Ring is terrible don’t waste your money…
Ring is terrible don’t waste your money on it, go with a different company. My cameras will be set off by cars driving by but won’t get set off when packages are delivered. I just got a notification that there is motion at my front door and it will not pull up the live view or show me what set off the camera. Hope no one is breaking in because I can’t see, and I have full service so it is not my phone that is the issue.

Ring is the most non-dependable system I have ever used. It sends false alarms if any at all. Do yourself a favor. Go with a LOCAL alarm company that has a good customer service dept. I would not advise anyone to risk your security to RING !!!

i have been a client for 15 years but…
i have been a client for 15 years but no more of this junk in my house that they do not stand behind. my second time i had to throw away they door bel. this time i replaced it with Eufy and could not be happier without paying every month. GOOD BYE>>>>>> They don't care anymore. I wish i could give less than one star.

I have bought several Ring products
I have bought several Ring products. I needed to update my email but was not able to online as the verification is sent to the old email address. I have called several times, and each time I get put on hold for several minutes at a time. None of the operators speak fluent English, there is no supervisor available, and they cannot look up your account without your MAC address. After providing the MAC address, they still can't verify you by your name or address! Why bother having a security system if you can't access the cameras??

Stone age level return process
I have bought several Ring products but decided to return them since it does not fit my requirement. I was expecting a return process like other online purchases, but at Rings it was like going back to 30 years ago. I have to make a call to the customer center, tried my best to understand their accent, providing the MAC address of each device I would like to return (yeah, a long series of characters and numbers, on the phone. I thought we have something called barcode scanner these days?). And the staff slowly input all the information to the system, slowly generated the return label. In the end, it took me 40 mins to report my return. And I was told that the return label will be generated within 3 business days....... Anyway. After reading all the horrible comments, if you are still brave enough to try Ring's product, don't buy it from their web shop (except you miss the time without internet...).

NIGHTMARE of company to deal with. TERRIBLE customer service. These people couldn't run a hot dog stand, let alone a tech company. Fix was so SIMPLE and they could not accomplish. Take your business else where.

IT never works, Never gets wifi signal. Has a mind of it's own. I just can't believe this product depenability is horrorible. Shame on you ring!!!!

Communicatie is een woord dat ze niet kennen!
Wat een slecht bedrijf op gebied van klantenservice. Ik bestel camera’s, begrijp niet hoe de bevestigingsbeugel werkt en de klantenservice adviseert om zogenaamde Mounts te kopen. Als de bestelling al geplaatst is, ontdek ik dat ik die helemaal niet nodig heb (dankjewel klantenservice!). Dus ik bel om ze retour te sturen. Wordt me verteld dat ik ze niet retour hoef te sturen, maar wel mijn geld terug krijg. 2 Weken later zelf maar weer bellen waar mijn geld blijft. "Foutje bedankt!" krijg ik te horen. Ik had ze wel terug moeten sturen. Maar omdat het hun fout is hoeft dit toch niet en krijg ik mijn geld terug. Weer 2 weken later heb ik nog geen geld terug en stuur ik een boze email. De enige reactie daarop: bijgaand een retourlabel, stuur maar terug... Dat ga ik zometeen dan maar doen en dan hopen dat ik eindelijk na ruim een maand mijn geld terug ga krijgen! Mijn advies: koop hier niks!

Bereikbaarheid Ring helpdesk is DRAMATISCH
Als de Ring deurbel werkt dan werkt het prima. Als het niet werkt en je bent afhankelijk van de telefonische hulplijn dan is het WAARDELOOS! Je hangt meer dan 20 min in de wacht en wordt vervolgens door een Duitse stem geïnformeerd dat ze gaan sluiten en vervolgens wordt de verbinding verbroken. Zit inmiddels al 4 dagen zonder voordeurbel 😡😡😡😡😡

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE missing equipment
Ring products are needed. However the customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE! I have nothing against people working in other countries but you will not get anyone from the USA to speak with that you can understand. I still have 600.00 of missing equipment - when you call you have to go through much BS in order to get an answer. I am still waiting on an email from Ring - my case has been "bumped up" according to a representative that I could hardly understand. If you are looking to buy a security camera - go to a company that has Reps from the USA that you can speak with and resolve issues. I do not recommend Ring they have the "worst customer" service that I have ever had to deal with. After a month my 600.00 of equipment is still floating around - with no resolve from RING. Pathetic!

Blurs out reg plate
I had a break in and ring.com blurred out the reg plate of the burglar’s car. I was informed by ring.com that this is due to gdpr😂

I'd give zero stars if i could.
I'd give zero stars if i could.. I ordered cameras and door bell from Ring and ultimately decided to return them. After 3 weeks of requesting a return label, I finally received on in my email. I sent the products back and still, 4 weeks later, I have not received my refund of several hundred dollars. They don't seem to have any answers and just keep pushing me off and telling me to contact my bank. My bank has no record of any refunds and Ring customer service can't or WONT tell me anything. So now I don't have the cameras or my money back. I am absolutely appalled at this return process. If you order Ring cameras, be 100% sure you won't need or want to return them, because if you do, you'll be waiting in indefinite amount of time for your money back.

