I tried to buy a RING system, I gave-up and cancelled the order!!
I ordered a 10 piece RING security system almost a month ago and they promised to have it to me in 5 days. I got a small box with the yard sign and 2 other pieces; I waited to receive the rest, never came. I called they said they'd reship the balance and again, 5 days, nothing. I called again, it never went out. Supervisor promised to reship and I'd have it in 3-5 days. Again nothing, called again, it never went out. After about 5 hours total on the phone I cancelled the order. Save your time and much aggravation, buy a competitors system, RING is inept!

Schlechter Support, versprochener Austausch von meinem Doorbell blieb seit dem 8.12.20 aus. In einem Telefonat mit einem Hotlinemitarbeiter bestand das Gespräch zu 3/4 aus dem penetranten Betteln eine gute Bewertung abzugeben. Nach einer Stunde bekam ich einen Anruf, ob ich die Bewertung abgegeben habe. - Natürlich habe ich nach diesem Anruf eine Bewertung abgeben und direkt einen Stern von 10 für dieses unmögliche Verhalten vergeben.

I have never been had to jump through so many hoops to go no where. My phone already had the app. Then I bought a new phone tried to login and got the usual "verification code sent to email". I look email says "sorry we can not verify email". Then states go to app click this and that(luckily I have app downloaded on original phone). So I keep jumpin just for the app to say "you can not access at this time". Now i call request a call back that happens, then I get put on hold 25minutes she then gets back on the line "would you like to continue to hold" and I am still on hold. How many people are having this problem that paid for their services? My opinion is they need to refund people or face a class action lawsuit.

Don't waste your money with this company. Their customer service is non existent. They took my annual subscription happily but when i installed a new doorbell three months later the subscription doesn't transfer to the new doorbell. No way to contact them, no email not answering their phone. Complete RIP OFF!
This is the worst company and customer…
This is the worst company and customer service! I made a purchase on Nov 14th, 2020 for an eero beacon. Not only was I lied to about shipping.... I have still not received the device. I have since purchased the same product on Amazon at $45 less. I called to cancel the purchase and request a refund. They keep giving me the runaround. I have been on the phone multiple times, countless hrs. This is very unprofessional and downright fraudulent. I am giving them 72hrs to refund my money or I'm going on every medium to let people know how they treat their customers.

Called customer service on Wednesday and it said I have to wait no more than 45 minutes to speak to someone! I called again today, Sunday, and it said less than 35 mins this time! It’s been 35 mins and I still hear the same annoying hold music and no person. I can’t do this without speaking to the ring god!!! New iPad and old one is gone. Can’t sign into my account without calling this company! This is just horrible service. This is what makes other companies overtake companies like this one.
I Ordered a Ring doorbell for my Sister…
I Ordered a Ring doorbell for my Sister for Christmas on 11/30/20 and Ring could not deliver as promised. Their Web-site said orders were delayed 24 to 48 hours when I placed the order. After 2-weeks with no update, I used their chat line to inquire. Much to my surprise, I was told it would not ship until 12/27 - 12/30. Not even close to what they promised before they took the order and charged my card. Bad form Ring! If you can’t deliver, don’t sell the product. And, communicate with your customers so they know what to expect and are not surprised. Based on your reviews, you have a lot of work to do. You have a good product, but you can’t support it. Bad form.
Worst Customer Service in the industry!
They simply don't want to help you when something goes wrong! Their site makes it impossible to get help because they don't want to talk to you. I have now been on hold for 25 minutes after finding the customer service number through a google search. One of my keypads has lost its sound and research shows the only remedy is to replace it. It is a common problem. Too bad you can't get anybody at Ring to talk to you! I'm happy with the cameras and alarm system. Such a shame that this company is being so badly tarnished by their horrendous customer service.
Absurdly complex to transfer ownership of an existing security system
Purchased a home with a full Ring security system. Instead of making transfer easy, we were required to manually reset every single sensor, reprogram the base station, and start from scratch. Unlike any other security system where you can simply transfer the entire account as set up, Ring makes you start from scratch. Ridiculous waste of time.

Der Mitarbeiter aus den USA war super unfreundlich. Ich erklärte ihm, dass ein ständiges Rauschen bei der Ring Doorbell im Hintergrund herrscht, er reagierte darauf mit der Aussage, ich kann mir ja eine andere Firma suchen bei der ich das Gerät kaufen kann. Skip Purchasing Ring Home Security
I recently purchased a Ring Home Security Soution online. Selecting a bundle was straight forward but navigating the sight for incremental components was less than intuitive. But the real issue was actually getting the product. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! They shipped a different bundle than what I ordered and the apparently planned to supplement the missing pieces over the next two weeks. After several calls I was still struggling to get all the pieces. despite assurance the wrong count of items (less not more) arrived. Calling customer service is an experience itself. Expect long wait times (45 minutes). If you're lucky to get the option to have them call you back don't expect the call in the time they announced. I am on my fifth call and still don't have any resolution. The plan at this point is to return the system and go with Simplisafe!

