prima product, slechte service
Producten werken prima als je stabiele wifi hebt, maar als er iets mis is, dan heb je een probleem. Klantenservice is echt dramatisch. Je moet echt enorm lang wachten. Wacht al ruim 2 maanden op het terugkrijgen van mijn geld voor een product wat niet geleverd is. Je kunt het product beter bestellen via lokale elektronica en witgoed specialist. Hetzelfde product, maar wel met service en snelle levering via een betrouwbare bezorgservice.

Doorbell. Good product. Awful service. Batteries die very quickly
Doorbell: Good product; works well if tyou have a strong wi-fi signal; sturdy and good quality. However batteries are not retaining charge anylonger, at less than a year of original purchase). After claiming warranty twice, the company has never returned to me, not even with a "we are sorry response". I will never buy another ring device from ring

Worst customer service!
Worst customer service!! Its taken me over a month and 4 chats with customer service to get a simple window sticker mailed to me. And I still don't have it. "sorry- for some reason our shipping department didn't send it out", "it was mailed out", "it looks like it arrived- oops, sorry, it went to the wrong state", "its supposed to get there tomorrow"..... And I still don't have a stinking window sticker!!!! Is this a real company??!!

Absolutely hate Ring doobell!
I have top tier Wifi, so I know signal strength isn't an issue, but this Ring doorbell I bought because my Nest doorbell finally crapped out new one is coming out in 2022( but was fantastic with notifications etc). I can't even tell you how after the fact the notifications are. If I were a thief, I'd have my whole house cleaned out before I receive a notification. Nest had continuous feed history down to the second. So when I get a Ring notification and I click on it to view it, it processes for almost 20 seconds, and then the damn person is gone. What is the point? Nest was always instant!! As soon as the new Nest wired doorbell comes out, I'm tossing this Ring in the trash!

This has to be one of the worst companies in the history of humanity! We have been "held captive" and subjected to abusive, demeaning, stone-walling behavior and incompetence for more than 2 weeks trying to resolve issues about our account, operating failures of the front door camera to our phones, and totally frustrated, exasperated, and angered beyond belief at the miserable experience in dealing with this company and its incompetent, rude, and non-listening/non-helping representatives. Enough. Stay away from Ring unless you want to be humiliated.

NEVER buy directly from Ring
NEVER buy directly from Ring. Customer service is a joke. Our solar floodlight worked great for about 3 months and then abruptly stopped working. Because we were outside the return window, I had to call in and the agents were so difficult to work with. I spent hours on the phone with them to process a simple refund. After returning the product with provided shipping label, no refund received. Had to call AGAIN and they had the guts to issue me a partial refund over email. What a joke and waste of time. I assumed Ring was a reputable company, but absolutely the worst customer service. It’s not worth my time to fight with them over the last $20 but I am astounded how awful they are. They don’t stand behind their products. If you need a Ring product, buy from someone like Lowe’s that will actually provide you a refund.

Worthless Trash
Ring doorbell products are absolute trash. I have had mine for two years and have adjusted the motion settings 101 times and STILL this thing does not pick up people walking up to my front porch. However, it seems to pick up and record EVERY. CAR. THAT DRIVES BY MY HOUSE. but NEVER someone parking out front, getting out, walking around and walking up to my front porch. I get the ass half of a delivery man EVERY TIME!!! How does it not pick up a moving human person, which is in fact the REASON WE HAVE THE CAMERA, but it picks up and records every car that drives by????? Absolutely worthless product, I have no confidence whatsoever that my home is protected with this device and I would never recommend it to anyone that I love.

Horrible account access
Horrible account access. Transfer process absolutely overcomplicated and does not work. Tech support could not wipe my account so that I could attempt recreate and had no way to access from there.

