Ring deurbel abonnement ineens stop gezet
Ring deurbel deed het ineens niet meer kreeg een bericht dat mn abonnement was stop gezet, dus ik bellen en vertellen ze mij dat de afschrijving niet gelukt was, ik zei dat is onmogelijk want er stond een flink bedrag op de rekening en aangezien het abonnement €3 kost is dat onmogelijk, dus de medewerkster zei misschien een foutje van de bank dan, maar dan nog stuur je eerst netjes een mailtje voordat je zomaar ineens een abonnement stop zet en dus ook al de beelden kwijt bent, slechte zaak van Ring en ik hoop dat ze er in het vervolg van leren.

Oh my goodness! If I could rate a ZERO for customer support, I would! After being put through the "RINGer" of identification, I asked a general, simple question about installation/deinstallation, and the "technical representative" said it was an unusual question so he could not answer. He sent me an email to send a picture of my doorbell and after I did and I asked to speak to a manager. He hung up!!! Oh Wow Such Incompetence! Unbelievable!!!

Bought the ring just over a year ago and the product just went bad. Called support and they told me to bad we will give you a discount to buy another. That’s got to be a joke. This one broke in a year and a half. Why would I buy another one.
If you want a RING product
If you want a RING product, do NOT order directly from RING. We purchased a bundle (multiple devices) and returned it with RING UPS labels. We received UPS proof of delivery notifications. RING processed the return of only one item in the bundle. After many "who's on first" calls with their terrible Customer Service (it's a call center located outside the US), RING promised the refund but did not follow through. We finally gave up and have contested the charge through CHASE.

I been trying for 2 days to speak to a human to pay for a plan. You can't reach anything but a robot. What a joke. I cannot even give them money!!.
the products aren't working for more than a few weeks
I purchased an 8-piece alarm set and, within weeks, several sensors didn't work. After troubleshooting (spending hours), Ring sent new sensors. A few more weeks and months went by and the new sensors stopped working and so did the other pieces. I spent hours on the phone. I was placed on hold for long periods of time and I was disconnected several times. At one point, they couldn't even find records of the calls I made. People seemed friendly at first but when you're put on hold for 30 minutes or longer and no one returns, they're not friendly anymore, especially when the call disconnects after you've been waiting so long. Horrible service. I think they're selling refurbished parts.

Absolute garbage. My door bell and stick cam never have a stable connection. I have bought a Wi-Fi booster and it still has connectivity issues.
Product is so unreliable that I would just toss it had I not invested over $300.00 for this crap.

Disappointing Community Information Sharing. I’m very new to the ring service and…
I’m very new to the ring service and the only experience I’ve had so far has been with Ring app. The default page is “neighbor” which is misused for posting pet pictures to nosy neighbors, so I ignored the posts.
Due to Hurricane Ian, I began checking the notifications that were being posted. The majority were relevant, giving information about power, where gas was available, etc. I posted about Internet service in my area, as many others did. I instantly received a reply from a neighbor that I was complaining and should be happy with what I had. Apparently I’m not on the inner circle and irrelevant.
I can’t change the default page, I can’t block neighbors, I can only turn off notifications for Ring, which is relevant to being notified someone is at my door.
It seems Ring in totality is a bad choice for security, equipment, and customer service.
Ring customer service is broken
Ring customer service is broken. I've been buying and using their stuff for years - currently having 8 devices across 2 properties. They all operate OK. I ordered another plain indoor camera (AUD79) a month ago. After two weeks of no delivery, I tried to self-help on their website. The track/trace order # page was inoperative. So I called. That was the first of four calls over about a week. Ring (after taking your call back number and email address) insist you stay on the line while they coordinate with their delivery "back end". I've got limited time on this earth and 40 mins on hold is a poor use of the time I have left. I asked multiple times to speak with a supervisor but none ever seemed available. I was finally emailed (after call three) that the item was out of stock. I would have to call Ring back to get a refund. The email ticket was unilaterally closed by Ring - my emailed response therefore bounced. I did call back after noting another colour was in stock - but now $20 more expensive. They quoted 7 - 10 days delivery, from a warehouse in NZ to an address in our biggest city. Hopless. They did offer a 30% discount - but to be fair, I'll get more satisfaction from the waiting until the right camera is in stock and they deliver it. I feel obliged to warn other Ring purchasers away.
Ring is not a good choice.
Like many other reviews, if Ring does capture motion it’s generally too late to see anything useful.
It lets me know that the leaves on my tree are blowing but if a Amazon van pulls into my drive and the driver walks to my door, forget about it.

