I placed 2 different orders from…
I placed 2 different orders from Ring.com and decided to go another route. I went on Ring.com and did the request for both orders to return them. One order said to call customer service to complete one of the orders. Asked if we could combine both orders together in one box. It took almost 1 full hour to get it approved and a return label was sent by email to me. The following morning, we took the return to UPS. 5 days later we received a refund for only one of them. We have been calling customer service for 2 days now and cannot get to a human to talk to. I will never purchase from Ring.com again. If I would have made the purchase through Amazon it would have been with no issues.

Let me say it again, I did not change the email address! First customer service person, would not listen to what I just said, kept telling me she could not help me because my correct email address was not linked to an account. That's why I am calling. She hung up on me, when I started yelling, I wanted to speak to a supervisor, she then called back and said we were disconnected. I called back and got someone different on the phone that told me the same thing, except that he escalated it to the security team. That I would have to wait up to 48 hours for an email. What kind of BS is that! Then a supervisor called me back and wanted all the information I had just provided to the previous two people. If he knew what he was doing and reading the notes on the account, he would of known the whole situation. He kept saying he understood - obviously he didn't - or he wouldn't be asking me all the same questions! So now I cannot get into my account online or the app - the cameras are nonfunctional. Who is responsible if I get robbed because of your poorly trained staff! I NEED TO GET INTO MY ACCOUNT! Then I will be cancelling the service and never use a ring product again, just because of the horrible customer service.

RING HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
i am very disappointed in the customer service of RING getting someone on the phone after the many irrelevant prompts take forever. I made a large purchase on 09/11/22 and did a partial on 10/11/22. When they processed my refund they did a refund slip for each item. I returned all of the items in one box and included each packing /return slip for the other items in the box and used one refund /packing slip for the return. They could not find my return, could not figure out the order, kept placing me on hold and then hung up on me after waiting for 35 minutes. The rep called back only to place me on hold again. My issue is if I place an order and then your company processes the refund, why can't you see that? Why is there no record of the refund? Why do you have to keep asking me the same questions? I am not pleased with this company. Had I not called they would have never processed my refund. Then they tell me I need to check back with them in 2 days to see of they scanned all of the items. Absolutely not! You need to call me back in 2 days to verify you got the items and give me my money back! RING has thee worst customer service ever!

App no longer compatible with my phone…
App no longer compatible with my phone after latest update. Contacted tech support who informed me that basically my phone is too old. Told me it was "out of their hands" that the app is not supported in Android versions below 9.00 Its actually not out of their hands, their app developers were the ones who chose not to provide support for earlier versions of Android. Another case of forced obsolescence. My door bell camera just became an expensive door bell. Cancelled my annual plan with Ring and will not buy any more of their products.

Run away
Run away! Run fast. They will take your money and your time but you won’t get a working product or any customer service agents who speak English and don’t hang up on you. Everyone has been rude and I’ve spent over 8 hours trying to get this to work.

When I called I had trouble with…
When I called I had trouble with getting my Ring to work, it would not let me see my devices. My email account was switched to my other email account and Roselyn had me on the phone for 20 minutes trying to get code to come through my email. It took 5 minutes to get a code to come on my email but she said she sent another one so the 1st code that come through didn’t work so had to wait another 5 minutes but it took 10 minutes and nothing. So she sent another one and that one came through fast. Then when I got through with verification see directed me to the account settings and told me to see if the email was correct and it was not so she told me to log out. I asked her how do you log out? It took another 2 minutes to get that answer. Overall, I was on the line for 20 minutes when it should have taken less than 5 minutes for a trained and understanding of verification codes and the account settings menu.

Ring Spotlight Cam Battery
I have a spotlight cam ...Battery Worked well for the first 6 months. This morning, the battery level indicator on one of the two sides shows at 0%, in spite of placing a fresh battery that is at 100%. Call Ring to trouble shoot the issue, and they were no help. At the end of the call, I was told by the ring representative that I would be shipped a new camera and to send the defective one back. Just to be on the safe side, I called the following day to confirm. This is what I was told.... There is no order placed for a replacement. We are not allowed to order you a replacement, so just go and buy a new one. I'm sorry you have a defective one.

My experience with Ring customer…
My experience with Ring customer service. I changed internet service providers to a 5ghz connection. I was able to configure all my other wired devices except for the Ring doorbell. I phoned Ring customer service. The woman I spoke was very nice and patient. She had me doing the exact same thing over and over, for over an hour. The problem was the instructions for resolving the problem were not the steps she was having my follow. I was so frustrated that she transferred me to another person. That woman told me that the model I have doesn’t work with 5G and that the solution was to buy a phone that could connect to that network. She sent me a code for a 35% discount on a new Ring doorbell. When I attempted to apply the code copied exactly as she had provided, the Ring site did not recognize it and I could not apply it. Then I misplaced the doorbell and thought it had be stolen (I later found it). I phoned customer service to see if they would honor the replacement of a stolen phone. I was asked if the phone was bought from Ring and I said I didn’t know, it was a gift from my daughter. They asked if she bought it from Ring and I said I thought she would have gotten it from Amazon. I was told they wouldn’t honor the replacement if the phone wasn’t bought directly from Ring. Well I found the phone and I have a friend who is genius at resolving connection issues. He followed the necessary steps – not the steps the Ring CS person had me doing repeatedly. He was able to set it up despite that it is 5ghz. Someone needs to remedy the customer service at Ring so that customers don’t get this kind of run around.

Worst customer service and Cam itself
Worst customer service and Cam itself - not working properly. Bought their Solar Cam with their own Solar panel. And after a few days it just goes off. Battery - at 2% level. Tried to return it - and their chat and call support - just hung up the call and chat. Unbelievable

RIng customer service is beyond…
RIng customer service is beyond terrible. Extremely long waiting times, lacking of supervisors, and incompetent customer service makes the experience of calling Ring customer service unbearable. If you decide to buy Ring products in spite of that, make yourself a huge favor and get them from a reputable company like Costco or Amazon.

