het geld niet waard.
Dre app is zo traag dat tegen de tijd je die opgestart hebt de bezorger al lang vertrokken is. Sinds de laatste update geeft de Chime ook geen bewegingsalaram meer. Kon eerst gekoppeld worden aan de Homey. Dat kan nu ook niet meer. Kortom absoluut het geld niet waard.

The worst customer service ever
The worst customer service ever! I purchased 2 Ring doorbells and was told to purchase a battery pack as well. The battery pack does not work with the doorbells I purchased. Tried to return it, but because it was 32 days past delivery, they refused to accept the return or refund the purchase price. Tried to explain that the units are on a home that is on the other side of the country and I needed to arrange for someone to return the battery pack. Put on never ending hold with no resolution. I know the Ring devices are highly rated, but their customer service is terrible. Do your own research on which parts to buy before purchasing!

Ring doorbell sucks
Bought a ring 2 doorbell 2019 and by end of 2020 my battery started draining rather quickly. Purchased a new battery only to find out that the device is defective after less than 2 yrs of purchasing. Customer service refused to replace it (product was out of warranty window 12/2020) and advised I purchase a new device. The merchandise is cheap, they do not value their customers and service recovery sucks. Still waiting on a call from the supervisor to rectify my situation. Save yourself the money and frustration- don’t purchase. Go with another company.

BUY EUFFY BETTER PRODUCT NO SUBSCRIPTION & THEY CARE!…
Wanted to buy four additional cameras and mounts direct from ring, had a simple query that couldn’t be answered by their automated answering system so I tried to call. It is more than obvious that they don’t want you to call as all of my calls just ring out! Same old same old, we’ve got your money now clear off! Appalling do not buy, go for the Euffy better product and no subscription!

Paid for 3 cameras got 1: Ring offered no resolution
Ordered 3 cameras got 1. Complained to Ring they told me to check with shipping provider. Uh, not only is that not my job I have no idea how to reach shipping company. So I kept complaining. They offered no help. Said they'd escalated to their shipping department. Week later. No response. So I filed a dispute with my CC and Paypal. Thankfully, they realized RING was absolutely wrong and refunded my money. Complete joke of a company. Customer service is the absolute worst. I will never buy from Ring again.

Zeer onstabiel tijdens installatie en soms ook in gebruik. Al toe aan de 3de nieuwe ring pro met stroomadapter voor mijn ouders binnen 4 maanden. Grootste euvel tijdens mijn installaties is dat de Ring het uitgezonden eigen wifinetwerkje niet uitzendt. Na tig keren lukt het een keer. Dit betekent dat bij een wifi storing in huis een automatisch herstel haast onmogelijk of zeer onwaarschijnlijk is volgens mij. En dan mag/moet ik weer opdraven. Ik had gehoopt met de Ring een stabiel en zorgeloos product te hebben geïnstalleerd. Als het werkt, dan werkt het wat mij betreft prima. Beeld is goed, zowel overdag als 's avonds. Ook de Ring-helpdesk vind ik goed functioneren. Ze maken geen problemen en sturen meteen een vervangend exemplaar. Maar feit blijft dat de installatie veel hoop nodig heeft. De derde deurbel ging trouwens vlekkeloos: stroom erop, meteen wifi en verbinding. Nu hopen dat dit zo blijft. Als je weinig geduld hebt vind ik het nog geen aanrader omwille van de instabiele wifi-koppelingen. De Ring hangt zowat op de router (1,5 meter), met een 35-er signaal en dat is meer dan ruim voldoende. Daar ligt het zeker niet aan... Mocht dit euvel verholpen worden, dan is het een aanrader, voor nu heeft het mij deze week 8 uren gekost verdeeld over drie dagen om mijn ouders op leeftijd uit de zorgen te helpen hiermee. En dat kan niet de bedoeling zijn van dit toch wel prijzig product.

Horrible Customer Service
If I could rate zero I would. Have a lot of their product but doorbell went only black & white. Did their reset on the device per the tech and then was put on hold for a brief minute in 10 minute stretches for an hour. Finally promised to call back, which the same tech did about 2 hours later, just to ask if I could hold for one to two minutes for another 27 minutes. Their customer service is the worst and if I could rip out all the floodlight cams we have I would. Now will be forced to do something dishonest I did not want to do. I’ll go buy a new one, install it, then return the defective one. Lowes will send to Ring and in a few months they will deal with it. I have the protection plan and this should have been completed in 15 minutes. If you have not bought yet, don’t look to Ring. You will be disappointed.

Bad Investment
When I bought this product, it had features that I liked. Ring has made changes and those features are no longer available. I would not make a investment in this product again as the changes they make are not making it better.

Button will break, Update they did replace it
Button will break, customer service rep said its the elements outside that cause it to break. Its a doorbell, wouldnt work inside. Amazon will not replace it, they want year after year doorbell customers. Trash response from supervisor Patrick but at least he was honest, they just dont care and expect their customers to buy a new one. UPDATE: Ring did replace the door bell!

Diminished Performance
Bought a couple of stick up cameras less than a year ago. They worked very well when we bought them. For some reason the amount of motion they picked up decreased dramatically several months ago (this happened to both cameras at the same time). After months of trying to figure it out, we realized that an update they did to their app decreases the amount of area that motion is picked up in. In other words, motion is only picked up in about 80% of the area the camera sees. Because of the area where we use the cameras, the decreased performance makes them nearly useless for our needs. They made this change on purpose. Customer service says there is nothing they can do. Now I have to buy new cameras from a different company. I WILL NEVER TRUST RING AGAIN.

This Ring did not work
This Ring did not work and we returned it 4 years ago. We had arranged for an annual subscription and cancelled the subscription. We have been charged a fee every year since and have to submit a dispute through our credit card company. Their product works poorly and their customer service is pitiful.

