Waardeloze deurbel je kan er niet veel mee mits je een abonnement afsluit. Dus nu maar een eufy gekocht. Veel beter systeem en geen kosten en de beelden zijn beter en je kan extra camera's koppelen. Geen extra kosten

Ring videodeubel
ik heb in maart 2019 een Ring Deurbel gekocht voor 200 euro. Vanaf maart 2022 deed mij video bekijken het niet meer en sinds mei 2022 doet de deurbel het helemaal niet meer, terwijl dit gekoppeld is aan de bedrading. Paar keer gebeld met Ring en ik krijg te horen dat dit buiten de garantie valt en dat ik een nieuwe moet kopen, ik kan 30% korting krijgen. Dat is toch oplichting? Je koop een deurbel van 10 euro gaat wel 20 jaar mee, ik mag verwachten dat ik voor een deurbel van 200 euro en dan nog merk Ring beter kwaliteit mag verwachten, dus niet!! Check internet aub voordat je Ring koopt vlak na je garantietermijn doet ie het niet meer genoeg reviews te vinden.

Shockingly bad customer experience…
Shockingly bad customer experience and surprisingly low quality product for the price. The platform is nice and very user friendly, its integration with Amazon is also really attractive. I have always had wonderful experiences with Amazon's customer service and felt very confident that this would translate to Ring following its acquisition. It did not. I have spent a collective 6+ hours on customer support after a failed delivery, then had to wait for 2 weeks before I could even request a refund. I requested them to resend the order and was told they couldn't because I had already "used the coupon code".... on the lost order! The courier tracking information said delayed in transit but they still made me feel as though I was being unreasonable. Note, this is not a situation where the courier delivered the product and sent confirmation, the courier themselves said the package was lost! Talking to customer service was degrading and mind numbing. Very simple tasks were simply unimaginable. It is now over 5 weeks later and my refund has still not been received. I only continue to be a customer because I have spent so much money on the devices which themselves are easy to install, visually appealing and when they work, a nice product. Unfortunately, the amount of maintenance required is roughly equivalent to that of a house plant, you have to charge the batteries remarkably frequently, the device will lose internet connection randomly and there is no simple way to reconnect, a full re-set up of the device is required. I have very little confidence that if someone broke in the cameras would even be working well enough to capture it. I have a range extender and a chime on either side of the house, maybe 15 feet from the device at the furthest, and still have very little connectivity. Its clear that the company is a software company and not sophisticated in hardware. Very bad first experience with the company, sadly.

four ring devices continually failing
we have two ring door bells and two ring chimes. One ea in our Mich home, one in FL. Over the last two years we have had nothing but trouble with all of the devices. Connection problems, constantly having to reset the units (both video door bells and chimes. both door bell units are hard wired to transformer that provide 20 V min. One unit would not hold a charge and had to be replaced. bought a new battery with no sucess. after much frustration, tech calls etc and hours of nuisance, Ring replaced one unit. Seems to be trying to hold a charge but up and down. The FL unit crashed while we were in Mich and we cant reset the unit unless we are there and/or hire a contractor to reset for us. The chimes are on and off all the time and continually need resetting. Smart home devices are great. Ours are dumb. On top of that, the smart doorbell, the honeywell home thermostats, garage door openers and schlage dead bolt-all "smart home devices" have been failing since we owned them. This crap is great when it works but there is absolutely no way to rely on any of it.

Waardeloze apparaten
Waardeloze apparaten. Reeds 2x een Ring deurbel aangeschaft. 2x is de deurbel gaan condenseren (zowel van binnen als buiten) waardoor hij binnen de kortste keren niet meer op kan laden en dus waardeloos is. Ontzettend slecht voor een apparaat dat ervoor gemaakt zou moeten zijn om tegen regenwater te kunnen.

Got the ring and never worked called support for help and said they will ship a new one guess what they never even registered my name and never got anything not only that my router got hacked from there crappy security! STAY AWAY

Just installed my Ring system from…
Just installed my Ring system from cameras to motion detector. Early on, easy but time consuming to install but after 3 days cameras shut off. Terrrible customer service - did not understand the devices and accents were so thick could not understand them. Will likely return the devices.

