WORSE security camera system ,I regret bought so many cameras. I do not recommend purchasing Ring at all.

very poor customer service

i called customer service about several problems, the first was about the sensitivity setting , i have it at the lowest setting and the rain set it off and its under the eve and second was a spider built a web that set it off, now i agree they can't stop those 2 problems but when i called to ask about it i was told to turn the motions off, that was the whole purpose in buying the video doorbell and the spotlight camera, very stupid reply . And then i had to call about billing , when i installed the cameras i did'nt buy the wifi extender , so i ordered it and was gave 2 months ring protect free even though i was already paying for it. they sent me a email a month later saying that they was refunding 50 cents of my payment and then said my account was cancelled in the next 2 emails and then checked my bank account and seen where they deducted a monthly fee,tried to get answers but no results. i cancelled the ring protect that i really like but don't trust the billing department any longer. and they say they never offered the 2 months free but they did. i really wish i could have talked to someone in mgmt but from what i have read thats not possible. i won't recommend their product unless they fix the customer service

This is by far the worst cutsosmer service expereince I have ever received. They closed my accout by mistake. Now I can't transfer these devices to another account. The customer serice people do not what they suppose to do and asking for recepicts of the devices I purchased and so on....I am more than happy to chnage the vendor.

I wish if I could give them 0 star review. They sent me used products with missing part, if you want to return it good luck!!!!! You have to wait for couple of weeks to create return label. this is absolutely ridiculous and scam!!!!

I would give this a zero if I could. I purchased the ring doorbell for a little over a year and it’s now unresponsive. I contacted customer service and all they could do is give me a 35% discount for a NEW device. Why would I spend more money on a new device when I’ve had my current once for less than 2 years and it decided to crap out on me? I spoke with a manager and there was “nothing” she could do but give me a discount code. That’s pathetic. I even replaced a new battery and nothing worked. DO NOT PURCHASE their products it will crap out on me after a year. Not A good investment, save your money and go elsewhere.

Ring Video Doorbell is junk

I received a Ring doorbell as a gift...the wired model. I installed it exactly as the directions said. It worked for about 5 minutes, then quit. I determined the transformer was burned out. Bought another transformer and re-did the installation. The doorbell burned out the second transformer as well. I called customer service. Getting through to customer service is another hassle I won't even get into. The person I spoke to has such a heavy accent, both my wife and I had a hard time understanding them. After I asked them to repeat something for the third time, they hung up on me. I called again and got a different person. They still had an accent but not as bad. I explained the problem with two transformers burning out. Customer service said "that can't happen." There are many, many reviews saying it happens all the time. The rep questioned every step of my installation. She even had me send photographs of the connections I had made. Finally she said there is a resistor in the doorbell that will reset in 24 hours and everything will work perfectly. What a load of crap! I've installed numerous doorbells and I know there is no resistor. I uninstalled the doorbell and the person who gave it to me was able to return it for credit. After this experience, I will never buy or recommend any Ring product.

Bought ring stick up cameras customer service is from some unknown country telling me my cell phones are not working while they work on every other application I have complete waste of time taking these cameras back and I didn’t even open the box yet

Ring is the worst supposed security…

Ring is the worst supposed security system...battery; even when hard wired, gets chilly in the northeast,(go figure)...goes dead and requires removal and re-charge! What a joke, goes dead when away from home and you can't recharge; wonderful idea for a "security system" Way to go Ring!!!! You definitely need to rethink your business plan.

Can only ring once

These doorbells can't ring more then one time. If you don't hear it, whoever rang the bell is locked outside. Delivery people also can't ring more then once meaning more missed packages. If you want a doorbell that actually works like a doorbell and doesn't look like a plastic AliExpress toy, get a regular door bell.

Beeld is goed. Behuizing is zeer slecht, coating lost op terwijl hij onder overkapping hangt. Deurbel zit nog in de garantie maar volgens ring valt dit niet onder de garantie. Indien iemand een deurbel wil is mijn advies geen ring nemen.

My ring hasn't been working for a month…

My ring hasn't been working for a month and when I called customer service they wanted to give me a partial refund on my yearly subscription starting from the day I called and NOT from the day it stopped working. I asked to speak to a manager 5-6-7 times and the rep would put me on hold for 1-2 minutes, come back on, say she is still waiting for a manager to then finally say there is NO MANAGER available to speak with me. Also, I was on the phone for 55 minutes trying to reset it with the customer service representative. My ring doorbell was less than 2 years old when it stopped working. I will NOT USE them again!

