Horrible Customer Service. Disgraceful!
I purchased a two-pack of Ring Spotlight Cameras with included solar charging panels on November 20, 2020 for my father's 80th birthday. The spotlight cameras were never delivered. I have contacted Ring on three separate occasions so far trying to have cameras sent to me. Because their tracking system simply shows "in-transit, delayed", they simply expect me to wait indefinitely for cameras that they either failed to ship or lost. There tracking clearly shows they were not delivered, however, their dreadful customer service offers no resolution other than to wait indefinitely for the cameras to magically appear.
Expect hour long waits on hold each time you call, and for nothing to be resolved when you have an issue with Ring.com. I will never purchase a product through Ring.com again, and likely will not ever purchase a Ring product again. This is truly the worst customer service I have ever encountered.

Poor communication
I placed an order on Black friday for the Ring Security 7, with doorbell and camera for £250. The order was subsequently cancelled, by Ring, yesterday.
I called today to understand the reason, spoke to Mohammed. He informed me order was cancelled because the delivery address and registered address was different. I had chose to have it delivered elsewhere because I am currently out of the country.
I did not receive email confirmation of the order nor did I receive a cancellation by email.
I told him I was happy to re-place the order but he told me I would have to pay full price. I therefore would be penalised £200 for wanting to become a first time customer.
As a business owner, I would want my customer to give me a chance to put things right. So, I welcome response and would like rings confirmation I can re-place the order at the black friday discounted price.
I emailed, but they do not have an email customer services!

Lots of censorship
I was concerned because the car drove in front of my house with the light off then left with the lights off creepy! Then the resolution is very poor and there is huge delay between when someone comes to your door followed with notification, which the blame on wifi, but I have high speed internet so it's the application

De charger werkt misschien in Arizona, maar in Nederland niet.
Batterij is leeg in een maand.
Contact met de klanten service is belabberd.
Service kennen ze niet bij Ring.
This is a terrible product
This is a terrible product. It just continually stops working and has to be rebooted and reset up. It's not. the wifi signal (it shows as strong), and the battery keeps discharging even on the lowest power draw. When you do get to customer service they are polite but helpless.
Part time surveillance.
The mission of the product has the best of intentions, however; it fails to muster positive results on a full time basis. Connectivity to cameras not close to the modem is intermittent at best and frustrating at worse. Customer service is out sourced to foreign countries making for difficult useful conversation. The knowledge of the customer is only as good as their weakest representative. In conclusion, when the system works, it is awesome, but it works on a part time basis. I have two spot light cameras and one battery camera with solar power.

I'm afraid I cannot trust Ring to protect my home! tons of bugs and errors and connectivity issues, Its not acceptable while paying them so much money each month for the awful subscription service! going to cancel my account
This company is worse than COVID
As a company, they should advertise that if you don’t pay for the yearly premium service the product won’t work it’s very misleading. It worked well when we got it we even bought the additional speaker so we could hear the doorbell sound in the house and not only through or phones. We had a few issues with lag and they said they were working on it but as soon as our trial period was over and we didn't pay for the yearly service it stopped working they force you to get a firmware update so they can de-commission your doorbell if you call they tell you you don't have the premium package we cant help you. There is no mention of this yearly service when you buy the product total and complete scam....avoid like the plague!

Een update en wat is het nu slecht. hij zegt batterij niet aanwezig maar wifi verbinding goed en klepje open terwijl hij dicht is, en de MODI doet het niet meer android telefoon kom op RING doe een wat aan de software dit is echt zeer slechte reclame en slecht voor de klanten, als de reviews zo doorgaan is het bedrijf binnen 6 maanden aan de grond en word er niks meer verkocht. HOU DE KLANTEN TEVREDEN!!!! los de problemen op!!!
Terrible service
Bought the video doorbell on discount from Costco. There were no English instructions, only French. Phoned 'Ring' only to get someone who spoke English poorly. She couldn't help, so I found the instructions on line. Downloaded the app, but could not register due to 'Ring' difficulties. Numerous verification codes sent but technical difficulties persisted. Started to look at online reviews and realized that this product was plagued by poor service.
I'm taking it back to Costco.
Niet te geloven
Niet te geloven. Ik wil het terug pakket sturen, maar de medewerker aan de telefoon snapt echt nkks wat een domme vragen stelt hij. Hij vraagt naar een mac adres die niet op een verpakking staat. Kan geen naam in de pc zetten. Niet te geloven en hangt dan gewoon op als je hem hier op aanspreekt. Wat een service. En daarna nemen ze niet meer op. Geen woorden voor.

