Ein Jahr nach dem Kauf des Doorbell3, bekam ich die Anzeige auf dem Handy: Ihr Gerät ist deaktiviert. Keiner konnte mir sagen warum. Bei Ring reklamiert, keine Antwort bekommen. Heute im Geschäft nachgefragt woran das liegen kann, bekam ich die Antwort, das wissen wir auch nicht. Das hatten wir noch nie. Ich kann nur sagen, Hände weg von Ring.

Horrible experience with this company
Horrible experience with this company. I received a Ring doorbell. Followed instructions to charge battery. It went dead. Tried to return the item. They refused to allow return. Customer service was not at all helpful. Would never NEVER do business with this company again. They are beyond irresponsible, deceptive, and unethical.

I've owned a large ring system for years. It has always worked perfect. In the l same phoneast few months it quit contacting me through phone or computer. I even paid hello tech to come out and they called ring . After hours on the phone it still not fixed.

Nightmare Experience
I have never, ever had such a frustrating experience trying to return an order. Ring sent two identical boxes of home security products - their mistake - which I am now paying for through lengthy calls with customer service reps on two different occasions ( first one February 15). Both spoke sometimes difficult-to-understand English. I must provide the miniscule bar code numbers for each item in the box in order to receive the labels to put on the box for return. I could not read these without taking photos and then using a magnifying glass. Trying to communicate with the company online is even worse. I could give a minus rating.

Completely Dissatisfied with my experience
I placed an order for Spotlight Cam Pro (wired) for $249.99. For starters, my neighbor brought me my package as it was delivered to them and one would say that's not Rings fault however, if you see the label, my address was on the corner where it folded so I do blame Ring. Open it and it's the Spotlight Cam Pro Battery operated, which is what I didn't order. Contacted them to fix this and the agent assured that they will replace with what I ordered and even say they would expedite after I complained about the 3 to 5 days to receive when I have a tech coming to install the next day. I realize that I didn't get any confirmation so I called back only to find out that the replacement order is now for the Plug In version when I clearly ordered Wired from the start and it wasn't on an expedited order. Needless to say, I cancelled the entire order which now leaves me to cancel my tech and now its less than 24 hours so I won't get my deposit back. I was on the phone with you all for 1.5 hours to get a refund to get a confirmation email that says a refund in the wrong amount for 100 less than what I paid. I was told this was a system error that now has me concerned with the capability of you all indeed providing an actual refund. I now have to drive to a UPS to send your product back which is a big inconvenience of my time and my gas and now wait 7 to 10 business days for a refund and paid a cancelation fee to the tech that was supposed to come out and install. With all this, all I get is I'm sorry and I understand. Sorry and understanding doesn't give back my time or money that I have to pay just to end of with nothing and hoping that I indeed get my refund.

Have 4 cameras and all of them stopped…
Have 4 cameras and all of them stopped working today. No one at Ring or Amazon is willing to help. I am trying to return this crap and get a better reliable system, but never Ring again. You cannot count on Ring if you really need recordings.

Don't get the Ring protection plan
Over two weeks and two hours on the phone and my replacement camera hasn't come. I'm getting rid of the plan, it's cheaper to just buy the camera.

Good Products, ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
The ONLY reason I don't give this a 1* is the products themselves are very good, but "customer service"? WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, I actually want to PURCHASE two spare batteries and have been given the run around and still have been unable to complete the order because of a poor website. It has my POBox and says it can't deliver to POBox.....OK, so just change it right?!?! WHERE??? I put the batteries back in cart, dumps out again, and gives me NO PLACE to fix it to physical address. Called their HORRIBLE customer service and the conversation started with him asking "how are you today?" My response, "VERY ANNOYED" His response to that......get ready for it...... "That's great, how can I assist you today?" I said, boy you don't listen, and nope, the entire conversation he was not listening or assisting!!!

Shocking company/ inferior products
Was sold a faulty device. After calling company was left on hold for 10 mins to be told that they have a 30 day return policy. I explained that the product was faulty and after arguing with them for a further 10 mins was assured that they would be happy ro rectify. On calling back with the details the whole argument started again. Eventually just leaving me on hold until i hung up. I've paid $200 for a faulty product. Buyer beware do not purchase from this company.

Kreeg ineens een zwarte balk op mijn scherm de chat moest eenc sreenshot opsturen ne veel tijd kreeg ik een antwoord wat kant nog wal raakte want die meneer wist het ook niet moest weer tel contact opnemen. Had zaterdag al gebeld en sta soms een half uur te wachten voor men de telefoon opneem en dan nog in het engels ook. We leven in Nederland. Kortom een waardeloze help desk Nooit geen ring meer.

Deceptive Marketing
The camera works fine, so does the stickup camera - as they should for more than $125 for the pair - except they only work for the first 30 days, then you have to pay extra every month for the service if you want to use it to see something that just happened. not exactly a great deal - i would never recommend using Ring Anything!!! They get you with a come-on and then stick it to you later.

