inmiddels een jaar in huis. Gekocht omdat mijn man slecht hoort. Maar de deurbel doet het soms even. En dan houdt hij ermee op. Meerdere keren opnieuw geïnstalleerd. Dan doet hij het weer even, maar niet lang. Een paar dagen. Koop dit product niet. Het is een drama.

I can't see two very important motion…

I can't see two very important motion events because apparently I was on a trial and it expired without warning. Didn't ask me for a credit card so that this wouldn't happen. So now I'm left to wonder whether my property has been broken into, since there is apparently not ability to recover video from 30 minutes ago. Customer service chat was useless copy pasted.

We have about 50% false alarms

We have about 50% false alarms. The software indicates that you can define the area of coverage, to avoid false alarms, but it DOES NOT SEEM TO WORK. I have tried at least 4 times to narrow a detection field to be just at the doorstep, but it still rings wth movement down on our street - over 100 feet away. Sad!

The audio in all my Ring devices, barely work. I've done all the troubleshooting recommended by Ring, and still no luck. They sent me new equipment(refurbished), still not working. (Cons) no tech support to come look at it