Misbruik creditcard
Mij n ex partner heeft misbruik van mijn creditcard gemaakt om een beveiligingscamera bij Ring.com te bestellen. Ik heb toen contact gezocht met dit bedrijf en uitgelegd dat de bestelnaam niet overeen komt met de creditcard gegevens van de betaler. Ik heb hun verzorgd om de verzending niet te doen. Medewerkster gaf aan het met haar manager te bespreken en mij daarna te contacten. Niks meer gehoord, daarna terug gebeld, waar ik te horen kreeg dat zij de bestelling zouden opsturen naar mijn ex partner. Hun gezegd dat ze willens en wetens meewerken aan fraude, echter hier hadden het bedrijf geen bezwaren tegen. Heel bijzonder dat een bedrijf dat juist over beveiliging gaat hieraan meewerkt

Disappointing policy
It has become painfully obvious that the biggest priority of Ring is to get people to pay for their videos and to keep them paying forever. I received an email telling me that the $3 per month per device was going up to $3.99 a month because of enhanced upgrades that were being rolled out. I and anyone else was forced to except this additional $.99 per month charge whether we wanted it or not. I think that is just unethical. I was perfectly content paying the $6 a month for my two devices and keeping the app as it was. The only alternative they offered was to not upgrade. So my question is this; why would they force everyone to pay more without the option of keeping what they had for the current price? That’s the unethical part in my opinion. The enhancements that they were touting to justify the monthly increase, to me, we’re unnecessary. But rather than allow their customers to keep what they have they force everybody to upgrade or they lose their app capabilities. Not just the videos that they saved in the cloud but the other capabilities that came with the app. What really bothers me the most though, is that they charge you to save your videos in the cloud in the first place. To me that’s unethical as well. Knowing that they could’ve just added the ability to save your videos to a USB drive or a micro SD card. After all, they’re your videos. Why should you have to pay for them? Plus, you have instant access to them. I understand why they do it. Everyone does. To keep you paying month after month. I’ve had my two devices for over three years. Not once have I had the need to access any videos for any issue. I thought the $3 per device per month was excessive; seeing as how I had no choice if I wanted or needed to access them. I paid for the subscription. So now, they want me and everyone else to pay more for stuff we don’t need. Some people may want the upgrade and can afford to pay the extra price. No thought was given to people like me, on a fixed income, if we could afford the additional money. No thought was given to allow people to keep the coverage they have for the price they are paying. They arbitrarily force everyone to upgrade or lose it all. All you get if you don’t upgrade is the alert when motion is detected, and you only see the live feed when you click on the alert. If whatever caused the motion is gone, you don’t get to see it. They don’t even allow that. Talk about unethical. I doubt my review is going to change any of the corporate minds at Ring, but it does help to inform others of the unethical practices they have in place. I think that they could have done a better job of offering levels of coverage in the app for a gradient price point, and given the ability to save videos to a storage device for free. I believe they would have more customers because more people could afford to have it based on their need. Ring doorbells and cameras are pretty useless without the videos and the basic app capabilities! That’s the point! They know how to hook you and reel you in to keep you paying! Sad.

Ring customer service reps are…
Ring customer service reps are terrible!!! The first rep told me to shush so he could help me. I hung up and called back. The 2nd rep was worse. I was on the phone for 2 hrs and no resolution. All I wanted to do was update the email and phone # on the account and the rep kept going around in circles. She did not know what she was doing. I told her that the account had 2 different emails it could be in, ones we no longer used. She kept trying to send verifications to the emails. I never got them. Then she said "oh, I know what's wrong. There is more than 1 email." Really?? I said that in the first place. This happened about 3 times during the 2 hr long conversation. All I wanted to do was update the info. I asked for a supervisor, she said we can do the same as them. She said as a 1 time courteously she could ask the support team to send me a link so I could update my info. She said check your email. I did it wasn't there. She said oh well it takes around 4 hrs before you receive the email. I said "then why did you tell me to check my email?" She said no, I said it could take up yo 4 hrs. Then she said I can understand your frustration ma'am. These messages are being recorded for training purposes. She definitely needed training. Maybe I should have went with Google or something else. The only reason I bought the ring is because I have all Amazon products and wanted to sync everything. Terrible, terrible customer service.

What security?
I can't complain about the product because I never got to use it. Went to set up the camera and ring says there is an account already setup with a camera in a totally different state in my name and email. Can't setup the new camera (bought on prime days) because I don't know the password to the fraud account. She asked for the mac address on the new camera which I gave her, and she said the device was stolen. LOL What a joke of a company. I wouldn't trust them for any security.

