Not Worth The Money !!!!
Every time some rings a door bell takes 3-4 minutes to connect to see who it is. Not worth it, Do Stay away, Plus something that’s not advertised, it requires a subscription

BUYER BEWARE. Please do your research before purchasing this home "security" system. The product is not effective and their customer service is the worst customer experience I have ever had to endure. Please know that this product REQUIRES the use of your internet bandwidth to function properly. If your internet goes out, or is experiencing low download speeds, the product will not work properly! I found out the hard way after two situations where I needed to review the footage on my camera only to discover that there was no footage due to internet issues. The first time was when my internet was out, the second time, all of my wireless products throughout the house were working flawlessly, but apparently the signal was not strong enough for the floodlight cameras to work properly. What is worse is that the Ring App DOES NOT give you any warning that the cameras are not functioning properly!! IF YOUR ARE RELYING ON THE CAMERAS TO RECORD 24-7 AND HELP PROTECT YOUR PROPERTY, THiS IS NOT THE RIGHT PRODUCT TO PURCHASE!! There are much more affordable options for closed circuit cameras that operate on a separate wireless system from your internet. The worst part about Ring company is their customer service. After having explained my issues (described above) and their admission to this fault of their equipment, I was given authorization from Ring to return my products directly to Ring (my Home Depot return window had expired). I packed up all of my Ring products and sent them back exactly as explained by their emails and by their customer service representatives in early February of 2020. I was told that it would take 3-6 weeks to process the refund. I followed up at the end of March, and was told that the refund is in process and that I would definitely have my money in 2 to 3 weeks. (Keep in mind, this was over an hour long conversation) I then followed up at the end of April (another 60+ minute conversation) and told that the refund is still in process and will take just another few weeks. You might see where this is going by now.. I end up calling back at the end of May, June, early July spending more than two hours on the phone each time and now I'm being told that they can't process it because they do not know where the product is. It is quite suspect that 6 months go by from the onset of this return and NOW the issue has become that the product is MIA. That was not the issue in March, April, May, or June. This has been a nightmare of time lost and money spent ultimately on a product that is not very well thought out and that is backed up by the worst customer service I have had the displeasure of having to deal with. Please do your research before purchasing.

This company and the devices they sell…
This company and the devices they sell are all junk. The videos cameras only work sometimes most of the time they dont sense people or it is such a junky video you cant do anything with it. Also the biggest BS is the protection plan they make it reoccurring charge that they wont let you cancel. I would highly advise anybody thinking about getting a ring DONT, its a waste of money, time, and patience. If i could leave zero stars i would. Horrible horrible company.

They sale a plastic base camera that needs to be recharged every week, after unscrew and screw back constantly it obvious that the plastic its getting damages, when i call and explain that i have a perfect functional camera that has a wear on the screws area, they just told me that i need a new camera, really!! They sholud better the material or set the plug in a different area to prevent that from happening if they are not willing to provide a better customer service

Meerdere situaties nauwelijks installeerbaar, daarna traaag
aan 30 jaar it ervaring heb je niets met Ring deurbel apparatuur. Pogingen tot installeren in verschillende omgevingen met meerdere smartphones geprobeerd, een drama. Ten eerste lukte een account aanmaken niet: de servers worden toevallig geupdate aldus een overigens vriendelijke medewerker. Vervolgens lukt het toevoegen van devices aan de ios app mbv de QR codes gewoon totaal niet, het tijdelijke wifi netwerkje wat het device opzet tbv installatie is niet benaderbaar. Na 3 uur is het gelukt 1 deurbel te installeren. Traag, traag, activating device, geen live beeld. Tekst 10 sec later hoorbaar. Een andere Ring in andere omgeving met Anroid idem dito, het is structureel rommel. Perfect idee waardeloos uitgewerkt.

This doorbell is junk. Twice it has totally failed, while I am away from home. Troubleshoot system sucks too. Don't waste your money.

Never records people walking up, only walking away if at all
I have an enclosed carport. I placed my Ring doorbell on the back wall in order to see anyone who walked up. I have mine set rather sensitive in that location because we've had trespassers in the past. I also have the snapshot activated so I can catch anything that might happen in between. I have it set this way because countless times people have walked up and out without even being captured on the camera. Sometimes if I'm lucky the camera will catch them walking away. I can't figure out what the heck the problem is. The camera captures every single time the wind blows my yard flag 20 feet away, but it will NOT capture strangers that walk up into my carport. I just happened again today. I was waiting for a very important package. The delivery person walked all the way up the carport (14feet) dropped off the package and walked away without a single second of footage on camera!!! How is that possible??? And I pay yearly to have this doorbell record and save videos. Truly a waste of money!!! Thankfully it's not much. I have the original ring doorbell and the ring doorbell 2. And neither one of them caught any footage of the delivery person. I definitely would NOT recommend either of these doorbells.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I have a Ring cam and I have contacted their customer service about some issues. Never responded back. Plus they are fickle with their neighbor cam posting guidelines.

