Honestly these products are way over…
Honestly these products are way over priced for what they are. I was excited to get these cameras (wireless spotlight cam) two of them because I have a problematic neighbor and daughters but needless to say I was very disappointed after owning them a few months. The biggest issue I’ve had is the cameras fogging over at night. They fog over and frost over constantly and so far it’s early November and this always happens around 3-4 am which is when a lot of criminal activity happens. Secondly if you want the camera to record all motion definitely invest in a solar panel because the battery life is terrible unless you set the camera on a setting where you’re basically taking a 50/50 chance of catching and important event. For the quality and issues I’ve had with these cameras I wished I would have just went with a more cost effective option or better quality brand.

I have a ring gen 2 doorbell
I have a ring gen 2 doorbell. I can not get live view unless I am on a wifi system when I am not home or even at home. Called customer service got someone in Egypt that finally transferred me to Pennsylvania who tells me it's my phone. I call baloney on that as I can get on my Mother's ring doorbell with no issues. Worst customer service ever and going with someone else.

Worked fine until I purchased the…
Worked fine until I purchased the service to record video. Within 48 hours, my camera froze up and is now offline. Not looking forward to trying to cancel my subscription as it is/was supposed to renew automatically. Great concept. REALLY BAD application.

Freeze Frame
Ring wireless spotlight cam. NO GOOD if you buy it you'll see, records freezes, objects don't move in real time on Live, the more you zoom the more it blurs, terrible, must have called 10 times customer service, troubleshooting don't help, employees don't even know what to do, to help, I guess I have an alternative I can sell it.

Als je iets aan je wifi veranderd wordt opnieuw de pincode van het apparaat gevraagd maar dit staat alléén op de achterzijde van de bel die vast geschroefd zie op je deur.... antwoord van de klantenservice: dan had je er eerst even een foto van moeten maken...

Ring is such a joke a totally waste of money they don’t even work right then when you call customer service number to get help, all you get is foreign lady who can’t even understand English so they have no clue what your talking about! You ask to get help from a manager and then they decide to put you on hold for an hour!!! Who has time for this!!? I’m canceling all my rings I do not recommend them totally waste of time and money!!!

Lousy Ring Video Doorbell
Lousy Ring Video Doorbell After a year the plastic covering on the lens started coming off causing the video to be very cloudy. Called Ring technical support and after forty minutes of troubleshooting with their technician, I forwarded a photo showing the physical defect in the plastic lens covering. At that point the tech informed me my Ring Video Doorbell is out of warranty and the best they could do is offer a slight discount on a new one. No way...what a gimmick. Looking for a new product to get rid of Ring.

Don't buy anything from the website
Don't buy anything from the website. Orders may come in multiple shipments without warning up to several weeks apart. Customer service is not in the USA so working with them is difficult. You can buy the same stuff from Home Depot, Lowes or Amazon and get it much quicker. Customer service is very very disappointing to work with.

Camera neemt niet alles op, want het systeem werkt met tijdseenheden. Dat is bijzonder vervelend, want hierdoor mis je belangrijke momenten. Een inbraak kon hierdoor niet worden opgelost!!!!

Ring CS is pathetic
Ring CS is pathetic. I have received no correspondence regarding the status of my order. My online account doesnt even show any of my orders, so i cant track em. The online chat is just pre-prigrammed and for what, i have no idea its not for tracking my package. And calling in to CS is worse than talking to a computer that doesnt understand your question. Thumbs down on CS.

Gewoon waardeloos
Gewoon waardeloos, overal moet je voor bij betalen. De helft van de tijd functioneert de bel niet, heeft het weer geen wifi verbinding en dat terwijl de router letterlijk 4 meter verder hangt en vol bereik heeft. Support? Kennen ze niet. Had ik dit maar nooit gekocht.

Buyer beware horrible company
It’s no wonder everywhere I look ring has no more than a two star rating I spent $1000 on ring products through the website was promised expedited today free shipping 30 days later nothing arrived I called ring several times no response finally they sent me to a third-party took the third-party three weeks to have half of my order delivered 30 days later never received the other half contacted the CEO through email no response left the CEO a voicemail no response this company is a fraud in my opinion and should be shut down it’s not worth the time or the aggravation

RING has rung the wrong number
RING, RING PRO, RING STICK UP & Support are all a waist of money. I have had several RING products for many years. I have lived through several firmware updates and product changes. NEVER have these products lived up to their promised qualities. The point of having a RING product is to give the customer a sense of security but how can you feel secure when notifications lag? How can you feel secure when the product is unreliable? or when you cannot get a live view in a few seconds or 5 minutes... yes, after the intruders have stolen all your possessions and left... When I call in for support, I am always advised it has to be my Wi-Fi strength. Well, I have giga service throughout my home and I have all new Cat 6 CMP cables to the doorbells and have done several signal tests to confirm it is NOT my Wi-Fi signal strength. In short, don't waist a dime on this product. The competition has come out with better, more reliable hardware that does not require you to pay annually for video storage. You can store all your data on your own drive(s) at no additional cost.

heel slecht produkt! zou het nooit aanraden wegens veel te trage reactie op mijn gsm. bij ring vind je enkel "oplossingen" die nergens toe leiden. gsm geeft pas signaal na 10 sec niettegenstaande router slechts op max 5m van bel, accu volledig opgeladen, enz...IK ZOU HET NOOIT MEER KOPEN!