I was under the impression that Ring was the best security system. I spent over a thousand dollars for my cameras. The cameras do work.
But two cameras are constantly giving errors that are not real. One solar panel does not work with camera. The app is nothing but ads and alerts to read or daily deals. It's garbage. Customer support is a joke (as all big corporate is now).

Na 2 jaar deurbel defect en chime. deurbel net 2 maanden uit garantie. chime nieuwe ontvangen. Toch vind ik dat het niet kan. Zo'n duur apparaat en dan na 2 jaar kapot. Zal niet meer een nieuwe aanschaffen.
Works except when actually needed
I live on my own so I got a ring to let me know BEFORE folks are at my door. I'm sitting here alone at night and I hear someone knocking on my door. I pull up ring to see nothing except that I'm offline.
After getting dressed and grabbing protection, I had to go outside because I have no idea whats going on except I'm alone, there's a stranger at my door since my friends don't visit at night and my ring camera isn't working.
Luckily it was some guy lost but it makes it completely pointless to have have security camera that doesn't work..
Meanwhile my Vuze or whatever cam is working fine, on the same wifi so it's not the wifi.
Cold weather freeze out.
They don't tell you these kind of products don't work <35. Mine stopped working & they told me to bring it in the house because the battery got cold! It was hard wired in!! I'm supposed to know what wires to disconnect? I live in New York. don't waste your money.

Klingel mit w-lan zu verbinden ist nahezu unmöglich , hats dann mal geklappt dann fällt das ganze System regelmäßig aus , Kundenservice ist unterirdisch , auf garkeinen fall kaufen .

Zeer ontevreden! De batterij van de deurbel is binnen 2 weken leeg. Nadat we hem nu 2 maanden in gebruik hebben (in combinatie met de chime) werkt het helemaal niet meer; hij herkent ons netwerk niet, terwijl wij een optimale WiFi verbinding hebben. Dus nu een duur abonnement voor opnames, en een briefje op de deur of iedereen wil kloppen. Echt waardeloos!

This is what happens to companies taken over by Amazon…they turn into turds! Do NOT waste you time and money with these products as they are now controlled by …let’s just say you won’t get anybody that speaks or understands ENGLISH! 5 of their products and 5 years later, Ring is AWFUL!

My Ring doorbell keeps going off line constantly. I have tried everything but to no avail!
It worked perfectly for about 6 months but then we started noticing no chimes to indicate someone at the door. I even purchased an extra battery for backup.
My driveway camera works perfectly.
No problems but I am probably going
to disconnect the whole system and throw it in the garbage!

I have using RING since they started and they had a clue about customer service. I have had good success with the product but customer service is pathetic at best. Maybe their hoping someone will buy them out finally be out to pasture!
It’s a real shame they are letting this ruin what was once a good company.
Push button hard to press and activate…
Push button hard to press and activate a ring results in missed calls. Also the plastic button is broken and out of warranty.
This is a wonderful device, but needs some improvement. For example, when someone rings the doorbell and assuming that they pressed it hard enough to activate, the camera & microphone defaults to off, requiring you to try to find the app and activate a call. By then, the person is gone.
Needed is a faster way to activate a communication.
Also the speaker communication is difficult to hear.
Looking for a better functioning device!
