A complete waste of money
I have the floodlight camera for over a year. It continues to activate when a cat passes by. Though the settings are set to ignore animals. The privacy mode is on, yet when my neighbours use their car, the light turns on. The rain and wind also triggers the light to turn on. I end up thinking the invisible man is outside !! No peace of mind at all. Certainly buy this floodlight camera if you live on an open space with no one around and no animals and you experience perfect still weather and no rain. It will work perfectly for you. I tried to contact support and each time the call gets dropped when in their phone system. Tried phoning from a landline, it does not even connect through that mode. I want to speak to someone that actually knows something about this system and not their community or website redirection services. If they blame the increase of calls is due to Covid-19 restrictions, don't believe them. Connecting to Ring support has long been a problem before Covid-19

I have had it for a year
I have had it for a year. Worked for 2 months than suddenly stopped. Talked to tech a couple of times and they were no help. Had to replace the transformer supplying power to it. A week ago the hardwired charger stopped supplying a charge to my doorbell. Two calls to tech support and agin no resolution. I finally canceled my subscription which the agent was more than happy to do to get rid of me. Product problems, and then no support.

Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. I have tried to contact customer service several times. Purchased 8 drive solar lamps and they are CRAP!!!!

Close to the WORST customer service I…
Close to the WORST customer service I have ever dealt with. Smug support reps that clearly don't know ANYTHING but what is on the screen to regurgitate to the customer. Clearly no desire to fix the problems but HAPPY to sell you more crap equipment to make it better. I am an architect and I would NEVER recommend a ring doorbell to a client. There better and more reliable systems and actually helpful customer service people and support.

Ring Support is wonderful BUT...
Ring Support is wonderful! What ruins it is NEIGHBORS. I have had and selected “LOST PETS” as one of my choices to see but when I go to post, I have to do a backflip with Neighbors Support to have it posted. Tired of the time involved to have someone who doesn’t live here determine what is posted. If only I’d post about a loud bang! The $10 per month ends & I have many RING products for sale. NEIGHBORS IS RINGS! UPDATE: RING HAS CONTACTED TRUSTPILOT as a result of this ,& I imagine the other negative reviews as well. NO MATTER WHAT, do not trust your home to RING. They will decide if your post is worthy of RING nowhere near your home, neighborhood or State for that matter. I signed-up or chose LOST PET as a category I would like to see on NEIGHBORS and for some strange reason, I get an email that my post didn’t make it whenever I post a video of someone’s pet & must fight a battle! I am done investing not only money, but time. I am serious when I say that all of my RING products are for sale. And there is a lot! I should have read the reviews first!

HORRIBLE Customer Service
Horrible customer service. I ordered the wrong item and immediately contacted support to cancel the order. Ring has a weird policy that an order cannot be canceled if 50 minutes have passed since the order has been placed. I was in a queue for 30+ minutes and the representative I finally connected with put me on hold until I could no longer cancel the order. I was forced to accept the package and send it back with a label. So I did. I then contacted customer service more than 3 times in the past month about the refund I was waiting on. Each time I was told something completely different and was refused the refund even though I was told at one point they had received the item and it has been processed. Feels like a huge scam.

🚫 if I could give this company no stars I would the first camera I bought didn't work they sent out a replacement it didn't work my other one has started to malfunction called customer service with no help at all!!!

Sturen geen factuur op!
12/08/2020 een jaar abonnement afgesloten en daar €100,00 euro voor betaald. Ik moet voor mijn boekhouding de factuur hebben maar die willen ze niet toesturen. Ik heb meerdere keren gebeld en via de chat contact gehad en elke keer zeggen ze dat ze het doorsturen naar de financiële afdeling en dat ze binnen 24 tot 72 uur contact met mij zullen opnemen. Dat doen ze alleen niet. Nu moet ik het abonnement opzeggen.

Worst company after sales
1. I canceled my order within 15 minutes of placing my order. But still ended up paying for returns and not being refunded. 2. I was supposed to receive a call from shipping department which I never got 3. Shipment missed apartment number even if the order has the complete address 4. Even after talking to executive leadership and issue was not resolved within a week. 5. I kept receiving messages for missing packages even after I told them to place a return to sender notice. 6. I have not being reimbursed for return packages even if it your system and support fault. 7. I sent an email to ring as per review response for the issues and I have not received any response.

Better companies out there!
This company appears to be getting worse and worse instead of improving. It is very frustrating for example, i hear a noise in the front yard and i go to my ring. Only to get a message saying cant connect that also applies when it sees motion on my driveway. I will slowly begin switching companies.

Auto debit payment ONLY . . . Crappy Customer Service
I've had a ring doorbell for 3+yrs. This year they started requiring a credit card for auto payment of their service. I do not participate in auto payment and they will not allow a pay as you go. Thats it done with them. I wanted to contact them via email and there is no way to do that. Great Customer Service, eh? They were way better at this before being bought out by Amazon.

Ik heb contact opgenomen met ring i.v.m. problemen met meldingen. Maar wat is dat een verschrikkelijke slechte organisatie. Ik heb spijt dat ik een Ring heb aangeschaft. Ik had iemand aan de lijn die amper te volgen is. Hij was een lijstje aan het opsommen die als ze die op internet beschikbaar stellen ook zelf kan nalopen. Uiteindelijk heb ik de app opnieuw moeten installeren wat natuurlijk niet helpt en uiteindelijk adviseerde ze me om alle mobile toestellen geheel opnieuw te installeren. Toen heb ik gevraagd of ze wel goed bij hun hoofd waren.