Je rejoins à peu près tous les avis exprimés. J'ai associé sonette sans fil au support solaire orienté Est. Malgré cela, je dois recharger la batterie 1 fois par mois. Je n'ai quasiment jamais le temps de répondre à la personne qui sonne étant donné le temps de latence depuis l'application mobile. Celle m'indique malgré l'ajout d'un répéteur wifi à moins de 5m d'un signal de connecion faible. De mon point de vue, le produit hyper marketé n'est absolument pas satisfaisant et je regrette clairement ce choix.

Ring cameras are annoying
Ring cameras are adequate, service is annoying at best. If you try to access your cameras with your computer, you are asked frequently to confirm your access through two factor authentication. That means when you want to see why a motion alert occurred, you have to go find your phone and go through the authentication process, which also means you will miss the LIVE view of what tripped the motion sensor. Ring does not allow you to turn off the two factor authentication, for your security. So, if I have to get up and go get the phone, I may as well just look out the window. How much cheaper would it be to just get a set of motion sensors? Ring, let me decide how much security I want on my account, just like I am decided how much security I want around my premises. My next place will definitely have security cameras, but they won't be cloud based.

Dagelijks moet ik hem resetten omdat hij van de wifi afgaat. De wifiversterker staat er bijna naast! De bewegingsmelder is steeds te laat en de bel doet het vaak niet. Echt waardeloos. Heb mijn abonnement opgezegd.

Ring Pro Deurbel werkt ineens niet…
Ring Pro Deurbel werkt ineens niet meer. Voedingspanning achter op de deurbel 30 volt wisselspanning, dat is dus Oké. Vier keer aan z’n telefoon-geit uit moeten leggen dat de bel helemaal niets meer doet. Dan nog vragen of er geen lampje brand. Nee voor de vijfde keer hij doet helemaal niets. En ook niet als je op de bel-knop drukt. Ik zal het nogmaals ( 6e keer) proberen duidelijk te maken. HIJ DOET HELEMAAL NIETS. Nu is hij net 3 jaar oud maar verwacht dat hij toch wat langer mee moet kunnen. Het is immers geen Chinese deurbel van €39,- En daarbij hebben we ook 3 camera’s van Ring en betalen een abonnement van €100,- per jaar. Ik had verwacht dat Ring de deurbel wel zou vergoeden “omdat je wel mag verwachten dat hij langer mee gaat dan 3 jaar” maar dat is een illusie.

Ring alarm system company customer service poor.
I had a Ring alarm system installed by someone that is no longer available to me. I simply wanted to make an inquiry with their customer service, but they required that I log in with a password that I do not know before they would put my call through to a human being. I then tried to establish a chat with them and was able to get one started with Maryann or the like, but when I explained my situation, they responded with "Were you able to install it before?". This question made me doubt that I was actually chatting with a human being. I continued to try to communicate my problem, but they stopped responding completely.

Tried to re-add a share with my wife on a ring door bell camera - numerous verification attempt on an already existing shared account that has stopped working, idiot procedures with repeted phone number registrations and repeated codes on email..for gods sake - Get real and make your security crap work!! Who will ever trust a security product that can't provide a working verification function?

40€ pro Kamera finde ich persönlich absolut überteuert und abgezogen. Was rechtfertig den Preis? Das man sich einmal die Woche mal ein Video angucken möchte? Hätte ich mich vorher ausreichend informiert hätte ich diese Produkte natürlich nicht gekauft. Abzocke!!

Ring is absolutely terrible
Ring is absolutely terrible, I have had our devices for almost 5 years, they are always going offline. They don’t capture half the movements going on in front of my house, customer service is terrible. They are saying (after paying for 5 years) that my device is not registered to me and no one can seem to fix it. On the phone with customer service for over an hour, they hung up on me and never called back. Why did I provide my phone number if we get disconnected, if you don’t call back??? DO NO RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!

Camera is ok, but you're on your own as far as support
Web site is broken and customer support seems to have difficulty understanding their own products and services. Cameras are ok but you're on your own. Not the streamlined experience it's advertised as.

Kann man nicht empfehlen. Absoluter Edelschrott. Bilder ruckeln. Bewegungen werden nicht immer gemeldet. Dafür ein Abo abzuschließen ist schlicht unverschämt. Kommt in den Müll! Leider zu spät andere Bewertungen gelesen.

not trustworthy
I bought solar panel 3 weeks ago from the website to deliver it in Sydney. There was no movement from Australia post and I demanded to give me to send a new one. 3 days ago they said they will provide tracking number but my emails are getting ignored. Honestly if they don’t reply I am going to lodge the complaint with heads of Amazon instead.

Ring deurbel abonnement ineens stop gezet
Precies dezelfde ervaring als een andere klant! (Zie hieronder) Baal er echt van dat ik geen melding heb ontvangen en dus nu alle beelden kwijt ben! Moet ik dan in het vervolg steeds opslaan was de tip…. :( Ring deurbel deed het ineens niet meer kreeg een bericht dat mn abonnement was stop gezet, dus ik bellen en vertellen ze mij dat de afschrijving niet gelukt was, ik zei dat is onmogelijk want er stond een flink bedrag op de rekening en aangezien het abonnement €3 kost is dat onmogelijk, dus de medewerkster zei misschien een foutje van de bank dan, maar dan nog stuur je eerst netjes een mailtje voordat je zomaar ineens een abonnement stop zet en dus ook al de beelden kwijt bent, slechte zaak van Ring en ik hoop dat ze er in het vervolg van leren.
