Ring doorbell 2…BAD!!!
I have a doorbell ring 2…I really dislike it…app is horrible…I’ve done the best to my knowledge to get camera to catch a person approaching my door…but it only works right every once in a while…I wanted to install cameras but it will not be ring cameras! It’s a bad choice all together!

Worst service ever
Worst service ever. Customer service does not help. I ordered a ring doorbell 3 plus a battery. I received the battery in 3 days but didn’t receive the ring doorbell. Every time I call they say we are passing it along to shipping but nothing ever happens. Customer service is in the Philippines. I’m not sure where shipping is located but they told me I can’t contact them. It’s only for internal use. I don’t recommend ordering anything from Ring.

Ik heb een druk leven en een drukke…
Ik heb een druk leven en een drukke zaak. Door allerlei installatie problemen de Ring niet afdoende werkend gekregen binnen de 30 dagen proefperiode. 3 x gebeld met support in NL, 3 x met support in USA. 2 x opnieuw geïnstalleerd, 2 x modem andere band gekozen. Kortom het werkt nog steeds niet. En nu zijn de 30 dagen proefperiode voorbij. Jammer joh! Dan kan je 'm niet meer terugsturen. Schandalig!

Door Ring Bell Battery stop charging, I call Ring Service back in July, it is September now 2021 I still got no battery replacement. I was told by Customer Service that it was Shipping Dept problem now. Poor customer service.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. Hate Ring now. Overtime will replace for wasting hours of my time to get absolutely no where to replace a defective walkway light.

Absolute worst customer service
Absolute worst customer service. I received half of my order. Half of what I received were not the more expensive items I ordered. After an hour over the phone explaining the four incorrect items and missing items no less than 5 times to a foreign representative who does not listen or understand clearly enunciated English the only answer I was given was that the cheaper items I received will work the same and the other half of my items will ship 7-9 weeks from now although I’ve already paid for them. They shipped from Amazon although I ordered from ring and Amazon shows that I can have them tomorrow if ordered today. What a fine hustle they are running. Cheap items or no items if you pay in advance.

Worst investment ever made you have to…
Worst investment ever made you have to up grade you system all the time weather your happy with it or not and if your not techy or not they shut you down if you don’t so you may have to pay someone every time you upgrade your system even if it working great just wish they would leave you alone. You can call in but usually have about a hour wait then you get to talk to someone you can’t understand. I gave a one star because it wouldn’t let me give it a zero star

Worst customer service Ever
Worst customer service Ever! I was on the phone for 2 hours simply trying to troubleshoot why my ring doorbell wasn't working. I talked to 4 different people. The first guy was rude and not helpful at all. Only to find out that my device needed upgrading. After I got off of the call I disabled and discontinued my service.

Do not use ring
Do not use ring. If I could rate them less than zero I will. Absolutely terrible customer service. Waiting for two plus months to get a replacement doorbell 3. My device was stolen and I followed Ring’s replacement process. Also provided them with a police report. When you contact customer service they email the account management team which handles replacements. I got promised a replacement device several times but never received any callbacks email or information from ring except when I call them. I will never use their service again.

Bad product, very bad customer service, fraudulent charges…
I received a ring doorbell in February 2021. I started a $30 annual subscription March 1, 2021. The doorbell was defective and they sent a replacement after 45 minutes on the phone. For some reason they charged me for another $30 annual subscription. I called back and spent another 45 minutes on the phone and got them to refund it. That doorbell too became defective. Guess what? They just charged another $30 annual subscription fee. I called yet again, spending another 45 minutes on the phone, and they said it would be refunded in 7 to 10 business days. One month later I checked my credit card statement and it had not been refunded. I called Ring once more and this time they said that it was not a charge it was a “transference“, and that my credit card was not charged. I then called the credit card company and they confirmed that ring had in fact charged my card yet again and had not refunded it. I don’t know what is wrong at Ring but something is broken there.

Ordered ring on Aug 29,which should…
Ordered ring on Aug 29,which should have shipped 24-48hrs after ordered. The order was supposed to be received within 1-3 bus days. We're going on 2 weeks still no ring. Every time I call they say they gone escalate. No one can provide a status or information. At this point I'll just cancel. Tried canceling now they are giving me the run around on canceling. Absolutely horrible customer service.

This is the email I received from ring when I called customer service today due to delays in receiving notifications. In 6 seconds someone can be in your home. I asked if this info is in any of rings marketing material and was advised it is not. I have called ring in the past about this, so this time when again they tried to blame my internet speed I was ready, I had already checked it, had purchased the ring WiFi extender, have fiber optic internet, had already done everything they had previously advised to resolve their problems. Posting so customers can make informed decisions about their security systems. Hi Mary, Notifications received less than 6 seconds are normal for the Ring Devices, however it will still depend on how fast your connection is. You can also try to download the Rapid Ring App to test the notification if it's quicker. Thank you for contacting Ring!

Piece of junk. Don’t waste your money. Door chime rings 5” after you come in. Charge $3 a month so animals won’t set it off. Doesn’t work. Customer Service horrendous. 30” minute hold minimum when you call. Supervisor Sandee ought to be fired.