DO NOT BUY VIDEO DOORBELL AS THEY WORK USELELY !!!
Bought a Ring Video Doorbell 2 on 20/8 2019 And a Ring Chime PRO on 21/8 2019 The Video Doorbell 2 itself has worked poorly from the beginning. Poor contact with the wifi router all the time and therefore I bought a Chime Pro that also served as a range extender for Video Doorbell. But it also has just as bad contact with the house's wifi, although I have Netgear Orbi with 1 main unit and 2 satellites and all other wifi equipped devices work ok. When someone is outside the house, Video Doorbell 2 alerts 2-3 minutes after the incident and the person has already disappeared. Video Doorbell 2 sucks out the battery very quickly and must be constantly charged. Chime Pro loses contact all the time and 1 month ago it stopped working completely. It can no longer be connected to Video Doorbell 2 or anything at all. No light is on and the reset button does not work. The Chime Pro is death. It can be added that I have a cheap camera from TP-Link that is placed in the exact same place as Video Doorbell 2 and the TP-link camera warns of movement directly within 2-3 seconds while Video Doorbell 2 warns after 2-3 minutes and sometimes not at all. DO NOT BUY VIDEO DOORBELL AS THEY WORK USELELY !!!

I honestly don't understand how Ring can be an branch of Amazon. Ring customer service falls well below the for infamous telecommunication customer services. Order hundred of dollars on Ring alarm system and there was two missing door sensors totaling only $40 so why has it been 2.5 weeks, multiple calls, multiple redirects and multiple promises have come up empty. To sum it up, they don't care about helping you. I'm still missing my sensors to complete my security system design but I'm dreading another call even if it's just for principal. My recommendation is to buy your Ring products through Amazon or local stores like Costco. Don't go through Ring.com. Avoid at all cost

Returned product 30 days ago still waiting on refund
Returned product 30 days ago. Had to call 3x to get someone able to assist with generating a return label even though I was told I should be able to do this myself when I ordered. After returning the product within 48 hours of receiving the return label, it's since been 30 days since UPS confirmed delivery. I've called customer support 3x and hours on the phone to try to get the refund. Each time a new ticket is filed and "escalated" without resolution. This company is a scam. If they can't process returns, do you trust them to keep your home and family safe?? I don't.

Absolute worst customer service
Absolute worst customer service. Ordered 3 cameras. Got 1. The other two are just sitting in a post office somewhere and Ring does absolutely nothing to help track it down. Told me to contact the shipper. That is not my job. I order products from you, I pay you. If I don't get them then you need to figure it out not me. I'm returning everything (assuming I ever get it) and moving to another company.

Alarm oder Nicht - sehr unzufrieden
War eigentlich soweit zufrieden. Seitdem die Lautstärke nicht mehr separat eingestellt werden kann, ärgere ich mich nur noch. Wahl zwischen Telefonklingeln ausstellen oder bei jeder einzelnen Kamera ständig zwischen Alarm oder Silent hin und her zu "spielen" - wahrlich anderes zu tun - oder aber sich bei jeden Alarm anplärren zu lassen. Sollte das nicht zeitnah geändert werden, sehe ich mich nach etwas anderem um.

Ring Doorbell 3: een afrader.
Ring Doorbell 3 aangeschaft. Alhoewel het product er opzich goed uitziet, is de technische kwaliteit belabberd. 1ste Exemplaar niet te installeren; verbinding met mijn WiFi netwerk (mesh wifi netwerk, 5 ghz band) viel 5 min. na configuratie al weg. Settings weg geen verbinding meer met WiFi, weer opnieuw configureren, zelfde resultaat, enz, enz, enz. Dus onbruikbaar product. Omgeruild voor 2de exemplaar. Weer hetzelfde resultaat. Ik heb een uiterst stabiel wifi netwerk in huis, met vele probleemloos verbonden apparaten, maar deze deurbel voldoet helaas niet. Een afrader.

Worst customer experience i have had in…
Worst customer experience i have had in a long time. Moved into a new place that had ring doorbell. Called old owner and asked him to deregister device. They told them because of new security protocols they could not and the new owner of house would have to call and request de-escalation of device. I called and they told me they could not without original owner deregistering!! Spent 50 minutes on customer service rep call with no resolution other than them 1) trying to upsell me on a new doorbell, and 2) learning that a doorbell must be inactive for 60 days before they will transfer ownership. Before call was seriously considering buying ring security. No more!! What a TERRIBLE company!!!!

The Ring experience has gone progressively worse in the last few months.
I got my Ring doorbell last July and for a few months it was actually working very well. The iphone app would alert me to every delivery, the person-only mode would work really well, and the motion zones did what they were supposed to do. THEN, Ring started pushing out all of these app updates and the app has gotten worse and worse with each one. 1. I get motion detection for just about every car that passes by even though my motion zone doesn't come anywhere near the road. 2. I have missed many alerts for deliveries from USPS and Amazon. 3. The dashboard view used to refresh consistently within 5-10 seconds, now it refreshes "when it wants to" and many times it doesn't work at all. 4. With the latest update, Ring inserted a bunch of advertisement for their products... totally cluttered and awful. I have spent a lot of time with their worthless tech support (or should I say "wasted a lot of time") only to have them tell me to change my settings even after I tell them that it used to work great with my current settings. Instead of telling users that each app update includes improvements, they should tell you what else they've messed up. The entire app development team needs to be replaced with developers who know what they are doing. If you like bugs, then I recommend Ring (yes, sarcastic). All Ring needs to do is read the host of recent complaints on the Apple App Store and they'll see the multiple 1-star reviews. It's a shame because it used to be so good.
