Defektes Gerät - Umtausch unmöglich
Spotlight Plus war nach kurzer Zeit defekt. Der Umtausch wurde veranlasst und das defekte Gerät bereits an Ring zurückgeschickt. Mittlerweile habe ich 6 Mal mit dem Kundenservice telefoniert, weil ich bislang kein Ersatzgerät bekommen habe. Die Gespräche waren angenehm und jeder Mitarbeiter hat mir unzählige Male versichert mein Problem jetzt zu lösen. Bis lang ohne Erfolg. Ich warte mittlerweile seit knapp 4 Monaten auf ein Ersatzgerät. Nie wieder Ring.

Op 11 december heb ik bij u een deurbel…
Op 11 december heb ik bij u een deurbel besteld. Volgens de informatie zou deze binnen 3–5 werkdagen geleverd worden, maar ik heb de bestelling nooit ontvangen.
Omdat de levering uitbleef, heb ik op 19 december contact opgenomen via de chat. Tijdens dat gesprek heb ik aangegeven dat ik de deurbel dringend nodig had en dat ik deze niet meer wilde ontvangen als de levering langer zou duren. De medewerker verzekerde mij dat ik de bestelling binnen 1–2 dagen zou ontvangen.
Vandaag is het 26 december en ik heb de deurbel nog steeds niet ontvangen. Ik vind deze gang van zaken erg teleurstellend en onprofessioneel.
Daarom wou ik de bestelling annuleren en ze geven aan dat het nie kan .

Poor customer service for order fulfillment
Placed an order on December 15 with expedited shipping and it’s not going to arrive until December 29. We’re approaching 2026. I can get same-day delivery from a number of retailers. This is not only unacceptable. It’s misleading and a poor practice by the company.
Inacceptable, plus de 6 semaines sans alarme pour un problème de stock
J’ai retourné ma HomeBase Ring au service après vente le 7 novembre suite à une panne. Le retour a été validé par Ring. Plus de 6 semaines après, je n’ai toujours reçu aucun produit de remplacement.
Le service client m’a indiqué qu’il fallait simplement attendre qu’une HomeBase soit de nouveau en stock pour procéder à l’échange. Pendant ce temps, je reste sans système d’alarme.
Ce comportement est inacceptable pour une entreprise qui commercialise des solutions de sécurité domestique. Un problème interne de stock ne devrait jamais laisser un client sans protection pendant plusieurs semaines. Aucun délai clair ni solution alternative n’ont été proposés.
Cela démontre un manque de sérieux et de responsabilité de la part de Ring. Je déconseille fortement cette marque tant que le service après vente n’est pas capable d’assurer un remplacement rapide pour un équipement aussi critique.

On setting up the Ring Security Cameras and changing the location in the Control Centre.
I then received an Email stating my Subscription had been cancelled and a $75 refund had been issued to my original payment method.
I called the support and tried to explain to the "agent" that when you leave Saudi Arabia, ALL accounts are closed and there is no access to them.
He continued to read from his cue cards stating the money would go back to the bank and NOT to the new bank account i listed in the settings...basically, he was telling me my money was lost and RING would do nothing about it
I purchased multiple cameras
I purchased multiple cameras, both indoor and out. I also purchased a Ring doorbell. I went with a monthly plan. I was really happy! My research paid off.
Last month, I noticed 1 of the outdoor cameras was burning through the battery life. Did I mention i purchased some of my cameras from Amazon due to the long delivery time from Ring. Same price.
I called to discuss with Ring. The first call was great. He was able to confirm the camera was defective. Unfortunately, I was not in a position to give him the required information. I called back the following day. They had fairly good notes to go off of. After supplying the information, the amount of pictures, and paperwork they were asking for was just not going to happen!
I is hard to believe a company the size of Ring, would make it so difficult, and ask their customer to jump through hoops.
I own multiple spare batteries. I will just replace as needed.
I can say, in the future, I will probably spend my money elsewhere.
Expedited shipping is going to take 3 weeks
I ordered a ceiling mounting kit as they are not available on Oahu. I paid for the "expedited" shipping, and they are saying it will be at least 3 weeks to get the items. Yet, their website says "expedited" shipping is 1-3 days. Totally ridiculous and an utter failure for their shipping team.

Doubled the price for the same services. Bad camera, faulty alerts. They’re outdated at this point and losing loyal customers to DOUBKE the price for monitoring.
Bestelling niet ontvangen en geen terugbetaling
Bestelling niet ontvangen. Ring bevestigt dat goederen terug in NL magazijn zijn aangekomen, maar kunnen (willen!) geen terugbetaling doen. Vragen keer op keer dat ik aan mijn bank vraag om het bedrag terug te betalen, wat totaal absurd is.
Ring is useless
Ring is useless. No notifications even though there were 8 motion/person videos. All notification settings are enabled and my wifi and signal strength are very good. Support only replies with the same rhetoric, to check wifi, etc

Having ordered and paid for Ring products, they failed to arrive. Customer service say still "In transit" after 1 month - normal delivery time is 2-4 days.
They will not refund until they arrive. You can discuss with the BOT. Try requesting a refund on their site - sends you to a different page, won't recognise your order no/postcode. I know this company belongs to Amazon, but they won't last long under their current guise. They provide a terrible service, and are set up to frustrate you at every level. Don't be foolish and fall for their sales pitch - you'll really regret your purchase. It probably won't arrive, and you won't get a refund. Don't buy anything from them - source a reliable seller, if you're still unsure, just read all the reviews on this site. Happy Christmas.

