Worst customer service EVER
Worst customer service EVER. I ordered a full system for my home including a video doorbell. They charged my credit card in full and sent me a tracking number to track my delivery.
After several phone calls over a two month period, no package arrived and after following up with FedEx, no package was ever sent. They simply created a packing slip so they could claim that the package was on the way, and then they charged me.
I couldn’t get a refund because they kept claiming that the package was in transit. After more than two months of giving me the run around, they finally admitted that no package had been sent and they gave me a refund - only after I exploded on customer service.
This company is a scam, DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM EVER. Customer service is absolute garbage. This is disgraceful from an Amazon company!!

I have been trying to access my Ring…
I have been trying to access my Ring account for over a year and customer service will only help if I detach the device from my house. My email extension changed in February of 2020 and the old extension is no longer able to be accessed and the emails are not forwarded. My Ring account is locked and won't allow me to access it with out verifying a code that is sent to my old email extension. I have the correct email and password but cannot complete the verification step. Customer service refuses to update my email extension without detaching the device from my house and providing the code on the back. They have billed me every month but refuse to grant me access to my account. I am unable to remove the device myself and would have to pay the same company to come uninstall and then reinstall the device just to get a code. I am currently trying to access the videos because items were stolen off of our porch and Ring customer support repeats the same script back to me over and over again. If they require the device to be detached the can send someone out to do it. If they are unwilling to pay for that expense they should have a more customer friendly way of updating account info. My password, name, address, phone number and billing info have all remained the same but they still refuse to update the account so I can access what I am paying for.

I purchased a spotlight camera to keep an eye on my vehicle. It works great but doesn't record so what good is it. I now learn if I want it to record I have to pay double to get the second camera to record. I wish I knew this before spending a lot on this spotlight camera. It is totally useless.
Battery is poor quality.
Bought a ring device a year ago. Battery just stopped charging. I called them and apparently there's only a year warranty on it. I missed the warranty by about a month when I called. Told me they couldn't do anything about the battery and said they would send me a 33% coupon that could only be used towards a new device, not even for a battery. I Googled Ring and under their information it actually says the batteries last 6 to 12 months. If I had seen that I would have never bought the device.

De grootste miskoop ooit. Of de bel doet het niet, of hij ñeemt niet op, of de chime doet het niet. Kan nog wel even door gaan. Overal moet je voor betalen maar de helft van de tijd werkt het niet. Vrag n aan ring worden niet beantwoord. Voor iemand die overweegt om de ring te kopen: doe het niet, weggegooid geld.
Poor Customer Service
While I had my Ring, it worked ok. Before I moved, its recordings were getting inconsistent. I moved and I forgot to cancel the annual charge. 4 months after moving the charge came through. I immeadiately called RING because I was unable to log in since I didnt have the device (I moved). The rep stated, she didnt see any device on my account, I hadnt log in in a log time. She cancelled my account but since I had it for 2 days she couldnt refund the full, annual charge. She charged me 2.50 for 2 days of "service" that she already told me she knew I couldnt of used. Moreso, $30 annually equated to $1.25 a day. Ridiculous business practices!
Helaas enorme miskoop, rommel
Helaas enorme miskoop. Heeft 1,5 jaar redelijk gefunctioneerd en doet nu niets meer als je de bel indrukt. Kan hem wel nog resetten en hij laad wel op (laat ook zien dat hij helemaal vol is) maar functioneert verder niet meer.
Voor dat geld verwacht je wel meer kwaliteit, slecht product, niet aan te raden om te kopen.

They lose a package, just sitting in “wrong facility” for over a week and I have to bring it to their attention? Then they say I am supposed to track it down with Amazon!?!? Just ship me a new one and YOU go find the package you lost. A shame I have to even give them one star.
Why don't Ring cameras switch to live…
Why don't Ring cameras switch to live automatically when motion is detected? It takes too long to get from delayed view to live. It seems like it would be very easy to program them to automatically switch to live view the instant motion is detected.

Returned with No Refund
I returned my ring system prior to even using it, because I found alternatives in this market that make more sense for what I am using it for. I am not in need of a full security system, just the cameras, so I went a cheaper route. Anyways, I returned my system on 2/8/2021. It was delivered to their return facility on 2/11/2021. It's 11 days later and I still have not received my refund. I've contacted their support team twice. Both let me know I was being "escalated to priority" but still haven't received my return. Not happy about it.