Atrocious Customer Service and Alarm Monitoring
I will attempt to convey in words how disappointed I am with Ring so that no one experiences what I have had to experience. I have spent approximately four thousand five hundred dollars on Ring security equipment and installation. Ring recommends On Tech for installation. An On Tech technician came to my home to figure out the best security system. I ordered five floodlights with video and motion sensors that required electricity. I had to hire a contractor to install the wires. I ordered two battery powered spotlights with solar panels because running wires to the two locations would be difficult. After the lights were installed, the battery powered lights were not very bright and the motion sensors did not work very well when they work. I had to replace the two battery powered lights with electrical powered lights after the contractor installed the electrical. Since this took longer than thirty days, I was unable to return the battery powered lights. As for the alarm system, it has serious issues. One issue is that when you are at home and alarm the system, one entry such as the front door is on a delayed time before the alarm is triggered. My alarm was triggered two times and both times the monitoring service did not inform the police. I was told after the first time that the police would be called if it happened again, and I was not contacted by the monitoring service. The second time my alarm was triggered, I received an automated voice message notifying me my alarm was triggered and of my cancellation request. I did not receive the call and I never requested to cancel the police to be called. I called Ring and requested to speak with the monitoring department a few hours later. I was told that the monitoring department could not take my call, and someone would call me back within twenty-four hours. I asked the customer support representative for his name, and he told me his first name. I requested his last name or employee ID number. He refused to give me either. I asked where he was located, and he told me the Caribbean. I asked what Island and he refused to tell me. I asked to speak with his supervisor. He told me that his supervisor would call me within twenty-four hours. I requested that his supervisor email me so that I would have his name or employee ID number. His supervisor sent an email to me with only his first name and a department email address. I requested his name and he refused. I requested the CEO’s email address and he refused. Ring has been a nightmare for me. I cannot believe I wasted so much money.

Spotlight wireless camera quit recording,spent 2 hours on the Phone and they said its RARE for this to Happen and offered me a 35% discount to buy another one,instead of offering me a Replacement just hoping I can save someone the hassle,RING SUX,and their customer service sux,dont waste Your MONEY THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT!!!

Customer service is almost worthless, just get a lawyer.
Spent over $1500 dollars on ring everything. Flood light cam, door bell cam, "stick up" cam, Security system, and of course, solar panels for the outdoor cameras. Added "doorbell 3" to my cart. A suggestion comes up for a solar panel. I select it. Order comes. I read, read, and reread the instructions and then I watched a couple youtube videos. Keep in mind, this is the recommended accessory from ring themselves. The panel instructions say to mount the doorbell cam. Then mount the solar panel, run your wires, and connect the fork connectors to the beck of the cam. Did that. Still did not show that solar attachment was there. Call ring "customer service". They say "well why did you order that one, its the wrong one for that doorbell". Im MAD! Then they try to tell me I have to pay for the correct one. I tell them where they can stick that idea and they relent. I bring up the issue of these worthless holes in my metal siding as per their instructions. They....ready for it?....deposit $30 in my ring account!?! Can only be used for their add on services. To make matters worse. Contractor friend of mine says that this is discontinued siding and we're looking at approximately $500 to fix these two small holes. Call ring again and explained what had happened again. Told them I'd be willing to get however many quotes as they liked but I could almost guarantee that this would be the least expensive. They told me that $30 is the most that they are authorized to give back and that I was at the end of the escalation process. I asked for conatact info for their lawyers (law team or whatever you want to call them) and they do not have the slightest idea who to contact. I have a hard time believing I am the first that this has happened to and that wanted to contact someone towards the top. Typical amizon I guess. I know they probably don't think anything is gonna come of it, and maybe not. But I am not going to just sit here and let them guide others into lowering their property values. Great idea. Camera quality is pretty good and there is a-lot to be said about the convenience....when it works. Just make sure to do your research and remember...thank the Lord that we live in a capitalist system and THEY WORK FOR US!

Just installed Ring Door Bell
Just installed Ring Door Bell. The Ring security alarm works but the original door chime does not work. In addition, there was nothing in the installation documentation that showed you how to adjust the sensitivity of the device. The device was sending an alarm every time a car went by!! i had to call tech support. When I called tech support, I had to go thru an elaborate verification of who I was. That took about 10 minutes. When it came to helping solve my problems, the tech was very patient. Which i did appreciate. He was also very skilled at solving my issue. He did help me fix the sensitivity issue. The door chime problem he said needed to have a diode installed to get the doorbell chime to work. The tech said they used to send the diode with the ring device but stopped doing that, now we have to do it on our own. He said I need to call an electrician to find out what type of diode I need to get. Then I need to go to an electrical supplies store and purchase it. Since I am not an electrical expert, they suggested calling an electrician to have it installed. Here is what needs to happen: - ring needs to go back to sending the diode with the ring device - ring needs to provide information on setting device sensitivity on the ring device in the installation documentation.