Really upset with camera clarity
Really upset with camera clarity. My car is parked less than 20 feet away and this lousy camera cant read the plate.
I have had nothing but bad experiences…
I have had nothing but bad experiences with this company. Their customer service seems to be run by snotty teenagers who couldn't care less if you have a problem. The devices don't work well and no one will help you with them. I ended up tossing a ring doorbell in the trash. I have a ring battery spotlight camera. It works, but everytime it loses wifi connection it's a nightmare getting it connected. The last time I had to delete the device, reinstall it and create a new account. Now they are trying to bill me for 2 accounts.
Lousy customer service!
I ordered a ring doorbell 3, and a ring security camera solar tonight. after a while on the phone, we finally got it ordered and I received an email regarding the order. After reviewing the order, I noticed right away that they had ordered a black camera instead of the white one I wanted due to our home being white, I mean, why would I want a black camera on a white house right?
Now upon seeing this, I called customer service
(1-800-656-1918) to get them to change it to white as I had asked for originally. After being on eternal hold for quite some time, I was instructed that they cant change it back to white as originally ordered and that I have to cancel the order and go thru it again to get the right color that they screwed up in the first place! That wasn't an option as I had placed it on a credit card and once they cancel, it takes 24 to 48 BUISNESS hours to apply to the account and I wasn't going to have two charges on the card because of their inability to understand white from black! When I asked for a supervisor, they told me they would call me back as they did, but this call was worse than the other two! This guy tries telling me that I ordered a black camera, after I explained to him that he was completely out of his mind, and that I bought this house nearly 20 years ago, that it was white when I bought it then, and that I'm pretty sure it still is white as of the last time I was outside, he tries to tell me that I don't l know what I ordered! Needless to say, I cancelled the order and was told I'm getting a refund on my card (of which I'm not too optimistic they can get that right), and feel as though they didn't do anything to try and save the sale and/or customer and account. When asked where they were located, they were reluctant to say they were in the Philippines. My advice to anyone looking for a doorbell camera or security system is this, GO TO ADT, SIMPLY SAFE OR ANOTHER COMPANY and stay away from these guys. Their customer service is absolutely lousy and with that comes lousy service. Think about this for a moment, with service like this, do you trust them with the security of your home or property? I know I'm not and I hope you don't either!

Horrible company I am so upset that I have bought anything from them I have paid for the ring protect program and went to Cameras went out it took five hours and multiple calls to finally get someone to verify that my ring protect program was in fact in good status I was told I would have the cameras within two days it is now five days later and I have spent five hours with multiple supposed supervisors telling me that they would be sending out cameras yet they provide no tracking number no information and every day I find out that they lie repeatedly and the cameras still have not been sent this is a horrible company with horrible customer service when I asked a supervisor by the name of Luis who can I speak to to expedite this I am frustrated and disgusted he told me that there was nothing can be done and they’ll get to the order when they can this is unacceptable I would think twice before ever doing business with this company
Waste of Money
The product worked sufficiently for about 9 months and then simply failed. It will not connect to my home's Wifi signal. Ring's response is that I should purchase additional products to "boost" my signal. The customer service is non-existent. The whole premise of the video doorbell is a fraud. Their products are inherently defective and the company hides behind its pathetic warranty so as not to actually resolve any problems.

Do not buy
The product, a video doorbell, is fickle at best. The customer service is terrible. Many agents don't speak English and they try to direct customers to their website. That's fine unless the customer can't logon to the website. I will never buy another Ring product.
Geen idee waar ze mee bezig zijn
Op 27 sept een deurbelsysteem gekocht. Enkele dagen later binnen en meteen 3 uur geprobeerd te installeren, niet gelukt. Dag later aan elektricien gevraagd die hier toch was, 2 uur werk, weer niet gelukt. Beide keren met een slecht Nederlands sprekend persoon van Ring aan de lijn geweest, niet te doen. Telkens zonder oplossing op moeten hangen, kan echt niet. Uiteindelijk een 3e keer gebeld, toen logden ze in, in ons belsysteem, bleek softwarefout van de bel-unit (nieuw product!). Alles mocht terug gestuurd. 2 weken later nog geen reactie of nieuwe bel retour gehad, gebeld, product niet op voorraad, pas over 9 werkdagen. Nog eens 2 weken gewacht en maar weer gebeld, bleek onze order compleet verwijderd (maar gewoon 5 weken daarvoor allang betaald!), en ook nu weer niet op voorraad. Wederom ook weer een incompetente medewerker aan de lijn. Inmiddels is het 17 nov en dus ruim 7 weken na betalen, nog steeds zonder een bel. Zojuist toezegging dat de order opnieuw erin is gezet, verwachting is volgende week bezorgd. Zo besteed je bijna 300 euro aan een deurbel en heb je bijna 2 maanden later een hoop gedoe gehad, maar nog steeds geen bel. Misschien dan toch maar beter naar de bouwmarkt voor een bel van 4 tientjes. Erg bijzonder bedrijf die Ring.
The doorbell is fine
The doorbell is fine, but doesn't see a lot of things, and see's other things too much, like the flag waving in front of our house. This is the most ridiculous part, as if you don't pay for a subscription it will constantly notify us that there is motion. So annoying and not helpful.
Ring Appears to be a Scam
We purchased a Ring Doorbell about a year ago and in spite of charging it now does not work at all. We also received a request for a 30 dollar fee to use our own floor bell (without the video service), foolishly paid it and the doorbell still does not work They have closed down their helpline. I now believe this company went bankrupt and was taken over by Amazon. But Amazon has patently failed to get it up and running again.

Customer Service is horrible. My ring is defective, we were told our new ring would be expedited on 11/5. On 11/14 no ring replacement, I called and was told it had been sent out but had not been expedited! Asked why and was told the previous rep misrepresented himself. The best they could do is apologize, I communicated their apology was just as worthless as their product bc it didn’t change anything our home remains unprotected! If Amazon and Walmart can ship same day then ring clearly needs to reevaluate their service! Utterly ridiculous!
Slechte service
Ring besteld ziet er naar uit dat het allemaal netjes werkt. Maar het pakketje werd gewoon bij over de schutting gegooid omdat ik niet thuis was. Kan toch echt niet. Mijn beklag gedaan bij ring. Maar helaas een zeer slechte service heb nu wel spijt dat ik deze gekocht heb