I recently purchased a home that included 2 Ring Door bells. The previous owner never deactivated the devices from his account and I have no way of contacting him. I've sent RING copies of the sales contract as well as the items (RING) listed on the sale agreement. After multiple phone calls and e-mails to RING and 2 different escalations in my case, they have stopped returning phone calls and e-mails. I am told that it is my responsibility yo get a hold of the previous owner and have him deactivate the devices. Last I remember he was their customer, not mine.
I find the RING cameras to be…a P.O.S.
I find the RING cameras to be unreliable, often going "off-line". When recharging batteries, the reconnection to the system is a true ordeal. If I am lucky enough to get through to a service rep who actually speaks passable English, they use a trial-and-error approach to setting things up, often taking 1 to 2 hours to get it working. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
Terrible follow up
I ordered a ring device on November 30, 2020 at Ring.com. Upon completing the order process I was told to allow 24-48 hours for delivery. I comment then pops up to allow an additional 24-48 due to Covid-19. Both these are acceptable and understandable. After not receiving any status updates for 9 days I call to check on the situation. I am told that my item will be shipped between December 27-30. My major disappointment is not the fact that the shipping has been delayed to being out of stock, my problem is that nobody attempted to notify of the delay. Ring apparently has both my email and my phone number (because I had to verify them) yet I would never have found out the significant delay if I had not contacted them. Very poor customer follow up.

If I could give a 0 I would. fair on the equipment. doorbell doesn't always work. now we had to pay a fee for the next year. we paid and cannot have access to the system. the agent at ring, we spoke to 8 of them, had us change passwords. the new passwords never work. If I could get a refund I would. Horrible customer service. it is obvious the company does not train them. I am contacting Costco as they want to know about their products.

Ordered the Ring stick up cam directly from Ring and decided to cancel it 20 minutes later. Instead I chose to buy it through Amazon due to 2 day delivery from date of order. From Ring it would have been 2 days to process the order and then 3 to 5 days to ship. Amazingly, Ring sales charged my CC immediately even before shipping. They assured me they would refund my CC and after 2 weeks have yet to receive my credit. Fortunately, my bank has back. Bottom line, don't buy directly from Ring and if you do, I worry about their very poor customer service.
Ring - worst customer service ever!
I have a problem getting ring doorbell pro working properly, and getting a right person to help on the phone is being a huge issue.
I was waiting for about 40-50 minutes and finally got someone that didn’t know anything about ring just reading from a script. He than transferred me to higher support, and the girl that I had on the phone was a total jerk. She was mean and nasty, until I said something to her...than she started being fake nice, and suddenly the call got disconnected. After that I received 2 phone calls from ring, and it was just silence for a few seconds and getting disconnected. I will smash the ring doorbell pro with the hummer to not have to deal with such horrible customer service. Worst product ever!!! No more ring!

Even worse than the Long hold tome, you have to listen to endless ads while on hold . Puleeze stop the ads! Yes, if the system works well, I will be OK, but this poor support really SUCKS.

Horrible customer service. The only people who are competent are the sales people. After they’ve sold you the items good luck dealing with the incompetent staff. I’ve been waiting for a refund of over 400 dollars for over a month now (I returned the items a month ago and they don’t know where my money is)

Ring doorbell> accu loopt binnen een week leeg, dus met schroevendraaier openmaken en accu uithalen, duurt 10 uur of zo om op te laden. Als de accu is toevalig aangesloten en iemand drukt op de Ring dan duurt het ca 4 minuten voor dat het online komt en je kan zeggen dat je niet thuis bent, dan zijn ze al lang weg. Je kunt een abbo nemen en elke maand betalen als je wilt zien wie aan de deur is geweest en je hebt gemist. Eigenlijk is Ring de grootste miskoop die ik ooit ooit heb gedaan. Dus zoek eerst via Google voor je zo'n shit apperaat koopt. Dat was het:)
Update on ring doorbell!!!
I ordered the Ring Pro $249.00 but Ring sent me the 2nd Generation which works with batteries. I specifically wanted my doorbell to be hardwired. I’ve spent more than $1000.00 hiring 2 different electricians who couldn’t get the doorbell to work properly. It took weeks trying to figure out that I received the wrong doorbell. My compensation is a new Ring Pro & wait for it......also a Ring yard sign!

Een deurbel heeft slechts één primaire taak: laten weten dat er iemand voor de deur staat. En zelfs dat kan dit apparaat niet goed. Vijf van de tien keer komt er helemaal geen melding, niet op onze telefoons, en ook niet op de gekoppelde chime. En de andere keren komen meldingen zo laat, dat de persoon al reeds doorgelopen is, of dat ze op het raam geklopt hebben en al reeds bij ons binnen staan.
Dit oplossing met Ring blijkt eveneens een crime. Ze geven steeds onze internetverbinding of wifi de schuld, maar dat is gelukkig bij ons juist heel snel en erg stabiel.
Ik durf het apparaat zelfs niet op marktplaats te zetten, want ik schaam me om zoiets door te verkopen.

The device works great. But the batteries are terrible. I bought a spare battery for my Ring device and it was dead on arrival: charged all day and got hot but did not hold its charge. Called up Ring and they put you through a whole song and dance, click this, delete that, what the heck? Just send me an RMA, please!