Absolutely Horrible
Absolutely Horrible Attempted to purchase a Ring package for our home. It was so difficult to do, I decided if it would be this hard just to purchase the equipment then I should steer clear. I attempted to make the purchase and had a coupon code. However, they stated to use the code I had to setup a protection plan. I attempted to do that. But they stated in order to setup a protection plan I needed to purchase the devices. What good is the coupon code after I made the purchase? Just entirely too difficult to deal with. It usually gets more difficult to deal with after you make a purchase. Ring takes the cake. They attempt to steer you away from making purchases. That is definitely a new one for me.

Is gewoon troep. Nu 2 weken in bezit en wordt er niet goed van. Krijg nooit meldingen binnen. Eerste paar dagen wel gewerkt. 2e telefoon toegevoegd. Die kreeg wel meldingen. Om ook deze te ontvangen gereset en weer 2e toestel toegoegd. En geprobeerd 2e account aan te maken maar tevergeefs. De router staat 2m vandaan. Samen met de chime. Gewoon troep.

This is the biggest waste of $500.00 I have ever spent. This pruduct is garbage. Never works or responds according to settings. Batteries always go dead and have to recharge. Set motion settings to detect and it does not detect anything, but maybe a squirl or sun set change. Crap, crap, crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ring sucks!!!
I have called five or six times and I cannot get someone who understands english. It says press one for English and they all sound like they're from india. I spell out my email address three or four times and they don't understand it. I tell them I've reset everything and they still want me to keep trying. My doorbell is less than a year old and I just want a new goddamn doorbell. I'm going to get rid of ring and go to something else where I can actually talk to someone who speaks English

I give this company zero stars! The customer service is the worst! I ordered replacement batteries for my doorbell but it doesnt even take batteries although that was one of the additional items you could purchase with your doorbell. I called customer service it took them almost a week to send the shipping label. They received the merchandise back on October the 13th, I still have not received my refund! They keep giving me the run around about my refund smh. I am about to report them to the BBB!

Destined for the ocean floor
In the 12 months I've owned this pile of poo I've had the following devices replaced under warranty: 2 Wired Stickup Cams 11 Solar Pathlights The whole system is garbage and less reliable than a 76' AMC Gremlin. Customer service is an absolute nightmare as well. My 9 yr old comprehends more than these people. I swear it's part of their training to tick off customers with never before seen levels of incompetence and uselessness.

Enkele maanden gelden een ring alarm gekocht en ben er over het algemeen tevreden over. Echter was na één week een contactsensor defect, hiervoor had ik alle begrip dit kan nou eenmaal gebeuren. Onmiddellijk contact opgenomen met de klantenservice, wat al bij al een ramp was. Communicatie is een ramp want de taal is ronduit ondermaats, opvolging nog desastreuzer. Na weken wachten beloven ze een nieuwe sensor op te sturen onder garantie, vandaag weken later ontving ik enkel maar een magneetstrip zonder de sensormodule totaal waardeloos en biedt ook geen oplossing voor de defecte sensor. Ik weet niet op basis van welke kwaliteiten hun medewerkers worden geslecteerd maar professionaliteit en snel van begrip zijn ze alles behalve. Na 3 maanden heb ik nog steeds geen vervangen voor de defecte sensor. Het alarm is aanvaardbaar maar service na verkoop is 0 EUR waard vandaar de relatief lage kostprijs van het systeem. Eens iets defect is raad ik aan gewoon opnieuw te kopen, garantie kennen ze niet en professionaliteit al zeker niet!

Vier Akku Kameras gekauft, Installation hat geklappt, habe beim Kauf gar nicht geschnallt was Ring Protect ist. Habe es Später 30 Tage danach gemerkt, das keine Aufzeichnung mehr möglich ist . Nur bei einer Abzockprämie monatlich möglich. Bei meiner Abus Kamera ist es umsonst. Kein Wunder warum Amazon immer reicher wird.