Poor product & Poorer service
After 14 months our ring doorbell 3 stopped connecting to wifi. After countless annoying calls to Rings supposed customer service & uninterested techs Ring said they would replace it. Promised to send a new device months ago, again numerous calls and still no new doorbell camera. Whatever you do DO NOT deal with this company, very poor products and even poorer customer & tech support-pretty much been scammed by this mob😡

The system works pretty good if you don’t mind them trying to sell you new products ALL the time. Can’t look at my cameras or doorbell without seeing advertising. Thinking about changing to Eufy products because of this.

Terrible company
Terrible company. Couldn’t sign up for subscription services. Customer help number was disconnected. Tried through the app but kept getting circular security code requests. Horrible. I will contact ADT.

You don't want to have to deal with Ring Customer Service!
First of all, allow me to say the customer service personnel are very polite. That being said, it is the most difficult, inefficient department I have ever worked with! I inadvertently ordered a wired doorbell when I should have ordered a wireless one. I bought it as a gift for my daughter who lives out of state. I can't begin to tell you the difficulties of returning a single doorbell that was ordered by a person in one state but received by a person in another state. I have no idea why they needed both of us on the phone to process a return. In addition to that, I had to download their app onto my phone in order to begin initiating a return. Why??? I'm not even the one with the doorbell. It took us over 1 hour and 20 minutes to simply initiate a return. It was incredibly frustrating. After we finally received a UPS return label, my daughter promptly returned the item to which I was told I would receive credit within 10 business days. Of course, I did not receive my credit. Trying to avoid the fiasco of talking on the phone to them again, I decided to try live chat. After 23 minutes of chatting it was determined that my credit was being processed and I would see it on my statement in another 3 - 5 days. I questioned them why it has already been 13 business days and am being told to wait another 3 - 5 when it should have already been processed according to what they previously told me. They have now agreed to expedite my credit and process it today. I hope this is true. I never want to have to call or chat with this department from Ring ever again.

Mijn ring bel pro doet het niet meer na…
Mijn ring bel pro doet het niet meer na 2 maanden en 14 dagen. Helaas is de garantieperiode met 14 dagen overschreden. Ik kreeg geen coulance en slechts een kortingscode van 30 % bij bestellen op hun webshop. Waardeloos product, ga kijken voor een alternatief.

I didn’t see anyone else curse on here but I wish I could. I cannot believe they have hidden fees it’s 2023 at least be upfront about them. And then what we paid $90 for a camera with crappy visual quality at that? Complete rip off. I hope the quality of this product matches the quality of the next product you buy.

In4 jaar tijd is mijn ring pro deurbel nu voor de 3de keer stuk. Ze laten je alle stappen doorlopen maar dit leid tot niets. Deurbel zelf is stuk. De eerste 2 keer kreeg ik een vervangende opgestuurd. Ik krijg nu te horen dat ze dit maar 1x mochten doen. Nu mijn deurbel weer stuk is mogen ze alleen een kortingscode geven van 30%. Zeer zwakke service. Ik koop nooit meer een ring deurbel.

Agents cannot speak English
I spoke with a Mark yesterday regarding an issue on the charging of a 2nd Gen Video Doorbell. I had a very simple question. Mark had a very difficult time communicating. I would like you to listen to the our conversation. You cannot have agents who purport to speak English when they really cannot. His comprehension was also questionable. I'm Filipino/American and I decided to explain to Mark my question in Tagalog to help him understand the problem. He still had trouble comprehending me. Ring needs to do a better job screening their call center agents. It was excruciating listening to Mark because he could hardly speak English. I asked him to transfer me to a supervisor several times but he refused. I would very much like to hear from you of the outcome of this feedback in 48 hours. Otherwise, i will file a complaint with the Michigan State Attorney General's consumer protection office. Ring CS has significantly gone downhill since Amazon took them over. The US call centers were much better when it was still owned by Ring. I went to their customer support site and chatted with an agent (most likely from the Philippines again). I aske for an email to send a complaint to. Nico gave me which does not work. The message below is what I got when I sent to this email. Looks like the email address your agent gave me does not work. Why does Ring give out incorrect information? See message below. "Please call or chat with us. We’re ready to help. Oh no! The email address you contacted is no longer active. I did it wrong
Before buying their product I did not read the reviews. This company do not help you if you have problem with product. I bought their (not working) doorbell and I am very very very disappointed. It is just not working 50 percent of times. I was not expecting this kind of bad support from company owned by Amazon. Don't buy from doorbell from them

Hidden Charges
All the hype but they don't tell you of the hidden charges when you purchase it . Every thing wiped after 1 month and left with a doorbell with a camera . No screenshot or memory or motion detection, ring only looking for subscription to use those "extras" if buying a video bell look for another similar bell that doesn't have hidden charges . An expensive video doorbell from ring ,!! I don't recommend this product at all . Im looking for a different one to buy..

LET OP!! Hun support nummer is een amerikaans nummer omgeschakeld via Egypte. Kost dus 1,7 euro per minuut! Dus denk voordat je belt. Ze hebben wel netjes een nieuwe gegeven, dus het werkt wel. Maar 40 euro aan bel kosten, had bijna zelf een nieuwe kunnen kopen