Nach der Übernahme durch amaz*n geht es nur noch um's Verkaufen, wie auch die massive und stets nur positive Werbung und Bewertung der ring Produkte im Internet zeigt. Der Support für ältere Modelle wird hingegen rasch eingestellt und bei jeder Gelegenheit wird versucht, einem das kostpielige ring-Abonnement aufzuschwatzen. Die ring-App funktioniert äußerst mäßig und der Verbindungsaufbau nach Betätigung der Klingel oder einer Bewegungserfassung ist sehr schleppend. Die Videoverbindung dauert ewig und klappt nicht immer. Sobald Probleme bei der Einrichtung oder Verbindungsprobleme auftreten, ist man alleingelassen. Der - zumeist nur englischsprachige - support ist ausschließlich online und läuft schnell in eine Endlosschleife, wo früher noch echte Menschen am helpdesk saßen. Mit zunehmendem Alter häufen sich übrigens die Verbindungsprobleme und die ring-Produkte (also auch Zubehör, wie z.B. die sogenannten "chimes") entwickeln sich zu echten Zeitfressern - hey, Zeit für ein neues ring-Produkt! Schade, aber jetzt reine Beutelschneiderei und absolut NICHT zu empfehlen.

Awful service

The customer service is awful. I ordered a camera and privacy kit. The camera arrived in 2 weeks after more than 3 months the privacy kit had not arrived. When I called the only option they could offer was to refund the cost and I was told to reorder it online. They blamed the logistical group. Apparently it is a totally dysfunctional company.

Though i do like their product, Customer Service is Terrible

Though i do like their product, their customer service is terrible. I had to fight to make a return within the time and then they did not automatically refund me. They did not respond to several email attempts to get status. I again needed to spend time contacting customer service to get the refund processed three months after they received my approved return. Their customer service in the US is lovely, but their customer service overseas is completely time consuming and not well-trained. There are other options out there, i would not buy from Ring again.

Awful

Awful, don’t buy it. Keeps freezing, person calls, next update could be 4 minutes and person gone. My internet is very good, it’s the camera, pure garbage, don’t buy.

Installation of Ring was AWEFUL for 2 hours!

I bought doorbell 2 and with the help of ring customer service could not get the doorbell linked to my ring app on my phone. we tried for 2 hours and I gave up and am returning this product for a refund.

Nie wieder. Zuerst schonmal sehr komplizierte Einbindung ins W-Lan Netz. Nach 3 Jahren schon defekt. Da kann ich auch gleich eine Billig Klingel kaufen.

RING taugt nicht die Bohne

RING taugt nicht die Bohne. Bewegungen werden gemeldet wenn Sie schon vorbei sind, bis zu 10 sec. Verzögerung. Sprache geht mal, mal nicht. Verständlichkeit der Sprache grottenschlecht. Ein absoluter Fehlkauf.

Ring deurbel lost op.

Onze Ring deurbel lost binnen een jaar op. Het apparaatje heeft een omhulsel van zacht aluminium met een flinterdun laagje lak. Binnen een jaar zitten er letterlijk al gaten in het aluminium. Helaas, de klantenservice meld dat het weliswaar binnen de garantietermijn is, maar het probleem niet binnen de garantie valt.

Wired Ring doorbell cam

We recently obtained one of your wired doorbell cams. Unbeknownst to us, this product has a basic design flaw. It does not operate in the same manner as any other doorbell sold on the market. I called their help line when I was told that this product is the only one that required the additional purchase of a separate “Ring” doorbell chime. This is insane. Why wasn’t this product designed with a simple set of contacts that would virtually make it compatible with everything. This would have allowed us to utilize the existing chime installed in our home.

Ben niet tevreden over de Ring

Ben niet tevreden over de Ring. Het gebeurt regelmatig dat hij het gewoon niet doet. En het geluid is ook zeer slecht. Als ik niet thuis ben en er iemand aanbelt, als hij werkt dus, is de persoon niet te verstaan en het is allemaal vertraagd. Ga binnenkort weer over op de oude deurbel. Werkt nl altijd.

Waardeloos product

Waardeloos product, software te traag: belt iemand aan dan weet je telefoon het pas later, eenmaal dat dan de app is geopend dan is de persoon lang en breed vertrokken. Ik heb de Doorbell 2 op accu, waarbij de eerste accu stierf binnen het jaar, de tweede ging nog net een jaar mee maar is nu ook kapot. Waardeloos, vervolgens gebeld naar de Ring klantenservice en zij zeiden dat ik alleen met 30% korting een nieuwe accu kon kopen. Dan zou ik wellicht volgend jaar weer zonder zitten. Men wilde niet verder meedenken aangezien dat niet in hun systeem stond. Eind van het gesprek werd de medewerker boos en hing abrupt op. Bespaar je de moeite en koop iets goeds, een Ring is echt Waardeloos.

Doorbell stopped working

Doorbell stopped working. Impossible to ring to customer service. Contacted on Facebook took all my details said i will be give a replacement 3 weeks gone nothing Contacted them again said so sorry your order is being processed. Contacted again ignoring for last week. Avoid pitty such a good technology customer service ridiculous