Tired of this crap not working when it needs to. Notify me of motion but when I check it on the app it says offline. My wireless router is literally about 25 feet from the flood light. Do NOT waste your money on this junk.

Don’t buy Ring products!! They don’t work.
Have been on the phone with Ring customer service reps for a total of about eight hours...8 separate calls, all last at or longer than an hour. They’ve not been able to figure out why my device is picking up motion outside of the motion zone settings, and even sent me a replacement. And every time I talk to her in customer service rep, they go through the same troubleshooting steps and then try to have some magical answer to why the settings are wrong, when in fact it’s a crappy product that doesn’t function as advertised. No customer service rep knows what they’re talking about and act like they know more than you after you’ve been on the phone with other reps for hours. I finally spoke with a manager who is willing to send me a different ring doorbell to see if it’ll work better. But overall, I will never ever recommend this product to anyone. They hype it up as a great product, when it’s defunct and essentially only works in rural areas with little outside movement. They also need to properly train their reps. The customer experience is deplorable. I give them a 0 out of 10. I’ve never been so frustrated or had such a lack of trust of a product and it’s people that represent it.

Horrible customer service. Had to call multiple times in regards to my order, couldn’t give me any information but to go look at my ring account or wait for the email response.
Do not believe their return policy
Bought a solar charger for Doorbell 3 plus. Didn't work due to location of doorbell. I rang Ring to get a prepaid postage so I can return it. I received one but I have to pay postage. Ring asked me to return the product from Australia to US which is pretty expensive. It said on their website that:
You have 30 days from the date you received your device(s) to request a full refund with no questions asked.
To return your item, please contact Ring community support to request a return label. This lets you return the device(s) to us free of charge, as long as the return originates from either Australia or New Zealand.
I rang the second time and was told it was a prepaid label they gave me so hubby went to Australia post but the barcode was useless and it wasn't a prepaid label. Rang them back again only to be told I had to pay postage. What a load of crap.

24-12 ring retour gestuurd met retourlabel. Ontvangstbewijs gekregen, maar na 7 telefoontjes en mailverkeer tot op heden (17-02) nog steeds ons geld niet terug. Beloven vanalles, maar doen helemaal niks!!!

Just got off my phone ring app, working, and then tried to login with my laptop to download a video segment. it came up with "Your password was found to have been published online and is unsafe." and will not let me login. On the phone with them now

Not happy with this product they don't tell you you have to pay for it to work right kept shutting it off without a credit card had I known would not have got had the arlo system before it was better plus they don't charge
Ring support not worthy
Called Ring support for a problem with new pop up message when I check my videos history, "Oops something went wrong, ShareServiceException" this happens a bunch, when I try to look at my videos they just disappear! So now I can't see who showed up on my property. Ring support told me to give them my phone# and they would call me back after I reinstalled the app and restart my phone which they did, then shortly after they hung up and never called back.
So now the emails start, they said I would have to call them back because they were an outbound call center and they could not call me back? Say what? I email back saying you just called! 13 emails later is all they send me now is their genetic response, It was great talking with you message..
Problem never fixed. This company has the worst tech support I've ever had to work with. I waste more time trying to fix these garbage cameras I have. I have tons of people ask if Ring cameras are any good, I just tell them to not waste your money!

Avoid!!!!.. total waste of money.. works for a couple of months and then the trouble starts .. 3 different products installed at the start.. one by one they have all failed over the past few months... customers Service is a complete joke they will have you jumping through hoops for months .. just repeating the same script over and over...technically they haven't a clue regarding the issues and dont honour the guarantee on their products.. one of the most useless companies I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
Not Worth The Money That Uou Get.
Well, I, got to be professional about, anything about everything. For starters, MONEY makes this world go round and AROUND. Companies WANT, something (money), for BS. Just can't get proper playback on my cameras, THEN, it's not accurate as, I believe that it should be. BUT, Ring has, NO PROBLEM, taking, MONEY, out of my account. Your business, IS, LOUSY. Make it BETTER or I shall CANCEL.
Bad customer service
Bad customer service. Lied to me many times. I still did not recieve my refund, it’s been two weeks since they had recieved the returned product. Tevin from logistics lied to me too telling me. He process the refund and i should be able to get it 3 to 5 business days or less. Email him back asking the refund. He never replie to my email. Ring Compang is crappy. Never ever do business with Ring. pls. DO NOT BUY RING products.
