Receiving emails from this company for an account I never had and the company's website states that I must create an account to stop getting 2 step notifications emails from them. Amazon owned? Perhaps I need to cancel that account also.
Terrible customer service
I purchased a Ring floodlight cam directly from ring.com. This product was supposedly a "certified refurbished" product. After having the unit installed and attempting to complete set up the device was still registered to the previous owner and I was unable to use it. After spending an hour on the phone the only solution they could offer was to send me another device and the cost of removal of the old one and installation of the new one was my problem and clearly not their concern. Unsure of the how well the device works but as far as customer service is concerned ring.com does not do a very good job.

This ring doorbell 2 is the worst product ever. They are selling people a false sense of security. This doorbell can be easily hacked by outsiders. I have replaced mine 4 TIMES and it is still being hacked and my home is being broken into constantly. The company will no longer log my calls and is changing my calls to cover the companies inability to address the problem
I would not recommend this to anyone and if you have it send it back
Terrible investment in my experience. Poor quality at night..
I have invested approx 1500 in Ring cameras and Chile pro. Terrible! Just terrible experience. There is no clear picture at night so very poor quality ... basically all 4 of them are useless! I have Been trouble shooting them consistently and speaking to tech support. Just a waste of time... very unhappy!
Delayed Notifications
The device constantly delivers delayed notifications, which is useless if you want to speak to the person at your door through the device. Records activity well but requires a subscription.
Very disappointed
Very disappointed. Poor quality in our experience.. I have 4 ring cameras outside and none work. They get extremely blurry and they take for every to activate every time I go to check. Just terrible .. I want a refund but they will not give a refund. Waste of time and money for us. We have had a Bad experience!
I am incredibly disappointed
I am incredibly disappointed. I have invested in many ring devices for my home and the response time to live view, notifications and video replay was very good in the past. In the last year the system is incredible slow. I recrive notification of movement after/too late. When there is urgency to review video replay you can’t because it takes 40-50 seconds to post for you to be able to review. Between late notifications, slow live cam activation and slow replay your house could be robbed by then. Rumor has it Ring was purchased and now they run the feed through something that has slowed the system. I have checked my wifi and that is NOT the issue as ring would like you to think. I have spent a fortune for a system that is no longer providing a quality service.

I ordered my Ring by phone from the company, the girl quickly walked me through what she thought I needed, I get it installed about a month later. I was telling my son that I liked it, he watched some of my videos. That day he goes to a local store, they walk him through the various options and purchases 2 or 3 products and installed them that day. A few days later, he showed me his videos... his night captions were in color, mine were not. He said he got the newest version. I am totally disappointed that I was not able to have color vision at night. Sales people at Ring are worthless, if you buy Ring, go to a local dealer. I am very unhappy.

I wish I had checked reviews before I purchased this product. I have the ring doorbell with two plug in chimes inside my house. All of a sudden they all stopped working. I got the doorbell back online but after 40 mins with customer service she told me I'd have to buy two new chimes as they are out of warranty. These are 3 year old chimes, their "use" is being plugged into a wall and occasionally chiming. It's a brilliant marketing strategy to make a "disposable" product so we, the consumer, are stuck with having to buy them over and over once we've installed the doorbell. Absolutely horrible company do not install

Truck broke into lastnight/ring company fraud
Ring informed us they don't record everything all the time, every 15 minutes it has to load for 30 seconds to a minute and it doesn't record during that time. i would call in and complain as well.... and the person who broke into our car probably knew it...they broke into it exactly at midnight...our camera was loading and not recording at that time...didn't get to see the car pull up.we are getting real security and on hold for supervisor with ring after being informed of this. Working on incident report now with the police as well.
AND MY HUSBAND IS A CONTRACTOR AND NOW IS CALLING CUSTOMERS EXPLAINING AND APOLOGIZING TO THEM FOR SELLING THIS PRODUCT TO THEM.

Ring Alarm will cost you more money…
Ring Alarm will cost you more money in the long run.
Have had the system a few months and things were ok at first, but the last month has been a nightmare.
First incident was a motion detector being triggered in my empty house when I was out of down.
Second was a door sensor saying it was tampered with in the middle of the night. (Also set off the alarm).
Third incident occurred when a family member entered the house and the keypad “disconnected” from the system when they entered the code to disarm. Also set off the alarm.
Just received a bill today for $75 for the false alarm even in #1.
I’ve always said it costs money to be cheap, I should haven taken my own advice and stuck to a proper alarm product.
FYI "RING Your LOSERS"
I have rung the Australian number for support 10 minutes later nothing. Hang up.
I have decided to give up on recharging this unit considering it is supposed to be wired. (and was installed by a qualified electrician I have the paperwork I re-called the electrician and he double checked his work to find wiring okay but unit is a dud.)
I have decided to sell it and start looking for an alternative brand, since Ring have not been able to resolve the issue or respond to emails.