Terrible company
Ordered a doorbell through them and it worked perfectly for about an hour. When I called ring they tried to help me through the issue, however they could not and then told me to "Call an electrician" that they should know what to do. Now that I have returned the camera, they are still holding my money saying that they have 21 days to refund it even though the website says 7-10 days. Their customer support it terrible and everything that they tell you is from a script right in front of them. I wont buy another thing from them

Ich versuche bereits seit mehreren Tagen, die Geräte meines verstorbenen Vaters auf mich zu übertragen. Es ist nicht möglich... Ich habe eine E-Mail von Ring erhalten, dass ich weitere Informationen einreichen soll. Wenn ich diese an die E-Mail-Adresse sende, erhalte ich die E-Mail zurück, dass es die Adresse nicht gibt. Wenn ich im Support anrufe, erhalte ich die Information, dass ich die Infos an help at ring.com senden soll. Daraufhin erhalte ich einen Autoreply, dass diese Adresse nicht mehr existiert. Ich soll anrufen oder chatten. Absolut für den A....

Ring that doesn’t ring inside a need abbonement
We bought the ring doorbell from el giganten DK No where does it say that you have to by abbonement after one month. Also you cant hear the doorbell from inside. Only from the outside. Rubbish

Poor Customer Service
Ordered a ring doorbell in November 2020. It arrived middle of December. When I went to install my ring doorbell the 2 security screws were missing. I was unable to install and called ring support. They were very helpful and said that the screws would arrive within 10 days. That was on December 15 when I received notification of shipment. It is now January 3 and still no screws. They blamed it on shipper. The Post Office has had this since the 15 December. Ring failed to package the screws and I am left with a unusable doorbell. Good customer service would have expedited delivery to me. Do not order a ring doorbell as they do not care about pleasing their customers. I hope when screws finally come I have no problems with the doorbell.

Muss mich den allgemeinen Meinungen anschließen. Produkt ist okay, Service unterirdisch. Fünf Wochen auf meine Bestellung gewartet, angeblich versendet, war aber nicht zu tracken. Mehrfach Kontakt über die Hotline, angeblich Probleme mit der Zustellung, würde noch kommen, hat sich aber nichts getan. Also nochmal Hotline, Resultat: storniert. Um so ärgerlicher, da am black friday bestellt und jetzt soll ich trotz Angebot 15% mehr bezahlen? Da wollte ich doch nochmal nachhaken und habe dafür die alte Koversation genutzt, kommt jetzt nur noch der Autoresponder, dass Ring ab jetzt (01.01.2021?) keinen email support mehr anbietet. Schlechter gehts echt nicht mehr.

I am an experienced online shopper, but Ring really blow my mind about how terrible they are!!!! Terrible customer service!!!! Ordered on their website in Nov 2020, still not received majority products. Called the customer service several times and decided to return all of their products!! The customer supervisors are horrible also!! Lied to me they will reship my products, but they didn’t!! Wanted to talk manager level about their insanely bad customer service, but told not available!!! How can I trust this terrible customer service attitude and liars to protect my house?? Don’t even think to use this company!!

Very unhappy
Very unhappy. The Ring software does not have geofencing. You have to continually disable a camera when home or turn it off. If you turn it off you have to remember to turn it back on when you leave...that isn't happening. My Canary cameras and my Nest thermostats know when I leave or come home, why can't my Ring figure that out. Requires WAY TOO MUCH WORK to be a seamless operation. Will probably return for another product.

Think Twice before purchasing
Not great! Takes too long to load live video, even after upgrading wifi. I disconnected the doorbell because it was more of a hassle than its worth. Wasted money. Customer service was terrible in helping me diagnose the issues.

Spent 5+ hours today trying to…
Spent 5+ hours today trying to reset/reboot device. Can't be done remotely so had to travel 2hrs + plus almost an hour with a customer service representative that I feel like thought I was more of a pain in the !#$ than a customer and then 2 hrs back home only to find out device stopped working AGAIN!! My internet and signal is fine (other devices are working) If I could give Ring negative rating I would! Spend your $ on anything else...

Consistently inconsistent.
I have owned a Ring security camera doorbell for a little over a year now and I'm here to tell you, this thing is a pain in the butt. The battery life last about 2 months then needs to be recharged. I can live with that, I guess. Thought about installing a solar charger but from what I've read, it doesn't work as well as advertised. Obviously I have an account but seems like any time I try to log into it, it doesn't recognize me and forces me to continually change my password. I change my password and am able to log in only to be told at a later date that Ring does not recognize my password or log in name which requires me to once again, change my password. Unbelievable. Every time I remove and charge up the battery, I have to recreate everything in my account. And, setting up and creating my account is different every single time, so I have to re-learn the entire process every time I charge up the battery. One would think you could remove the battery, charge it up, reinstall the battery, log into your account and be good to go. Not so. Not even close. I am completely disappointed with Ring security and will be looking to purchase a security camera from a more reputable and reliable company. Sorry Ring. I do not recommend your product.

What a waste of money
What a waste of money. We have 5 cameras and we are constantly having issues with them. We had out tech guy come install everything to insure we don’t have issues and yet it still doesn’t record when it should and battery is dying when we have solar attached to it! It will record a fly but it won’t record someone pulling into my driveway or someone dropping a package. Worst camera ever. Going to swap it out for real camera system.