I give them a zero
I give them a zero. First, NO US support team.... I ordered 2 systems that were supposed to ship via 2 day air. They charged my CC on 07/08. They provided a tracking # on 7/08 . When I called to check the status of the shipment, on 7/12, Ring support told me it shipped. Then they proceeded to tell me it would take 5-7 days for the shipment to be verified. When I told them I had already contacted UPS and UPS stated that "Ring had not shipped anything...they have just created a label". The Ring service representative then told me it would take 24hrs for their logistic specialist to find out where the shipment was...the shipment that they hadn't shipped yet. She then told me it would be my responsibility to work with UPS to find the shipment. When I began to debate her response...she hung up on me. When I called back they immediately put a supervisor on the phone. He then began to waste time..."I can't find your account"....or "your email" . He then stated that my order had shipped. When I confronted him he admitted that "the order has not been shipped but, it was in process" My response "So you lied...do you really think that is what a customer wants from the company who is supposed to be providing them security for their home and business...to be lied to" I demanded the order be cancelled and I filed a dispute with my CC company for a refund.

Sonnette vidéo Pro Wi-Fi de Ring - Bilingue Bilingue, mon œil. Service au Canada (1-855-300-7289) service en Anglais et en Espagnol – AUCUN SERVICE EN FRANÇAIS. Qualité d’image déformé. Et parfois saccadé. Il faut tenir compte que le service vous coûte $ 5.00 a $ 6.00/mois. Le kit Pro Power, installé au carillon, émet un son de vibration constant et fatiguant. La largeur de la sonnette et excessif. Je suis personnellement déçu du produit et du service a la clientèle qui n’est pas en français. Je ne recommande pas. J’ai retourné le produit chez Best Buy.

Bestelling geplaatst op 13/4, na mail met factuur gekregen te hebben, onmiddelijk betaald. Daarna mail gekregen dat produkt niet meer voorradig is, en dat het geld terug zou gestort worden op de rekening. Nu 9/7 nog altijd niks gekregen en geen antwoord meer op mails. Bende oplichters!

Tres mauvais produit
Installe il y a 1 mois impossible d ouvrir en direct , ne sonne déjà plus depuis 2 jours, capte vraiment tres mal etc... vu le prix c abusé !!! Produit a fuir!!! Autant acheter une sonnette basique!

RING customer service is a JOKE
I’m not sure if anyone in RING management will read this but they should. I love the RING stick up cam, however your customer service absolutely SUCKS. I purchased the 3 pack stick up cams from COSTCO and I love them. I referred 3 people who also purchased. Problem. I ordered an inside plug in camera from the RING site. I received the camera two days later only to find out it had already been registered to someone else. I contacted customer service and they were sending a replacement. It never came. Called 2nd time. I was told first guy dropped the ball and was assured new camera on the way. Week and a half later no word or email called again after another 10 days and this operator said both first and second call taker dropped the ball. RING your customer service SUCKS. I may have to drop this service just because they are that bad

Terrible. My bike was stolen in front of the camera. It didn't capture any footage. Customer support basically said there is nothing we can do but offer you 2 months of subscription free (wow $20 bucks). Moving to Nest.

Worse than Comcast cable company. I know, and I'm serious - it really is worse than that. Adding one more comment - their website and customer support are focused on one thing: sell, sell, sell. Please put effort into support and R&D. Honestly - making money may be a lot easier if you cared about your customers.

I have written 2 reviews and still no answer. The product does not perform as it should! At home or away from home it sits and spins and does not connect. I have to recharge the camera battery about once a month. They want $100 a year for the recording service which once it records it takes forever to see the video. It is a security device you should see the perpetrator immediately not several minutes later. By then they are gone!! I will be looking into other home security products.

Worst Items ever!
Worst Items ever! I bought a Ring doorbell system and battery operated camera. Both units went bad. They replaced the door bell and it lasted for about 2 weeks then it stopped working. Support was not able to repair units. Camera worked for about 6 months then it stopped working. Just not robust products and with such a fail rate. I would not recommend buying any of the Ring Branded products at all.

They monitor and ERASE posts you create on the app. This is what we wrote and it was deleted in 1 minute: “A huge FYI to everyone- Last night, we had an emergency occur in front of our RING camera. It took place for over 5 minutes with people going by and in and out of the house. There was a LOT of motion. We just checked the footage this morning for a timeline of events and LITERALLY, the footage stops recording after the first 30 seconds and goes to taking photos. In those photos, there are no people, just grass. It is our assumption that RING decided to conserve battery power with the motion occurring and CHOSE to not record. This is a MASSIVE issue, especially for those who’s houses get broken into because the RING won’t necessarily record it. We are reaching out to them today, but this defeats the purpose of owning one. We just changed our ‘motion frequency’ from standard to frequent. Hope that works.“ We are extremely mad. Now, we’re on a 35-45 minute wait on the phone to talk to a rep. Doubt that will go well.

Very disappointed with my new stick…
Very disappointed with my new stick battery camera. Half the time it fails to detect motion. Also, after a few hours it completely shuts down and I am unable to activate live cam or get it to detect motion. I have to literally reset the camera and start the add device process all over again. Then few hours later same thing. Tried reaching customer service and chatted with Kevin. After explaining my situation and requesting an exchange for a different stick cam he informs me he cannot help me further and I have to call a help line. And tried to lay blame on my high speed Blast internet. Ridiculous as the signal was strong. Needless to say I am returning the product and have informed Ring I will absolutely not pay the $5 return shipping charge. I am so disgusted I trusted this company. Stay away.