Would of have chosen no stars but had…
Would of have chosen no stars but had to at least pick one. On phone for two hours circular phone conversation. Provided everything they asked for. Still they refused to provide the help they said they would. Went back on their word and cannot be trusted. Care nothing for their customers or the products they are using. Their care resides only in making money. I highly recommend anyone considering a Ring to strongly reconsider and use a more trustworthy, caring company who put their customers first. Do Not Waste Your Time or Money!

After spending more than an hour on the phone with two different departments my issue is still unresolved. Terrible customer service… Wouldn’t take responsibility for their software or their hardware issue.

Customer service? What customer service? The most incompetent Customer service center !
Oh, where do I start... I thought Ring was an amazing company with amazing products until today. I was very excited purchasing a 14 piece Alarm system. The website and check out made it clear that the item would be delivered in 3 to 5 days. No mention AT all that the items were on back order the day I made the purchase. Day 3 arrived and the box of goodies came. Well... That's where the problems began. I looked at the tracking site and it stated all my items were delivered. Um, No. I only received the extra accessories. Minus the 14 piece Alarm system. Yikes. I thought I'd give them a few more days. Day 6 was a no show. So, OK I'll call them and it should be not a problem. THAT'S where the Customer Service nightmare from Hell began. Granted, I have worked in marketing and sales and in a call center where the customer was King. OMG. Ring Customer service is the worst of the worst. Worse than .... Worse than .... just fill in the blank. I really really thought I was a reasonable guy asking very simple questions such as when should I receive my Alarm system? When they give me a response I reiterate what they stated. Then, they cannot agree. Nor give a simple straight answer such as you stated I should receive a full refund in 7 to 10 business days. They will then state" I never stated that in the chat." They tell me that the item has not been sent because it's on back order for 6 to 12 weeks! I stated politely well simply cancel the order. They suddenly state well the product is being shipped tomorrow. Then I reiterate what they stated. They then say I never said that. It's on back order. I state I need to escalate this call to speak to someone that can help me. They say they will help with that by calling Logistics. OK. I'm now on hold for 45 minutes. They get back to me saying we will attempt to cancel the order after their investigation which will take 3 to 5 business days. Logistics will review the escalation and tell me in an email if the escalation is approved and whether they can refund me for what I paid for that is on back order. Each time I called back I would get a different story through the chat. The advantage I had is I was saving the chats on my end with the date stamps. My last call upset them terribly by me reiterating what they said to me by pasting in the chat what was said word for word from each rep with date stamps. My last call got me to escalate the call by talking to a manager whom was very upset and shaken up as I kept throwing out verbatim word for word of each reps false promises. At first the manager stated our reps are well trained and deliver on what they say. The manager stated Unfortunately, the last rep was uninformed. That's where I blasted all the reps I spoke with each time giving false promises. I told the manager I expect much better from them specifically, especially from a company such as Ring. After one hour with the manager they caved and promised up and down that my order will be canceled and I will be getting a full refund. I'm VERY hesitant. I'll believe it ONLY by their actions. At this point. ... I'm not going to purchase an alarm system. NO matter if the system is good. Customer service from HELL. Absolutely a nightmare. I so far wasted six hours of my time with them. Ugh!

If I could give this a negative star I would. Biggest waste of money I have ever spent. Won't let me generate a code even though I have signed into every device I've ever used. This is a rip off.POS.

Do not recommend
The system is very poor. Streaming quality of videos is horrible - can never tell what anyone is saying and constantly delayed making video shaky. Alarm has been triggered a few times and no monitoring call even though we are paying for professional monitoring. Door and window sensors regularly are offline. Do not recommend this system at all. Customer service is also poor.

Ring Protect Plan is a joke
Ring Protect Plan is a joke. Burglar heavily damaged alarm system, 1 month later still waiting for promised replacement from Ring. Speaking to CS is a nightmare of incompetence and language problems. Avoid this poorly run company at all costs.

Ring is a rip off
Horrible and slow connecting. Biggest complaint is bought and paid for cameras and door bell and pay for internet to record video. Recorded video with my camera so i feel i own the rights to videos why should i pay ring to view said videos. Complete rip off! I have been viewing videos from doorbell for 2 years and when i bought a stick up cam now no video saved scam!

If you should have any issues with Ring…
If you should have any issues with Ring (which you will) you will need to call customer service, and you have my sympathy. There system is extemly buggy. I needed to reset my password, I requested a reset. Reset email was sent and reset was completed. Tried to log in via my phone and was told I needed a verification code that was sent to my email. The email they sent said I needed to log in on my phone.. well yes, that would be lovely, but you won't let me log in on my phone because I need a verification code. (infinite loop). So I call customer service. She requests all of my id information and my email and says she is sending me a verification code. Great, I get my code to log in!! No. The code is for her to verify it is me. She requests that I tell her the code, which I do. Now she wants a copy of my utility bill to prove it is me. At this point I ask for a supervisor, she argues a little with me, puts me on hold. Comes back saying none are available, but someone will call me. They do not call. I am done. I am replacing my Ring with a good old fashioned doorbell.

Don’t waste your money. Biggest piece of crap I ever saw. It works when it wants to. Which is seldom. Get a dog if you need security.
