Worst customer service and return…
Worst customer service and return policy ever!!! i ordered the ring online so i had to return it to them. after spending half my saturday connecting the cameras they would not stay connected if i walked out of the house with them. Customer service had me hang one and try. Still no good. after moving my router and working with them for a good two hours she says i need a pro chime. Well im far from alot of things but i drive one hour each way to buy two. Talk to someone again, set up the chimes and still no good. They say your house must be too big, no its a small beach cabin and is 750 sq ft.MAkes me try moving router again along with the chimes. still no good. We go thru all kinds of things including my in and out internet speed, which was not the problem. After hours so far this saturday i finally say, i want to return it, how do i do that? after another good hour she finally "approves" my return and sends me a label and says go to ups to ship it. i go to ups and they inform me ring didnt give me a pre paid return label. are you kidding me? I go home and once again call and after waiting and talking with someone another hour and 17 minutes, i finally have a label thats pre paid. The customer service rep finally says that i need to call them with tracking number after i see that they recieved it. wait? yall dont know when you get it? You gave me the pre paid postage. So today when i saw they had recieved it i spent another almost hour telling her the tracking number and staring my refund.

Very disappointed with this product
Very disappointed with this product. Installed the doorbell first, found out it was defective and a new one will be sent. Installed the wired floodlight camera next. First, the metal bracket sent to mount the light was stripped. Worked around that problem, but then the lights wouldn't come on at night with motion. Had to reset and do numerous things to get that to work. But during daylight hours of the next day, the lights would come on to motion. Called customer service again, tried different things to fix that issue and it was decided that it was a bad unit. They will send a replacement. Afraid to set up the interior alarm system. Thinking about returning everything. The quality of the products are very, very poor, but go figure, the products are made in China.

Ring is a joke and a scam!
Ring is a joke and a scam!! They want you to pay to view video????? This is a useless doorbell camera. I should be able to monitor my own door and useless alerts without paying. I also have Arlo which let's me see video for 7 days of rolling video FREE!!!! Also have a Wyze camera for indoor motion and sound..FREE. WHAT IS RING THINKING...SCAM. This is useless when Ring records useless information!!! and wants me to pay for that. If something criminal happens, my monitoring would get rid of the useless information and I could pinpoint the criminal activity. Give the owner 7 days of rolling video FREE and then delete!!! FREE

Outdoor ring cameras turn off recording by themselves
Same thing as some of the reviews. Ring camera recording inconsistent at best. I had an incident in my driveway this weekend which wasn’t recorded, that was the last straw I canceled my subscription. Tech Support is talking to a robot and I am over it. Anybody wanna buy some half-price cameras?

Bought 6 camera's, 2 never worked. Sent them back as requested. Never got the replacement. The good news is every time I contacted them they understood how frustrating it was. Paid for 6 got 4.

A short and sweet review of Ring Home Security. RUN A FAST 180 away from this company! When we first got our Spotlight Cam it was fabulous. As of an idiotic "update" in October 2021, they ruined it. Too long for details, but don't waste your money on this company. The Ring Stick Up Cam (battery version) has been less of a headache, but it offers enough of them also. The company tech support (simply put) stinks! The devices never tell you that they need an update or you need to manually update the devices. They just figure you'll know when they mess up functional devices or when the devices don't work like they used to. So you grab a ladder and only to find out that you need reboot it to get an update. Ring has been spending too much time cranking out new "toys" to sell trying to compete with the many other security companies out there. They need to slam on those brakes and fine tune what they have now. That includes LISTENING TO THEIR CUSTOMERS.

I purchased 4 cameras and 2 doorbells
I purchased 4 cameras and 2 doorbells. Had 2 cable internet lines, one for cameras and other for all else. The cameras were touch and go, not consistent for a security system. Unreliable. Canceled my account and gave equip to a friend. They, Ring, will not let him use the equip until I login to my "deleted account" and transfer to him. So I called for assistance and Ring offered none. Terrible customer service. Look elsewhere.

By far the absolute worst customer service …
By far the absolute worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I sat on the phone for literally 2 hours while they tried to tell me that I didn’t have a problem when I could look at my app and all the devices were offline. I could not understand the girl I was talking to, she was clearly new and had no idea what she was doing, she just kept telling me to do the same exact thing over and over, when I asked to talk to the advanced team they refused, I then asked to talk to a manager, and they said they’re not available and it would be 4-5 hours before they call back, at one point in time she acted like she couldn’t hear me for about 45 seconds after us being on the phone for over an hour. I could go on and on, just save yourself the time and money and don’t buy this junk! By the way none of my devices work still..

June 16,2022 Today I called the ring door bell customer service because i could not get my phone to connect the jerk on the other end was so rude !! yes i was annoyed cause i had been tying it for a while but i stated to him im not understanding what he was saying he was talking like he had a mouth full of marbles he began to sigh i said ill call back later very unprofessional !!!!!

Customer Serive is the absolute WORST
Their customer service is absolutely and utterly incompetent. Every time I've had an issue that isn't 100% cookie cutter and routine it's like their heads explode even trying to process the request. Simple questions like "which account of mine renewed?" or "how do I change the primary account holder if I no longer have access to the original account but am the one paying for it?" causes seemingly endless frustration as you jump through hoops just trying to get the most basic information from an employee whose entire job is seemingly just trying to tell you they have no information whatsoever in their entire company so you should just hang up and do it yourself online. It's absolutely stunning how much info you need to give them to set up an account or create shared users - but somehow none of that information is available to ANYONE in customer service. Unless you go through voice, email, text, first born child's blood type(gotta be the next thing they ask) and endless other authentications they simply can't answer a basic question such as "is my account active?" Grossly incompetent on all levels.

