The lady on the phone was not ready to listen to me. She was hyper, raising her loud voice and misbehaved. I cannot blame the whole customer service family but one bad apple can destroy the basket. She was very rude and unprofessional. I will say non technical who don't understand ring app process and issue I am currently facing.

I purchased a Ring 10 piece alarm…
I purchased a Ring 10 piece alarm system on 11/29/20 and still do not have it. I’ve called Ring 15 times for a positive response or resolution but all I receive is smoke up my reared. Each call I’m told that it will be escalated to the shipping manager for immediate response or that I will receive a return phone call within 24-48 hours but no calls are ever made and my alarm has yet to be delivered. I’m continually promised that my alarm will be delivered on such and such a date but it never shows up or they promise and claim it will be sent by FedEx yet no alarm system shows up. I feel that Ring, knowingly and with intent defrauded me. They took my money but failed to provide the alarm system. Ring also blocked my Ring account access so that I can no longer view this purchase or any information about this transaction. Ring refuses to generate a code so I can access this account. I feel that Ring and there Representatives are nothing but thieves and liars that use false advertisement, bait & switch sales practices to mislead and deceive customers. I feel that Ring staff can not be trusted or taken at there word. I feel that these representatives provide false claims and promises and then simply renege on everything. I feel Ring is not reputable or trustworthy and that there behavior and treatment of customers is criminal and morally outrageous & offensive.

Leuke verpakking met verschillende gekleurde kapjes voor je buitenbel met camera. Slechte gebruiksaanwijzing. Simpel aansluiten op bestaande bel. Gewoon op de plek van de oude drukknop (meestal bij de voordeur).
Ring en camera staan dus in serie met bel waardoor je een spanningsdeler van bel en ring krijgt. Loopt dan ook continu stroom Door bel en bel produceerd doorlopend herrie.
Technisch gezien klopt er dus niets van. Dit verklaart veel klachten. Gelukkig hebben de mensen waar ik ben geweest bijde een 500 Mb internet met wifi binnen 2 meter. Maar ja 500 Mb voor alleen een bel (€ 18 per maand extra boven wat er geiddeld nodig is binnen een normaal gezin) is echt belachelijk.
Ik ben zelf gelukkig niet in het bezit van deze rotzooi en zal hem ook nooit aanschaffen. Mijn kennis is instalateur met ruime electronica ervaring en heb de installatie op verschillende adressen afgeblazen omdat de aanpassingen te duur zijn en het vertrouwen in de originele randapperatuur niet meer aanwezig is.
Only good for 60 days??
5 days before Christmas we discovered a theft from an otherwise secure area of our home covered by Ring. Turns out the theft probably occurred 5 months ago 3July2020 when a water heater had to be replaced . Ring history 60 days, so worthless for anything older. Now putting up game cameras over ring for security.

Connection Issues if you don't pay for Subscription
WARNING: I am one of the unfortunate new customers that is experiencing the live connection stream not working - only since the trial ended. I'll be posting on social media as well. This is not good service after spending big bucks on the Ring Video Doorbell 3 via Amazon Prime back in October. Not recommended.

Zowel deurbel als chime gekocht, maar bij beide problemen bij aansluiten, dus klantenservice gebeld, die zeker wel de moeite en tijd namen. Maar let wel op. Bellen met klantenservice is niet gratis!!!!! Grapje heeft me 35€ aan belkosten opgeleverd.

My first ring door bell stopped connecting to wi fi.They replaced it and send me another one.That quit connecting to wi fi in 15 days.I decided to not reset my router as there is nothing wrong with it and other devices work well off of it.Very disappointing performance.Very pricy too.Customer support is clueless on top of all this.Deserves half a star.Will not recommend.

Der Ring-Kundendienst ist telefonisch nicht erreichbar (dauerhaft besetzt). Der e-Mail Kontakt ist ein Desaster, zuerst werden nur die Vorschläge dear Supportseiten wiederholt und danach wird das Problem entweder nicht verstanden oder die Problembeschreibung nicht gelesen.

I ordered and paid for the 14 piece security system plus several additional pieces to the system. I still have not received three of the components. Upon calling to request the missing items be shipped to me, members. was very disappointed in the customer service. I basically have to keep waiting while they decide if I received and kept all the parts and lied to request more items. As a customer, I am highly insulted at this implication. Ring should send a new shipment and then try to research their error or the error of the shipper. Shipping companies deliver so many packages, it is likely it was misplaced or left at the wrong address. The customer is definitely at the bottom of the list of importance with ring. Other calls to support for defective equipment has had poor results as well. Support techs read a list of possible issues, but if those don't work they just read the list again instead of trying to help find a solution. I suggest you spend a little more and buy a system from a company that will stand behind their product and that has competent support members.