Ring is garbage
Ring is garbage! I bought it a couple years ago and had trouble connecting it and then having it stay on line. When I moved I chose not to install at my house until today. I have spent 2.5 hours trying to get it to connect only to be told the device is bad and needs to be replaced. Looking at all the reviews now I can see this product is garbage and NO ONE SHOULD PURCHASE A RING DOOR BELL!

I used to love Ring
I used to love Ring, had some issues, but customer service was pretty darn good, NOW offshore and can do no more than read off a card. Why do I need to drag a 3 story ladder out for a third time for the same issue and respond to an email that my light strobes at night? Replace the light it’s under warranty.

There is no way to update wifi
There is no way to update wifi. The app help section sends to a section that does not have any options for updating it. We changed router and it turned into a brick. We’ve wasted hours trying to get it to change, all without success. It’s a piece of crap.

My ring detected a gecko at 3:00 am And when it’s in people only mode it detects them but I’m not able to view it at that time it takes a couple of minutes before I can view who it detects What good is that Would not recommend to anyone

I do not recommend Ring! Customer service is horrible. If you want spend hours on the phone with no resolution. My flood light camera having issue and instead of replacement because I have protection plus plan and I missing payment for a week due to credit card fraud and I have to update with new card and they said that forfeited my insurance that they only can offer discount on the new device. I am done with Ring after many years being their customer.

Produkt Super aber schlechter Support!
Die ring alarmanlage finde ich klasse. Einrichtung, Kopplung aller Sensoren, funktioniert einwandfrei (2. Generation). Der Support isz jedoch eine Katastrophe. Keinerlei E-Mail Support, nur Telefon. Es gibt eine deutsche Nummer. Ich selbst musste aber erst mit englischen Agenten reden um jemanden zu bekommen, der etwas gebrochenes deutsch konnte. Letztendlich wurde mein Problem verstanden (Meine Lieferung enthielt 2 Kontaktsensoren zu wenig) und ich bekam sie nachgeliefert. Leider bekam ich die alten aus erster Generation und mir blüht nun ein weiter Anruf 😤 Der support trübte den sonst doch sehr guten Eindruck der Produkte leider erheblich. Wenigstens ein Email support wäre das mindeste.

Still haven't received my order
Have been waiting almost a month for my order, every time I contact customer support they "escalate" the issue to higher up but yet still no shipping information and i am unable to get a refund. Will not be ordering from them again.

WE HAVE SPENT OVER $2,000.00 WITH RING AND FROM THE START WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH ONE OF THE BATTERY. i CALLED SUPPORT AND WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NOT ANY WARRANTY ON BATTERY EVEN THOUGH WE JUST BOUGHT ALL THE EQUIPMENT. I OFFERED TO RETURN EVERYTHING AND ASKED FOR A SUPERVISOR AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THEY AGREED TO SUPPLY A NEW BATTERY. BAD VERY BAD SERVICE SAVE YOURSELF FROM BUYING ANY RING PRODUCTS

Ein Stern ist noch zuviel. Ring ist wirklich Schrott!! Hatte mir eine Ring Indoor Cam gekauft. War mit der Qualität und der App aber nicht zufrieden und habe sie erstmal in die Schublade gelegt. Nach einem Jahr wollte ich sie dann wieder nutzen, meine Emailadresse mit der ich die Anmeldung durchgeführt hatte, gab es aber nicht mehr. D.h. diese Cam ist für mich nicht mehr zu nutzen und ich muss sie wegschmeißen. Ein Reset ist nicht möglich, der Kundendienst konnte mir nicht weiterhelfen.....Beispiel gefällig: "Leider haben wir die 7 Minuten Marke erreicht. Deshalb werden wir dieses Chat-Fenster schließen, um anderen Ring Kunden weiterhelfen." Der Grund weshalb man innerhalb von 7 Minuten nicht fertig werden konnte, war, dass man mich 2 Mal jeweils 3 Minuten hat warten lassen, weil man den Chef was fragen muss. Bevor man für Ring Geld ausgibt, bitte an Bedürftige spenden.

My ring doorbell Decided to stop taking a charge about 6 months after we got it, I called 2 times in order to try and resolve the issue. Finally called back a 3rd time since it still wasn't working to just get a replacement and was told I was one month over my warranty and they offered me a 35% off discount towards a new device! I had already paid for a year subscription in advance and literally only used it for 6 months, the customer service representative and Tech Support Could not have cared less about the fact that now I have to pay even more money out of pocket for a new device. Even though they sent a defective device, they absolutely could have replaced it knowing it was thier fault but they chose not to. Horrible customer service

2-step verification needs to go away
2-step verification needs to go away. The 2-step verification is the most idiotic thing ever invented. You should be able to turn it OFF. But NO ring want you to never view the cameras because of their so called security. I would think you would want people to have access to the cameras to make sure no one is messing around you home. FU Ring.

RIPPED-OFF
Five days trying to get help with Ring Doorbell, and the problem still exist. I have two ring door bells, one still under warranty, which I bought a couple months ago. I am not receiving notification alerts on either one. I asked for a replacement, which they refused to honor. Terrible customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this company !!!!!