You would think all these terrible reviews about the ring that they would do something about it. Nope there app is still the worst and slowest app out there. Besides putting a little money into there business to help raise customers satisfaction, Ring just chooses to do things the complete opposite and go with cheapest route they can take. All I see is terrible reviews but Ring has done nothing to fix these issues

Piece of crap!!! Every time something actually happens, the screen is black! For Halloween, we put out a bowl of candy by our front door with our porch light on and a paper taped to the door that said Take 1 Happy Halloween! When I got to the door all the candy in the bowl was gone! I watched the video that it recorded and the screen just stayed black! My sons scooter was also stolen from our front yard while having the ring doorbell and the screen was black that time too!!!! There are more videos that are black than videos that actually recorded what was going on! We’ve called customer service to help and it still does it. The doorbell is fairly close to our WiFi router. And we rarely have problems with our internet. I hate this door bell, I hope my review will help others realize that this was a horrible product before making the mistake of purchasing it, like I did!
Disappointed with several Ring cameras... DON'T waste your money!!!!
We have owned several Ring cameras now for about 18 months. I would give it a 1/2 star if could. I will start with the unreliable app notifications. I can watch people walk by the front door, go past the house before Ring picks it up and sends a notification about 25-30 seconds later so in real time really slow when you've got someone standing on the porch.
Next, App fails to load properly. Most of the time when I try to interact with the person at the door (those few times it actually notifies me while they're still there), the app hangs up before the camera even connects. A blank screen instead of the camera live view. If I back out of the app and go back in and tap "Live View," MIGHT reconnect, but its after multi tries.
Next, I have a very beefed up wireless network throughout our home. I have multi mesh network satellite pods that has ZERO issues connecting to other products at the edge of home / fence line.
I've gone through all of the subpar help materials on the Ring site, checked the Device Health repeatedly. The WiFi tests and Device Health all tell me the doorbell SHOULD be working just fine. Since it's not, the only thing I can assume is it's just not a reliable product. Sooooooo soooo incredibly disappointed to have spent the money on multiple devices. I have told people who ask me about it to completely stay AWAY from Ring and that there are much better products out there for same or less. DO NOT waste your money!!!!

Piece of crap. Took an entire minute to view recorded motion and another minute or more to answer the motion or live view. So if someone tried to steal something on your porch, they would be gone by the time you’re trying to see what’s going on. In addition dashboard quit refreshing automatically for me after a few months. They told me to do factory reset (read: take off the doorbell) so many times that the bottom cover is now broken and the screws are shredded. Told me that I have to get a brand new doorbell since the bottom plate is broken. Do NOT buy this piece of junk!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Ring Doorbell 2 has been junk ever since I bought it a year ago. Now 2 fully charged batteries and it won't even connect. My router is 3.5 feet away and it still had delays in motion, in ring alerts and in video. This thing is junk and I will never purchase another "Ring" anything!!

Nu har jeg haft denne Ring i et år og skifter nu til noget andet.
Den sidder lidt væk fra min hoveddør på en låge og måtte bruge wifi extender før den kan fange nettet. Helt fint men mine Arlo kameraer (overvågning) fanger fint wifi på den afstand.
Lyd og billede simpelthen for ringe i kvalitet og begge dele hakker når nogen er igennem.
For meget bøvl med den, hopper af når den løber tør for batteri og så skal du sætte den op forfra igen, ikke særlig brugervenlig. Og så skal man lige betale årligt abonnement for at bruge den - øv.
Tror jeg prøver at sætte et Arlo kamera op i stedet. Det virker, fed app og 0 abonnement!

Had Ring doorbell for a few years...highly disappointed...don't think your troubles are over just because you get one...if internet goes out then camera will NOT record..theives know that and that's when they come steal your stuff....get a better product ..ring doorbell needs MAJOR improvement ...its always intermittent
Very slow and totally unreliable
Very slow and totally unreliable. People have shown up right up at my door and no record of them. Every car that passes gets recorded however. If someone rings the bell by the time I answer they are gone. Totally worthless machine and app. Lots of fanfare with no substance.

Il était prévu que ring m'envoie un nouvel appareil, sauf que celui ci a été envoyé à l'adresse de celui qui ma piraté malgré que j'ai donné 2 fois mon adresse pour l'envoi de celui ci.
Aujourd'hui impossible de contacter ring.
En plus vu le prix de la sonnette, c'est honteux de devoir encore payer en plus un abonnement.