At first, the customer service was great. I have the first gen with extended warranty. My spot light camera won’t work anymore, went through the very basic troubleshooting, we determined it needed to be replaced. He put me on hold and cam back and said they could not replace it because it was not under warranty and that I had a lapse in my plan for a day. The lapse was that they charged my account a $1 for a replacement I did a year earlier on another product. My warranty never lapsed….sounds like a bit of not honoring the warranty that was paid. I will sell my Ring products (I have 7) and don’t recommend anyone buy the product, especially the plan.

I ordered the Ring Alarm Pro system…
I ordered the Ring Alarm Pro system through the ring website. Before I forked over the money I contacted someone at Ring to ensure I can get the professionally monitored service where I live (Ontario, Canada). He assured me it would work. Once it arrive to my Canadian address using a Canadian Credit Card, I set everything up and the system ran smoothly, but I could not sign up for professional monitoring. I contacted Ring again and the agent diagnosed that the Ring Alarm Pro professional monitoring would not work in Canada, I need the Ring Alarm. I could return the product and order the one that should work in my region, but I have to take everything down, re package and ship back, then wait to get my refund after it arrives. They told me that I couldn't just exchange to base stations. I'm happy that I'm able to return the product and hope that the one I get will work as needed, but annoyed at the entire process.

RING CS SUCKS!
If I could give customer support zero stars, that's what it would have. They act like you have a learning impediment or they can't comprehend English!!!! My camera is no longer allowing my solar panel to charge and not staying connecting to my wifi. I did all the trouble shooting even ordered a new solar panel still not working. So because they're not listening to the FACTS, THAT 1: MY WIFI CONNECTIONS IS FINE AND IT WAS PERFECTLY CONNECTED ALL OF LAST SUMMER & 2: I'VE ALWAYS GOTTEN LOTS OF NOTIFICATIONS, BECAUSE THAT'S HOW I WANT IT, AND IT NEVER USED TO BE AN ISSUE. They won't grant my warranty to replace the camera, just keep saying what I've already told them the problem is and want me to change my settings to get less notifications instead. DO NOT GO WITH RING!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NONEXISTENT! THEY NEED NEW TRAINING!

Mega waardeloos apparaat
Ik schrijf eigenlijk nooit een review maar dit is echt een Mega waardeloos apparaat, ik heb de ring 3 met chime. Wanneer iemand aanbelt is er geen verbinding te krijgen. Streamfout, of van de week ineens de accu spanning te laag waardoor hij uitschakelt. (Terwijl hij aan constante spanning hangt, ook werkelijk gemeten met multimeter) Ik heb meerdere keren gebeld en je moet telkens dezelfde stappen doorlopen. En als hij het per ongeluk 1x doet wimpelen ze je snel af zodat je een dag later weer met een bel zit die niet werkt. Hij heeft de eerste week prima gewerkt.. maar daarna eigenlijk nooit wat aan gehad omdat de bezorger van je pakket weg is als je al een x kan verbinden… Ik koop nooit meer iets van ring! Ik raad mensen af dit te kopen.. klachten worden niet opgelost!

Unreliable Ring floodlight cameras
Bought 2 Ring floodlight cameras for security at our home in FL. Worked well for a month and a half. Both just went offline at the same time. Everything else remained online including 2 other Ring battery-powered cameras and our Ring doorbell. Tried resetting the router as suggested with no success. Ring "help" (definitely an oxymoron) says I have to push a button on each camera and go through the setup process again. That's a problem when you're 1200 miles away. Some security.

At first they give you the bell and whistle for free. Do not buy!!! It is a trick. Right now I got an email that my trial has ended. There was no trial to begin with. It was $3/ Device for a year. The basic plan was great ar first and gone useless when they kept on changing what's included.

video deurbel is niet volgens beloftes
De ring vid3o deurbel is niet volgens beloftes. Werkt prima en snel maar vragen 30 euro voor een jaarabonnement en 30 dagen terug te bekijken. Hier al 3x 30 euro van mijn rekening gehaald in 4 maanden tijd met problemen om het bedrag terug te verkrijgen. Ik kan ook maar 4 dagen terug bekijken terwijl men 30 dagen beloofd. Al vele uren aan de telefoon gehangen alsook zou het hier aan mijninterney liggen. Andere modem, installateur laten uitzoeken maar hier alles in orde, het probleem na 5 maand nog steeds niet opgelost. Willen zogezegd helpen maar doen niks. Lange telefoons, 1 van 3u 40', niks opgeleverd.

Ik vind: Stelletje inhalige asociale boeven zijn het! Met aanbiedingen trekken ze je over de streep. Enkele maanden geleden afgesloten voor 2 camera,s 60 euro abonnement. Na een half jaar opeens 80 euro een PRIJSVERHOGING VAN BIJNA 35%%% Met als reden we bewaren de opnames nu 180 dagen inplaats va 30 dagen. Hoe nou? Als er wordt ingebroken wacht je echt 179 dagen om de beelden te bekijken pffffff Trouwens waarom kun je beelden niet realtime opslaan op je computer of telefoon? Nee hoor kom niet aan ons verdien model! Tis net een printer lekker goedkoop totdat je nieuwe inkpatronen nodig hebt Kassa!! Dus niet aan te bevelen deze club. Ik vind het een stelletje boeven!!