It worked fine while I had the trial recording. I let it lapse and couldn’t see a live view. The arrow just spun and wouldn’t connect. I bought the subscription and now live works fine. I will replace it once my subscription runs out.
Terrible Customer Service
The alarm itself is OK, but customer service is HORRIBLE. I thought I was missing a window magnet, so I ordered a replacement on the Ring website as well as a few other items to get free shipping. A few minutes later I found the magnet and called customer service to cancel. Their policy is to call within 50 min to cancel an order and I was well within that at 15 min. It took so long for customer service to try to cancel that they were no longer able to cancel because it fell outside of the 50 min time frame. They said I'd have to reject the package upon delivery and sent me a return authorization so I didn't have to pay $5 to return. The return authorization was incorrect and I had to call again to have them list all of the items within my order. I sent back the product last week. It was delivered yesterday. And Ring says they still haven't seen the return come through. Customer service is not based in the US and every customer service person I've spoken to (about 8) have all had very limited ability to fully understand the issue and offer any help. I will NEVER buy from the Ring website again. Now that I'm stuck with Ring products, I'll have to order accessories from Best Buy or Amazon, but I am irritated that I'm stuck with their system.

The customer support is not the same as when I first purchased the Ring. Also, my posts keep getting blocked by Ring and they still haven’t responded as to why. I am researching other doorbell cameras that has a better quality picture as well. The quality of the Ring doorbell is subpar.

The most incompetent customer service I’ve ever encountered. I’ll just get a refund. Ordered the peep hole camera with the battery. The battery came first had to call back to get them to send camera. I’ve called several times. The most condescending service you’ll ever get. Save your money & nerves not worth it.

3 Mal Ersatz versprochen - kommt nie an. Peinlich!
Man vertröstet mich zum dritten Mal damit, dass ich nun per FedEx eine Ersatz Doorbell 3 erhalte. Hab die Doorbell nie erhalten. Ein Mal habe ich einen Solar Charger erhalten. Jedes Mal erhalte ich eine Request ID und ein Return Label für die Retoure. Nur die Ersatz Doorbell 3 findet einfach nicht den Weg zu mir. Finger weg! NICHT SERIÖS. PEINLICH

Very unpleasant experience with customer service. The agent and supervisor were rude didn't resolve the issue. I decided to return the product. Suggestion for ring don't promise if you can't honor.
Do not buy save your money
I did buy Ring bell a year ago on the base it doesn't need wire power supply and the battery will hold for up to 6 months as claimed by Ring.
Well it is not true, you will be lucky to get 3 weeks out of the battery. Also, the viewing during winter is rubbish and you can't see any thing.
I have been trying to resolve the issue with Ring customer service for the last 1 year but with no success.
I strongly advise customers for not falling in the same trap as me and not to buy Ring bell or any other product from them.

Absolute rommel. Netwerk 3 keer veranderd om te zorgen dat er buiten ontvangst genoeg is voor de toestellen (Ring 2 en Ring Pro) en nog zit er teveel vertraging op en komen de signalen vaak niet door.
Volgens Ring ligt het nooit aan hun producten maar aan het netwerk, intussen is het wel duidelijk dat het aan hun producten ligt. Als je dan vraagt om een compensatie om Power over Ethernet producten te kopen (om het toch nog een kans te geven) beloven ze steeds om hierop terug te komen maar zonder resultaat. Blijf weg van die kl*teproducten.

My ring doorbell stops working whenever it’s damn well pleases and doesn’t notify me it’s not working. I only find out when friends or neighbors come by and ring the doorbell and say no one ever came to the door and yet we were home with the time. This makes it totally worthless and I’m gonna buy a remote your bill from Home Depot and junk this piece of crap
BAD QUALITY & BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
Ring died after a few days. Dec 3, Replacement went to wrong State of Ohio, and I live in Texas .12/12, customer rep escalated. 12/17 shipment was routed back to CA. Rep told me she knew nothing, she could not help at all.

Called and was on hold 20 minutes, agent could not understand my problem and my call was "disconnected" while I was explaining, They had asked my phone number but did not call back. I initiated new call, on hold 15 minutes, connected to agent in another country I could not understand, asked to talk to US agent, now on hold 30 minutes, and being told the US agent is closing for today and I should call back tomorrow.