I am unable to view the live view…
I am unable to view the live view feature or history whenever motion is detected! This compleatly defeats the purpose of owning a Ring security device. I prefer to catch incidents rather than see the aftermath when my live view resumes 5min later. Customer service admits its a glitch in their service, but I have to be home inorder for them to fix the issue. STUPID! The point of a security system is to safeguard my home and catch intruders. Not record the aftermath. Ring shows they are 100% incompetent and falsely promotes their cameras as a security system. But if I need to be home inorder for it to work then it's useless. I could just look out the window to witness motion, atleast I'll see more than a black screen. As soon as I arrive home I'm definitely looking into a better doorbell system. One that actually works when needed, sush as when motion is detected!

I purchased this ring doorbell in…
I purchased this ring doorbell in November 7, 2021. Had to charge battery in June 2022 for the first time set on regular mode. Technical support told me to change mode setting to fend so I did. Now it July 2022 need to charge battery again less than a month later. Had to contact technician support again. Mr. Andrew said it nothing wrong with the device. I asked to speak with someone else he said it no one else. I work hard for my money for someone to steal it. So I contact Amazon they give me a refund so I can order a new one. Thank God for Amazon!

Ring deurbel lost op
Onze Ring deurbel lost na een jaartje letterlijk op. De behuizing is gemaakt van een hele zachte metaal die kennelijk niet tegen regen kan. Mailen met Ring had geen enkele zin.

Outside camera
I have an outside ring camera that has be up about 2 years. It is slow to show movement or does not show any at all. It also turns everything pink on the camera screen. I have to take something outside and tap on the camera to turn it back to the natural outdoor colors. It does not stay this way and I have to keep going out to tap on it. This is one of the worst investments I have made for my safety.

Die Hardware ist nur der Köder...
hätte ich mal vorher die Bewertungen gelesen. So musst ich alles selbst erfahren. Eigentlich ist die Hardware nutzlos, wenn man kein Abo abschließen möchte. Schade.

Up your game Ring!!!
Ring, up your game in the customer service Department! Do not order directly from Ring.com. If you have to return anything is merely impossible! Even when you have just order from them and the equipment has not been used. I was on the phone for almost 3 hours trying to get a return label to send unused equipment back. I guess it not easy for them to send a return label to your e-mail address anymore??? This experience has been wild to me. Ring needs to readjust their customer service experience and how they are using employee time. Being on the phone for almost 3 hours for a return label is excessive and bad business. Not cool Ring!

Ring cameras are helpful when looking at your property but the moment someone sets foot on my property, the cameras take too long to load live view and by then, my guests are gone.
Ring cameras are helpful when trying to keep watch and they pull right up when no one is present but the second it notifies me that someone is approaching my property, the cameras freeze, the app glitches, and by the time the cameras decided to pull open up to show me what’s going on, whoever rang my door bell is already gone. The app doesn’t let me communicate with visitors due to it taking for ever to load ONLY when someone sets foot on my property. Watch out for the ring doorbell as well as the flood light camera. Not a one of them works as advertised.

Slechte app, traag en duur
Slechte app, veel te traag en veel te duur abonnement. Van de 8x dat een bezorger aan de deur stond is het me 1x gelukt via de Ring contact te maken. Heb het abonnement dan ook gelijk opgezegd. Meer vragen en slechte service leveren is belachelijk. Koop dit ding niet.

Ring chime waardeloos
Al enige tijd een Ring bel. Die doet het wel en die werkt prima via je iPhone. Echter die chime is niks, zodat de rest van de bewoners de bel niet hoort. Hij heeft het een tijdje gedaan, maar nu is hij onbruikbaar en alle verhalen op internet hoe je hem weer aan de praat moet krijgen, werken niet. Ik denk dat ik een nieuwe bel moet kopen. Let wel: geen Ring!

There is no complaint email address…
There is no complaint email address only telephone, so no written record. I bought 4 floodlight cameras and doorbell 4 direct but it was cheaper elsewhere i.e. from their parent AMAZON. I linked my account when buying but it doesn't get you the discount. Overcharged by $173. I was going to increase the cameras but will not be buying Ring again. By the time I noticed it was past the price match date ie Price matching against themselves. Customer service tried to tell me they are a partner and not owned by Amazon.