Unzuverlässig. Funktionen werden beim Update geändert, sodas es nicht mehr so gut reagiert und mir nicht die Aufnahmen sichert, die ich vorher hatte und brauche, shame on you, oder? So viel Werbung für ein Produkt, was keiner mit 5 Sterne bewertet.
The flood light is always disconnecting…
The flood light is always disconnecting and the flood light feature is shotty at most when I set the motion detector for the lights to come on they don't. And when you click for help no help or remedy is offered just long long paragraphs about nothing. I've had my wifi provider come out and it's not the signal or a power issue. The date of experience is monthly if not weekly.
Terrible Customer Service
A little while ago I bought a Ring doorbell and have to say the device was fine, it did what it was supposed to. Eventually I changed my mobile phone number and as the old phone number is connected to my account I can no longer login - authentication codes are sent to the old phone number.
Ring advise contacting Customer Service however they do not answer phones so I cannot re-register the doorbell to a new number nor login to my account.
Ultimately this has turned out to be a waste of money due to terrible customer service.
Ongoing Technical Failures and Lack of Support
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with your company and the way ongoing technical and connection issues have been handled.
I have repeatedly contacted customer support regarding my Ring Outdoor Security Camera, which from the very beginning has failed to function as expected. The battery does not last even a week and continues to drain extremely quickly despite my long-standing active subscription. As a result, I am unable to properly use or benefit from the services I am paying for.
Although I raised this issue several times, no effective solution has been provided. Instead, I was offered a promotion for a Ring Chime device, which is not even available on your website. I fail to understand how a chime device could address a battery-related problem with a security camera. This response appeared irrelevant and dismissive of the actual issue.
In addition, my Ring Doorbell has unexpectedly stopped functioning correctly. The video feed no longer works at all—the image is completely black, with no access to live view or recorded footage. This failure occurred without explanation and has rendered the device unusable. Given the timing and lack of resolution, it gives the impression that customers are being pushed toward purchasing additional devices instead of receiving proper technical support for existing products.
Despite paying for a subscription, the system frequently fails to detect visitors who are clearly standing in front of the doorbell. This defeats the primary purpose of a security device and raises serious concerns about reliability and value for money.
I would like to ask plainly: what exactly am I paying for if the devices do not work correctly and the issues are not resolved?
I expect a proper investigation into these problems, a clear explanation, and a concrete solution—whether that be repair, replacement, or an appropriate refund or compensation. If this matter cannot be resolved satisfactorily, I will consider escalating my complaint further.

Placed an order over 10 days ago and only received part of the order. I have called twice now, been put on hold forever and no body can tell me where the rest of the order is. Don't order anything from them.

Einfachste Funktionen wie das Öffnen des Hauseingangs per Klingeln sind nicht möglich. Hätte mir die Installation sparen können.

I got the battery operated system. If you want video it’s extra. Everything is extra! Don’t buy this. It’s overpriced and not worth it. My bell chimes 8-12x a day for cars and people going by so therefore the battery is wastefully used. Do Not Buy!!!
Live view is incredibly unreliable when most needed
The ring doorbell camera always lets me down when there's somebody at the door, which is exactly what we use it for. I enter the live view, and if there is somebody at the door, it takes an inexcusable amount of time to load! Sometimes, it never loads. But when there is nobody at the door, it loads in 2 seconds! How helpful... I missed a delivery because I couldn't see who was at the door in time. Thanks.

Ich wollte ein 2. Abo am 18.11.25 für eine Video Kamera abschließen und hatte bereits ein Abo für eine Video Türschelle am 27.8.25 für ein Jahr abgeschlossen und im Voraus bezahlt per Einzugsermächtigung. Jetzt wurden mir beide Abos in Rechnung gestellt, keine Gutschrift erteilt und ich sollte für das 2. Abo statt 39,99 € 49,17 € bezahlen gemäß einer Bestätigungsmail in englischer Sprache. Gleichzeitighabe ich von Ring eine Mail in deutscher Sprache mit dem korrekten Betrag erhalten. Ich habe dann dieses Abo storniert und musste jetzt feststellen, dass auch mein Abo für die Türklingel storniert ist. Eine Klärung per Chat war mit 3 verschiedenen Mitarbeitern nicht möglich. Eine Email Adresse, an die ich mich wenden kann gibt es nicht. Nochmal würde ich Ring mit Sicherheit nicht nehmen.