Cool features, VERY expensive, and thoroughly unreliable
We bought our first Ring device at Costco. Seemed like a good deal (Costco deal was definitely better deal than buying direct). We were worried about packages getting stolen from our porch on our busy street, where foot traffic is common. It worked okay, but there were quite a few times when it failed to record anything despite good internet access/wifi and strong battery. When we moved out of that rented house and into a larger home that we bought we added more devices. Two more cameras and a motion light camera. I upgraded our wifi system to a FANTASTIC Asus WiFi 6 mesh network (with three access points spread across the property; fully backwards-compatible), so now there's nowhere on our property that doesn't have a very strong wifi signal. The access points are even hard wired with CAT6E ethernet cable. 200mbps Xfinity internet that works very well for everything else. Yet Ring can't stay connected and more frequently than ever it fails to record anything. We'll get the notification of movement or the doorbell ringing but not even a thumbnail let alone video gets captured. At the same time the system is far less flexible or intelligent than competitors. Every movement of the dogs in the back yard gets reported (both back door camera and motion light). For what Ring costs (both initial purchase and subscription) it should be vastly more reliable than it is, with both local and cloud storage of captured video for redundancy, buffered uploads when there is an occasional internet access hiccup, etc.

This is the crappiest product…
This is the crappiest product imaginable- the app is pure, unadulterated garbage. My Android version worked fine for about the first year but now does not work at all. It just never, ever loads, I have uninstalled and reinstalled it twice now to absolutely no avail. Why do consumers have to put up with garbage like this? Can someone out there please tell me if there are alternatives that might possibly work with the Ring floodlight camera? By the way, the camera works fine but what good is that when the app will not allow you to see what the camera does? Ever? Just another reason why I HATE everything about Amazon with a passion. The company too freaking big to give a flying fornication about it's customers, screw them.

Doesn’t catch anything and goes off for every car that goes by 100 feet away. Doesn’t catch hardly anyone who drops off packages etc. just a waste. So disappointed

Deceitful Billing Practices
This company has deceitful billing practices. I had ring then stopped using it in May. I went with a better system. Ring however renewed my yearly service by auto draft without any communication prior to pulling out a payment. Then when I called a few days later after it cleared, they agreed to a prorated refund. Prorated for what ? They could clearly see the device was inactive. The rep said when you sign up you agree to auto draft. Autodraft without any heads up. Total bs. This company will do anything for a few bucks. If you want a company that is transparent this surely is not it. Beware !!!!

Ring doorbell pro - nooit gewerkt & niet kunnen ruilen
Ik hoopte via de productgarantie, rechtstreeks bij RING een oplossing te bekomen voor een nieuw defect product. Het toestel kon ik niet aansluiten op de WIFI. Gevraagd om het te mogen terugsturen, en indien inderdaad stuk, enkel dan (omdat ik zeker was van mijn stuk) een nieuw te ontvangen. Zelfs dit kon niet. Ik moest eerst bewijzen dat het niet werkt, maar dat het wel correct aangesloten was. Ik heb het, na veel communicatie, uiteindelijk opgegeven, gezien ik hiervoor telkens een technieker moest laten afkomen.

Great product. Horrific customer service
Great product. HORRIFIC customer service. Every time I call in it takes about at least 1 1/2 hours to attempt to solve a VERY simple problem. My latest. Return three items I did not need and never get refunded due to a very broken outsourced oversees call center. No one employee knows what the H@ll they are doing in Rings customer service department. What is going to destroy Ring LLC is their 3rd party customer service. I'm out $254 from Ring and I am FULLY entitled to a complete refund. I'm about to go to small claims court if I do not get full resolve and I know for a fact I will win with my insormountable evidence. Better yet, perhaps a Class Action Lawsuit. AS I found 100s of other individuals in the same boat I'm in. Hope for full resolve soon I have reported them to the BBB and my credit card company.

I have had issues with my Ring products…
I have had issues with my Ring products including all my cameras a door bell cameras for several years now. The technicians are never helpful. Not even their "supervisors" can help beyond the script and protocol posted on their computer screen! Mo matter how I speak to them (even in Tagalog) they DON'T listen. Especially my Ring Door Bell camera is troublesome and has been for OVER 18 minths now. Continues to fail even after a few dozen "resets" and "fixes on my phone and camera. My last email message to "Jason" an alleged Ring Product "supervisor", I quoted Einstein's theory of insanity, "repeating the same thing, but expecting a different result." In a nutshell, I would strongly dissuade anyone from purchasing ANY Ring products.

Failure of goods and useless communication
Ordered and paid for goods on16th Sept (3-5 days) delivery still haven't got them 18 October. Numeros telephone calls with no result then an email from Ring Community Support saying they were dealing with it. Still not sent only wrong replacement part for previous failed units. They have my money but I have no goods. Communications are useless even if you get an answer passed from pillar to post. Last ditch attempt contacting CEO to get his view.
