Spent an hour verifying myself. I say I am dyslectic and they laugh on the phone. Refusing to use phone number to verify me but have 4 verification methods in front of them. Simply horrible. Issue not resolved because is “new device” and they do not know why the option is missing in the app.

The service has gone to crap

The service has gone to crap. I’ve use Ring for quite awhile and spoken to persons for assistance. Automated help is worthless. I believe Ring has become over confident. Almost sure I’ll be switching service and having a yard sale that will include the ring equipment.

Can't get the truth ever

I'll just start with saying that the one star is to much. customer support team is the biggest joke and scam I have been lied to about everything my replacement camera that was promised to me has still not been received and they keep giving me the run around worst company ever the ceo needs to contact me because I'm sick of his customer support!!!!!

This device is worthless

This device is worthless. Endless login prompts and the screw snapped off meaning I couldn't wire my doorbell wires into it. So much hassle with the setup and such annoyance. Returning it and won't buying another. This thing is really a piece of junk. Thanks for a wasted hour on something which belongs in a landfill.

Customer service is horrendous

I didn’t recommend ring to anyone they are lie I have issues with ring doorbell pro two almost two months I give them my old device and I’m trying to get my replacement device until know I didn’t receive it every time I call them they cancel the replacement and giving me some issues for my order status and they do order again they’re playing it’s really bad service and bad brands and bad company

Niet mogelijk om een product te retourneren! Er is geen retour formulier te downloaden op de site en zelfs na 2 keer bellen met de klantenservice heb ik nog geen formulier opgestuurd gekregen…. Wat een slechte service. Koop niets bij de officiële ring.com webshop, je wordt opgelicht.

Miserabler Kundenservice

Miserabler Kundenservice ist noch untertrieben. Hatte kürzlich einen online-Chat mit dem Support Mitarbeiter, als diesem meine Fragen zu unbequem wurden, hat er den Chat einfach beendet. Die Produkte selbst sind auch nicht der Brüller, diese funktionieren zwar einigermaßen, aber ganz ausgereift sind sie dann am Ende doch nicht. Das Abo finde ich absolut überteuert.

The doorbell works ok. But after two months they try to charge you $3.99 a month for ring protect plan for time lapse recording, what a joke. I took the doorbell back, and purchased the Nest product, it give you three hours of video capture when needed.

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link

The clear plastic piece that covers the camera lens on my Ring doorbell is severely cracked (from heat/sun exposure) making the video camera currently useless. It should be a simple fix though so I contacted Ring via chat to inquire about purchasing a replacement cover. The rep informed me they don't sell just the plastic cover and that I would have to buy a whole new unit. So now a $260+ Ring doorbell is complete trash because I can't replace a simple 2-cent piece of clear plastic?? A chain is only as strong as its weakest link and this 2-cent piece of plastic is that weak link. Total garbage! It's an existing part that's already been manufactured and readily available to them? I'd gladly pay a thousand times that cost plus postage because I need it to make my equipment work! But nope, can't do that! But hey, while you're here would you like to buy a new $260 doorbell instead? This equates to having to purchase a completely new car because the windshield in the old one is cracked! Ring only exists to make money. Period. They don't give a rat's a$$ about anything but selling more product. I'll find a way to repair the doorbell myself for now and when the time comes I'll purchase a different brand to replace it.

Le produit est excellent, l’application tte bien faite, MAIS la communication à propos de l’abonnement est mensongère, en effet la sonnette est inutilisable sans l’abonnement mensuel à près de 4€. Sans cet abonnement il n’y a aucune possibilité de visionner les vidéos meme 30 secondes après. Ce n’est pas ce qu’on appeler consulter l’historique. La DGCCRF devrait mettre son nez dans ce type d’escroquerie

Bij Ring vinden ze het blijkbaar normaal dat er na 2,75 jaar de trafo kapot gaat en de videodeur bel ,vanuit klantenservice geen poging van coulance werd gewoon gezegd dat ik maar moest vervangen Je betaald dus een paar honderd euro voor 2 jaar ,almet al dus een zeer onbetrouwbaar product gaat zeker geen 2de ring aanschaffen

Niet kopen!! Heel erg slecht product👎🏼👎🏼

Eerste maand ging het goed, na een tijd begint de camera beelden over te slaan, met terug kijken lukt het soms niet om het beeld te zien omdat hij de video beelden niet kan vinden. Opnamens die spontaan verdwijnen. Heel jammer dit, aangezien je best veel geld betaal voor zo een camera en de abbo. Ik raad dit zeker niet aan.!! Had hoge verwachtingen, maar ik merk nu uit eigen ervaring dat het heel slecht is. Koop dit product niet!!

Ring Base Station failed within an hour. No Replacement for 7 weeks

I purchased a complete Ring system on 9/30 and installed it the same day. The base station failed in the first two hours. After spending countless hours on the phone, I was told to ship the base station in, and I would receive a replacement. It's been over a month and still no replacement, no update, nothing from Ring. So, I spent another long wait on the phone and was told it would be another 3 weeks for a replacement.

Poor customer service

Called for help with a set up and the customer service rep didn’t know how to do it. When I kept explaining to her what we had done, she just hung up. Great way to run a business NOT!

Every time someone comes on my property…

Every time someone comes on my property to steal something the cameras NEVER capture anything. Has happened around three times already, but captures stray cats running in my yard. Wouldn’t recommend

Beyond frustrated!!!

I've had my ring doorbell for 3 years and somehow the plastic cover that fits under the faceplate got scratched, making the video hard to see. Contacted Ring to see about purchasing a new plastic cover and she said unfortunately we don't sell just the plastic cover but I can provide a discount to purchase a new doorbell. Ugh!!! I don't need a new doorbell, just the plastic cover!!!! I will get a new doorbell but not thru Ring. They've just lost a customer!!!

Worst customer service

Got the ring sensor floodlight, it stopped working. Followed their instruction to fully charge the battery before using, but it stopped working after a month. Called customer support, their customer service is the worst, besides helping you they give you the run around.
